Takes place after World Tour.

It had been a good day. Queen Poppy had been hanging out with all of the trolls rulers, her friends, and her boyfriend, Branch. The day had been filled with Barb's teasing, Broppy flirting, and the snack pack's having fun.

The queen of Pop didn't have much to do today, so she spent most of the day with her friends. After chatting for a while, they got bored. To break the awkward silence, Trollex suggested, "Hey, do you guys want to go camping tonight?" Everyone thought that was a great idea. And they all actually said aT tHe ExAcT sAmE tImE, "GREAT IDEA!!" :D

So they all agreed to meet at the edge of the woods at sundown. Poppy went to her pod and made a list of what she should bring. Branch came along with her to (of course) make sure she had the essentials, not just sweets.

"I love camping, don't you, Branch?" The energetic young troll said. Branch simply replied, "Depends." Poppy asked, "What's your favorite part about camping?" Branch thought for a second. Then he said, "Campfire stories- if they're not happy. I like the scary tales that don't end with a happily ever after." Poppy said, "My favorite is s'mores!" She licked her lips, thinking about the delicious desert she ate around campfires.

"Okay, now, what should I bring?" Poppy said to herself. "A tent, of course, and a sleeping bag." She jotted it down on her notepad. "Branch," she asked, "Are you going to bring your own tent?" Branch said, "Nah, I'd rather cuddle with you." Blushing, Poppy prepared the rest of her camping supplies (most of it being candy) and got ready for the night.

Later that evening, the gang gathered at the woods like they said, carrying their backpacks full of supplies. Though Branch had his backpack full medical gear, emergency stuff, and extra things. Just in case. He let Poppy carry the rest of his stuff.

When everyone made sure they had everything, the started hiking into the forest. They talked to pass the time as they went deeper into the forest. At one point, Poppy wasn't paying attention and almost tripped and fell. Thankfully, Branch got a hold of her hand before she could seriously injure herself.

Soon after, they reached a clearing. Branch said, "This looks like a decent place to set up camp." He looked around the area and said, "I think we might need to split into little groups. One group should clear the area of sticks and rocks, and the other should look for firewood."

None of them objected. They split into groups, Poppy, Barb, and Branch looking for firewood, and the others clearing the area so it wasn't so rocky.

Gathering the wood together, Poppy and Branch leaned over to pick up the same log at the same time. As a result, the bumped heads. Looking at each other to apologize, their lips were just inches away.

Yet, before the could kiss, they pulled back, blushing. Even thought the have been dating for a while, they still get flustered up. In fact, they had only given small, quick kisses on the lips, and that was hardly ever. It was mostly cheek pecks. They still continued to collect wood.

When everyone had finished their jobs, it was late, and time for a campfire! Prince D asked, "Poppy, do you have the marshmallows?" Poppy said, "Tons." She pulled them out of her backpack. There were three bags full of jumbo marshmallows.

Everyone then grabbed an edible fluffy pillow and put it on a stick. The sound of the fire cracking was calming. Once they all ate their third s'more, Branch suggested, "Why don't we tell stories?" The trolls all nodded in agreement.

Barb said, "Ooh, can I go first?" Then without even waiting for an answer, she begun her story. She cleared her throat dramatically. "Once, in a dark and creepy woods..."

Barb continued to tell her story, which Branch highly enjoyed. It was one of those spooky stories. I'm the other hand, Poppy because frightened. All the trolls knew very well that the young queen gets scared easily because she gets night terrors every night, and you can imagine that spookiness. I guess Barb didn't respect that around the campfire.

".... And then," Barb said, in the middle of the tale. She paused for effect. Then she screamed, "RAHHHH! The monster they thought was a myth creeped up behind them!" Poppy squealed and jumped at the unexpected scare.

Branch took notice, and he held her close in his arms. Poppy had tears forming in her eyes. Branch worried for her. He didn't say anything but just rubbed her back. He shot a look at Barb that said "you're scaring her." So she calmed the story down.

By the end of the tale, Poppy had fallen asleep on Branch's chest. They saw this as a sign to go to bed. Branch carried Poppy inside their tent and laid her down gently. She thankfully didn't show any signs of a nightmare. Branch laid down in his sleeping bag, but he couldn't fall asleep.

After laying there for a few minutes more, he decided to get up and walk out of the tent and sit by the fire, warming up. He started to him a little tune. *insert Branch humming Perfect by Ed Sheeran*

Poppy was twitching in her sleep, her dream was turning bad. She thankfully woke up before she could get into a nightmare. She sat up and heard humming. She stood up and walked outside to find the source of the sweet noise.

Poppy followed the humming to the where the fire was. She saw Branch siting there, humming, and she smiled. As he got into the chorus, she sang along:

Not knowing what it was... 🎶💗

Branch turned around, startled. He stopped. She smiled at him and asked, "What are you doing out here?" Branch said, "I couldn't fall asleep." He shrugged. Then he asked Poppy, "What are you doing?" I woke up from... When my dream almost wasn't a dream."

Branch held his arms out, and Poppy immediately collided with him, feeling safe in his embrace. Branch put two fingers under her chin and lifted her head to meet her eyes. He said, WiLl YoU mArRy Me?

JK. XD yeah virtually slap me now lol I'm just working in a request bored at midnight so yea

He actually said, "The nightmares you have are just part of your subconscious. Dreams are what you should focus on. If you think about the nightmares, you'll just have more of them." He smiled warmly at her. She smiled back and, without even knowing what she was doing, grabbed his vest and pulled him closer to her. He cupped her cheek and gave her a sweet kiss. They parted after a few seconds. Having no words to speak, they just sat next to each other, being mesmerized by the flames of the fire.

"HAHA! GOTCHA LOVEBIRDS!" The couple turned around to see the snack pack watching them the whole time. Poppy and Branch just 🤦 Branch said, "Why are you guys always spying on us in these oneshots?!" Guy Diamond shrugged. He said, "People want to make the Broppy shippers and the trolls fandom angry."

Barb just said, "You two should really be cute somewhere private, I'm gonna puke."
