"BOOM!!!" An explosion of yellow lightning raged through the area as the very air seemed to smell of ozone and tremendous electrical power.

Laxus Dreyar stood before Gorroro who looked the worse for wear, covered in electrical burns, her sword drawn as she panted from the strain.

"Damn.." said Gorroro wiping a bit of blood from her cheek. "What the hell are you?"

Laxus merely kept the same enraged expression he had entered the battlefield with. "So.. still think it's cool that I have no qualms about hitting girls?"

Gorroro grinned. "Ya kidding? A guy who takes charge without bothering with something so stupid... that's the kind of male fighter I've yearned to face for ages.. and.. I can't pretend your cold hard demeanor doesn't turn me on slightly... you're one hot muscly cookie with that scar.. like a warrior Harry Potter almost."

Laxus didn't take the compliment.. his face stayed frozen in fury. "Let me ask you something Gorroro Serpiente... where are the Sisters?"

"Oh, you mean those stupid clones?" said Gorroro with a shrug. "Who knows and who cares? Szayl Aporro can do what he wants with whatever test subject he gets.. I'm just here wipe out the nuisances who try and get in... not that I don't have fun with it! This is just a treat, running into somebody as strong as you.."

"Hmph.. no wonder they picked you as the 6th replacement." muttered Laxus. "You and Grimmjow are a lot alike."

"I don't know much about Grimmjow.." said Gorroro. "But to tell ya the truth... I'd like to say I'm unique compared to all the schmucks in the world. For one thing... when I really get serious..."

Gorroro suddenly dissapeared  and reapeared behind Laxus faster then anybody could blink. "I'm no pushover.."

Laxus whirled around and a lightning bolt lashed out from his body and exploded through Gorroro like a mirage.

"HA!" said Gorroro who was really standing to Laxus's right. "That was just an afterimage after I used Sonido a second time!! I'm that fast!!"

Gorroro slashed her sword at mind boggling speeds. Right before the blade touched Laxus, he turned into pure lightning that flew through the air and struck right behind Gorroro, resolidifying into Laxus who rammed his fist straight into her back.

There was a vicious blast of lightning, and the punch sent Gorroro flying into the ground with a boom.

Gorroro got out of the rubble casually, popping her neck as she did. "Now here's the problem Laxus Dreyar.. I'm fast.. that's right... but that whole trick ya do with the turning yourself into lightning.. makes ya just as fast...electricity can be a pain in the ass that's for sure."

Laxus just narrowed his eyes as his body began to explode with more power.

"I guess that just means I'm gonna have to go even faster." Said Gorroro as her body began to shimmer and distort.. as if the pure force of speed and kinetic energy was gathering into her body. "Levedad Del Respira.."

Suddenly, there was a sonic boom as Gorroro dashed away, leaving behind a cloud of dust, a blur, and a shockwave.

Laxus stepped back in shock as around him, brief, bullet-like blurs shot past him, going way past the any sort of normal speed.

Laxus's eyes roved around, trying to read the multiple, extremely speedy blurs.. he then engulfed his arm and lightning and brought it up just in time to block a sword slash as Gorroro suddenly appeared above him, barely even making a sound as she did, the speed of her strike only a flashing blur.

"Heh!" Gorroro grinned. "Nice reflexes!!"

Gorroro suddenly dissapeared in another burst of incalculable, unimaginable speed as Laxus lashed out a lightning fist at her..

"It's no use!!" Gorroro's voice shouted out, as her body shot around Laxus, looking like no more then multiple fleeting blurs, invisible to the untrained eye. "My Levedad Del Respira increases the speed of my Sonido, and my regular speed to 5 times my normal level.. and it's already higher then any in the Espada at that level!! You might have good enough reflexes to block.. or even dodge.. but it won't hold out for long!!"

Gorroro began whirling around Laxus at even greater speeds, this time leaving hordes and hordes of afterimages around Laxus.

"What's the matter!? Maybe I could go even faster for you..."

Laxus smiled and slammed his fist against the ground. The moment he did, a massive sphere of yellow lightning exploded out from his body with such vicious force. the the entire room was nearly obscured from view by the brightness of the lightning...

Panther Lilly, who was hiding behind a piece of rubble looking after the barely conscious Gantenbainne, stepped back in amazement. "I almost forgot how strong he is...incredible.."

Gorroro was blasted into the wall like a smoking crackling meteor.. and before she could do anything else, Laxus was already flying at her, engulfed in lightning, like a lightning bolt himself as he rammed his lightning fist right into her face.

He then began ramming his fist into repeatidly, a lightning explosion blasting out each time. He then grabbed her head and threw her into the ground. There was another explosion of lightning and Laxus opened his mouth. "ROAR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

A massive lightning beam blasted out of Laxus's in mouth and blew straight into Gorroro in a burst  of tremendous power.

No sooner had the beam of lightning hit however, when Gorroro was back on her feet, speed blitzing away like an unreadable haze in a clear night.. suddenly slashing multiple bloody gashes into Laxus's torso in mid air.

Laxus gritted his teeth. "Damn your Hierro is tough..." Laxus's body exploded with tremendous lightning and blasted Gorroro back once more, causing the Espada to blast straight into the ground, creating  a massive crater.

Laxus shot down, his body morphing into lightning again as he struck right behind Gorroro and aimed a lightning punch at her.

Gorroro laughed madly and blocked with her sword in a burst of explosive electricity. A shockwave erupted between the blade and the fist as lightning tore scars into the room all around them.

"You're good.." Gorroro exclaimed. "I've always wanted to fight somebody like you! You really are one of Fairy Tail's strongest!! COME ON!! SHOW ME MORE!!!"

"Secret Art: ROARING THUNDER!!!" Laxus's eyes glowed with tremendous power as her rammed his other fist straight into Gorroro's face. Almost the entire floor of the room erupted into rubble as lightning tore through and ripped the place apart.

Gorroro spat out blood as she expoded into the ground.

Gorroro grinned as she hit the ground and held up her hand while rocks were thrown up around her. "Gran.. Rey.. Cero.."

A massive bright violet cero blasted out of Gorroro's hand at close range exploding into Laxus.

Laxus however, brought both his fists together and rammed them down through the cero, engulfed in lightning. "JAWS OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

Laxus's lightning fists tore through the Gran Rey Cero with ease.. however, they only hit rubble as Gorroro suddenly flashed out of the way and then slashed a bloody scar into Laxus's back, using her incredible speed to overcome his reaction time.

"Overcoming my speed by destroying everything around you is good and all!" said Gorroro with a laugh as she flashed away. "But you need to have the power to knock me out in one blow if it's going to be any use!!"

Laxus chuckled. "Ya can stop the act now.."

"ACT!?" Gorroro stopped in her tracks and stared at Laxus. "What the hell are ya talking about!?"

Laxus laughed. "The whole 'I'm tougher then nails' act..ya think I haven't seen Mikoto do it a thousand times? True, ya girls definitely are tougher then nails.. but you seem to be going overboard trying to pretend that's your actual personality...with Mikoto it's more subtle cause that actually is partially her personality.. but you... well.. let's just say.. I could see a bit of moisture in your eyes when you were pretending to think Lilly wasn't cute.. and if you really were as vicious as you say.. you would've cut me up a whole lot more then this.."

"WHAAAAATTT!!!? Gorroro screamed. "LISTEN PAL!!! I'M ESPADA SEIS!!! GORRORO SERPIENTE!!! MY ASPECT OF DEATH IS DESTRUCTION!!! YA HEAR ME? DESTRUCTION!!! I DIDN'T GET THAT THROUGH ACTING!!!"

"Actually, I think ya did.." said Laxus. "You may be a little bit destrutive.. but not as much as you're letting on.. you've got a cute side don't ya?"

Gorroro's jaw dropped with shock and her face went red with embarrassment. "C-cute? C-c-cute!? eh.. eh..N-no!! You're wrong!!! I'm gonna show ya exactly how ruthless and terrifying I can be!!"

Gorroro took her sword and raised it into the air. "STRIKE...VIBORA!!!"

Gorroro's body shimmered with violet light as her pupils suddenly turned to slits.. then a great serpent made of pure energy coiled up around her and exploded... turning extremely bright before it dissapated to reveal Gorroro's Ressureccion form.

Gorroro's snake upper jaw mask fragment's fangs had extended so they extended down her cheeks. a blue scar-like marking went across her left eye.. her sleevless outfit had changed to be more form fitting, now cutting off at her naval and revealing her stomach.. her feet and forearms were now carpace like.. ending in clawed toes and fingers.. A massive white serpent's tails appearing to be at least 20 meters long extended from Gorroro's backside and was whipping around like a cedar-thick whip that smashed the ground around it.. on the tip of the tail was a  large spear point that looked a bit like a rattle snake's rattle.

Two large white king cobra hoods with red eye markings extended from her back like strange wings.

"Nice.." said Laxus. "So that's a Ressureccion form I take it.."

Gorroro grinned mischievously to reveal her teeth were now fanged. "Watch out big boy.. I'm about to put some hurt on ya... COLA VENENO!!!"

Gorroro's tail rose into the air and suddenly pointed it's spear point at Laxus like a scorpion. There was a vicious whistling wind, and the tail shot down at Laxus multiple times like a gattling gun, moving so fast.. that it almost looked as if the the tail was dissapearing and reappearing out of thing air.. the ground around Laxus was torn into pieces as the impact of the tail point rapidly exploded into Laxus's gut.

Laxus hacked up blood in surprise as he was repeatidly battered into the ground, his shirt becoming torn and ripped in the process, and his coat flying off into the wind.

"HOW DO YA LIKE THAT!?" Gorroro screamed with a psychotic smile as she continued her relentless attack. "My tail can move at over 4500 miles per hour at least!! And that's when it's going slow!!! It's max speed is 40,000 miles per hour!! HERE'S A LITTLE TASTE!!!"

The tail suddenly started pelting into Laxus so fast, that it looked like nothing but a tremendous blur as the ground began to shake with power. flames exploded out of the tail.

"SEE!?" said Gorroro. "My tail goes so fast, that it's burning up thanks to air friction.. but that's no big deal.. the Hierro around my tail is strong enough to withstand a Cero Oscuras!! And you haven't even seen the best part of my power yet!!"

Gorroro's tail stopped pelting into the now severely injured Laxus and it whip lashed him straight through the wall of the room where he exploded into a hallway.

Gorroro flashed away and immediately reappeared only 20 meters away from Laxus.. about the length of her tail. "Wow.. you really are a tough one.. nobody should be able to stand after an attack like that."

Laxus wiped some blood from his chin and grinned. "That's because you were holding back.. you don't really have much of killing spirit as others believe you do.."

Gorroro's temple throbbed like a beating heart as her eyes went livid with rage. "OH MY GOD!!! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!! But.. you're already dead.. so no biggie.."

Laxus's eyes widened as he suddenly fell to his knees and started sweating. "Wh-what?"

"My attack just now.. Cola Veneno, allows me to secrete a highly potent venom from the tip of my tail." said Gorroro with a devious smile.  "Your high magic power must have been holding back the potency.. so it's killing you way slower then it would with most people.. but you're going to be dead ev-eventually.. wh-what.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!?"

Laxus was roaring with tremendous might as lightning surrounded his body, and his shirt was torn off to reveal muscles that were bulging bigger and bigger.. his sweat dissapeared as steam exploded off his body..

"NO WAY! YOU'RE IONIZING THE VENOM IN YOUR BLOOD AND BLASTING IT OUT OF THE PORES ON YOUR SKIN!?"  Gorroro screamed, here eyes wide with shock.

Laxus grinned mischievously as his body exploded with tremendous power. "Alright kid.. howabout we get down to business?"

"B-bussiness!?"

Laxus reached into his pants pocket and pulled out... a stuffed Gekota doll.

Gorroro's eyes suddenly became uncharacteristically sparkly as she clasped her hands together excitedly. "EEEEEE!!! It's a cute little stuffed froggy!! I WANT ONE!!"

Gorroro's eyes suddenly froze in shock and her face went red as she suddenly realized what she just said.

"All the final proof I need." said Laxus with a grin. "Come on kid.. you don't have to pretend around to have people think you're strong.."

"STRONG!!!" Gorroro screamed furiously. "I AM STRONG!!! A-AND I HATE FROGGIES!!! THAT'S RIGHT!! NO MATTER HOW CUTE CUDDLY, AND OH SO... so.. cute... they are.. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Gorroro's cobra hoods glowed with an eirie red light. "HAZ VIBORA!!!"

The eyes on the hoods shot out tremendous beams of reddish purplish energy. Laxus puffed up his cheeks. "ROAR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!!"

The tremendous beam of lightning collided with the Haz Vibora in an explosion of energy.. As the energy exploded.. Gorroro suddenly appeared behind Laxus in a flash of speed, her tail pointed at him. "COLA VENEMO!!!"

The tail shot itself at Laxus repeatidly once more.. sizzling with heat from the tremendous speeds it was going at.

But Laxus turned into lightning and and weaved in between the tail strikes somehow.. managing to get close to Gorroro and land a devestating lightning punch into her gut.

"Guh!?" was all Gorroro was able to say as she exclaimed surprise that Laxus was able to avoid her ultimate speed attack.

Laxus grinned as Gorroro fell away from him. "A little trick Mikoto taught me.. use electric signals in the muscles to read an opponents moves.. sadly, I'm not an esper, so I can't calculate to the same degree she does.. but it works well enough.."

Laxus launched himself at Gororro, his body exploding with more lightning. "SWORD HORN OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

"HUELGA DE VIBORA!!!" Gorroro crossed her clawed hands together which turned into two glowing fang-like energy blades. She shot at Laxus with her amazing speed and the two collided in an explosion of lightning and spiritual power.

As the two leapt away from each other, Gorroro shot at Laxus again, lashing out her energy blades and tail point with a speed so great that a hurricane began to whirl up around her body.

Laxus surrounded his body in lightning and miraculously dodged the blows with amazing speeds..

"You may be able to read my muscle movements.. but no way should you be fast enough to dodge me!!" Gorroro screamed. "HOW!!?"

"I've been training hard and long ever since the murder of Mikoto's parents.." said Laxus darkly. "All so that when I finally met the one who caused my student so much pain.. "

Laxus caught both of Gorroro's arms in his hands.. stunning her beyond belief. "THAT I'D BE ABLE TO MASSACRE THAT MURDERING MONSTER MYSELF!!!"

A tremendous lightning blast surrounded the area and Gorroro was blasted back.. Laxus launched himself at her and began landing repeated powerful blows.

"TALONS OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!! IRON FIST OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!! DEMOLITION FIST OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!! JAWS OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!! WING SLASH OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

Gorroro screamed out with surprise as lightning exploded all around her, tearing through her Hierro, cracking her carapace covered forearms and scarring her Cobra Hood and tail.

Laxus finally spread his arms out, and two massive curved fang like lightning blades emerged from his fists. "SECRET ART: GRIPPING BITE OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

Laxus brought both of the electric fangs exploding into Gorroro from either end.. almost as if a dragon was biting into her.

Gorroro screamed and fell into the ground with a booming sound of thunder as Laxus landed on his feet next to her...

"No.. NO!!" Gorroro cried out as she staggered out of the crater... "I'm not done yet!! I stil have my final attack!! THAT'S RIGHT!!!"

Gorroro clasped her hands together. "COPIA DE LA COBRA!!!"

A tremendous light surrounded Gorroro as she smiled deviously. "This ability allows me to copy one ability from my opponent permenantly.. of course I can only use this once every year.. so far, I've only obtained three copied abilities.. including the one I've copied from you just now.. it doesn't matter whether it's an esper ability, magic, or spiritual power.. my reitsu has the unique strength of altering itself to mimic the other energies and powers required to use the abilities I copy.."

Gorroro's eyes glowed as a tremendous golden light emerged in between her hands. "And it just so happens I found the perfect spell in your head that would take ya out for good!"

Laxus's eyes widened in shock. "Th-that can't be.. stop!! You don't know how to properly control that spell yet!! There's no telling what it could do to you!!"

Gorroro grinned. "The spell that takes out everyone I consider an enemy..one of the 4 mega spells of your guild.. (It became 4 instead of 3 ever since the invention of Fairy Thunder)."

Gorroro's body gave one final glow. "FAIRY LAW!!!"

A massive explosive golden light engulfed the entire room and then moved outwards throughout that part of Las Noches.. engulfing over 500 kilometers of the are....

When the light cleared however... Laxus was still standing.. in fact.. other then some damage to the room.. relatively nothing had happened at all.."

Gorroro blinked. "E-eh.. wh-why!?"

"Cause." said Laxus. "You don't really consider anyone an enemy.. like I said, you've been acting this whole time.."

Gorroro looked like she was about to argue back.. then she fell to her knees and started crying as her Ressureccion form dissapeared in a burst of light. "WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!!"

Laxus blinked in surprise. "E-eh.. you don't need to cry... h-hey.. oi.... "

"I'M A FAILURE AS AN ESPADA!!!" cried Gorroro. "I LIKE CUTE THINGS!! I LOVE KITTIES!!! I DON'T HAVE A STOMACH FOR KILLING!!! AND I LISTEN TO MIKU HATSUNE WHENEVER YAMMY ISN'T LOOKING!!!"

"What are you doing Laxus!?" Panther Lilly had just flown into the scene. "Did you make her cry!?"

"I-I didn't mean too.." Laxus muttered with a bewildered expression. "She just kinda.. started..."

Gantenbainne was staring out of the hole in the wall with a bemused expression. "Th-this is the real Gorroro? I'm confused..."

"Hurry up and hug her or something!" Lilly exclaimed.

"What!?" Laxus said. "I'm not gonna do that!"

"Well you're the one who made her cry!" said Lilly. "Is there no sense of chivalry in you Laxus?!"

Laxus sighed. "Aw crap.."

Laxus walked over to Gorroro and knealt next to her.. and then he nervously hugged her, patting her on the back.. "Er.. there there.. it's okay.."

"IT'S NOT OKAY!!!"

"I-it is... er here.. I was going to give it to Mikoto, but I'm sure she won't mind.."

Laxus took the Gekota from his pocket and handed it to Gorroro, who took it and began hugging it. "F-froggy.."

Gorroro went silent and stared up at Laxus until she went furiously red. "E-er...just go.. GO ALREADY!! It's not because I like you.. okay.. it's.. just.. you've earned my respect.. yeah!!! so I'm letting you go.."

Laxus grinned. "You're letting me go?"

Gorroro punched her own head furiously. "GRRRRRRR!!! Just take it or leave it!!! A-and I'm coming with you.."

Laxus raised an eyebrow. "You want to come with me?"

"Yep!"

"No.."

Gorroro's jaw dropped as Laxus got up and began walking away. "NO!?"

Laxus waved farewell to Gorroro and kept on walking..

Gorroro's temple began to throb in anger again. "FORGET IT!!! YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE!!! I'M COMING WITH YA!! AND I'M GOING TO GIVE YA A FREAKING HAND WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!! I NEVER LIKED THE ESPADA ANYWAYS!!!"

Laxus sighed. "Fine..just don't expect me to bail ya out of trouble.."

Gorroro screamed so loudly that Panther Lilly covered his ears in fear. "YOU'RE.. A FREAKING... MORON!!!"
