Hey guys! This is my story for June, or Pride Month! Personally, I am completely straight, but I am not against those who are apart of the LGBTQ+ group. Thank you, and I support you! (Also, this will probably short, snappy, and horrible.)

(Rylie's POV)

You see, ever since we were kids, I have had this overhanging crush on this girl, Abby. Well, believe it or not, my school considers it shameful to be lesbian. So, that led to this... this... frustration of keeping in my feelings so that I won't be judged and hated for who I am.

Little did I know, she had feelings for me too.

Going a bit back, I am now a Sophomore in College, and I admitted my crush on the last day of school last year because of a dare.

Ok, so here's the full story:

The night before, I played Truth or Dare with my best friend and roomie, Elizabeth, who knew that I am lesbian, and was fully okay with it. She also knew of my colassal crush on Abby, and how I had to hold in my feelings during my classes. So, when it was turn to choose, and I chose dare, she didn't hesitate to jump at my heart's throat.

"I dare you to confess your love with Abby tomorrow."

I gasped at the dare, since she knew that I was a bit senstive with my crush. I mean, I grew up with Abby!

Oh, I'm so glad that Elizabeth dared me to that the next morning.

Anyways, when we went to class the next day, our morning schedules were all the same, and then at lunch, I would confess to Abby. So, when the bell rang to go the Cafeteria, I pulled Abby aside and into an empty bathroom.

Squeezing my eyes tight, I squeaked out, "Abby, I've had this ginormous crush on you since 1st grade, and I know that you'll probably say no, but do you want to be my girlfriend?" Leaving my eyes shut, I was met with crickets, and I slouched, thinking the worst.

That's when I felt soft lips on my own, and I instantly kissed back. Eventually, once we stopped, Abby spoke out, "Yes! I've had a crush on you since 1st grade as well!"

And there's how are happily ever after turned so happy.

Remind me to thank Elizabeth later.
