When Mikoto imagined what Asgawrath must've looked like, she always figure he'd be grotesque or inhuman beyond measure, just like the other Fallen Angels who took the forms of decayed monsters, animals, spirits..

But if Asgawrath hadn't been an allpowerful demon lord.. he would've attracted every girl in the world like a beehive.

Asgawrath stepped forward, Mikoto now noticed he was barefoot.. his raven wings stretched out like he was waking up from a long long nap..

Asgawrath smiled as he looked at himself.. his beautiful pale skin was breath taking to look at. "How wonderous... that I should be able to walk around in my physical form once more...Zero.. you have my thanks for delaying Lady Misaka.."

"Yes master Asgawrath.." murmured Zero.

Mikoto narrowed her eyes. Something wasn't right.. Asgawrath had never called her 'Lady Misaka' before.. he had always belittled her, laughed at her.. toyed with her.. but never had he shown any respect.

"Perhaps.. my form unnerves you?" said Asgawrath. "You see, in the Nether World.. my power was so free to wander, that I was spread out everywhere.. taking the form of dark eyes that watch ever more within the darkness of the Nether World... but things are different in the physical realm, when an Angel.. or in my case.. a fallen Angel.. enters the physical world.. we must condense all our power into one form.. which takes time.. and a dimensional gate with enough power to do so.. that's why I took much more time to come through the Ark.. I needed the time to manifest.. and condense my massive power.."

Mikoto tried to move.. but she couldn't.. she could barely even speak.. Asgwrath's power was so incredible.. he was immobilizing her without any effort.

"I apologize for restricting your movement.." said Asgawrath. "I don't want you attacking me just yet. Not quite yet.. Lady Misaka..."

Asgawrath spread out his arms. "Let me ask you.. Lady Misaka.. does my form please you?"

"Why would you ask that?" Mikoto asked.

"It's a simple question." said Asgawrath. "I find back in the days before I fell.. females of all races desired me within their deepest of hearts.. I understand I have a certain attractiveness about my form.. not something I find particulary of consequence.. but I do find it amusing.. at least I used to.. until their was one particular female I wished to please."

Asgawrath walked closer to Mikoto. "You're.. the most interesting creature I've ever come across.. Mikoto Misaka.."

"What are you trying to get at?" Mikoto asked.. sweat running down her face.. "What do you want? This looks like more then just an ambition to get some stinking lance out of me.."

Asgawrath let out a small laugh.. it was a laugh that was full of evil.. and yet full of pleasurable humor.. he walked over to Mikoto and touched a finger to her cheek.

Mikoto shivered at the touch.. with that finger.. Asgawrath could destroy the entire planet with little to no effort at all... with that finger.. he could black out a thousand suns.. with that finger.. he could delete Mikoto's very existance even more absolute and sudden then Zero's Genesis Zero.

Asgawrath smiled again as he watched Mikoto quiver beneath his deadly touch. "You've interested me from the moment you destroyed Dravis.. my pet creation. I thought.. when I saw you.. why.. how could a mere human defeat  the Lord of Destruction? How could little Electromaster Mikoto Misaka...done such a thing?"

Asgawrath laughed again. "Imagine my surprise.. when I found out you were the reincarnation of Fulguras.. the Lance of Gungnir I had desired to wrench from my rival Supremos.. for so long, the girl whom I had instructed Aleister to ensure was born.. had actually been born! I never even thought Aleister would succeed..but he did! I then felt the revival of my plans come forth.. the renewed opportunity to come and rule this Omegaverse... to become God myself!! And for a moment.. I thought of you as nothing but a tool... a mere Numensapien.. who had become an even weaker punier human... you were just a hammer I would use to knock in a pesky nail..."

"But.." said Asgawrath as he began to stroke Mikoto's cheek. "No matter how many terrors I threw at you.. no matter how many atrocities I put you through.. somehow.. somehow you pulled through.. I began to wonder.. to wonder how an insignificant insect like yourself could be so strong!"

"I'm not strong.." Mikoto said.. shivering in both fear and determination not to break down. "My family.. Fairy Tail is always with me.. that's where my strength comes from.."

"No no no!!" Asgawrath shook his head. "Dear girl.. you sell yourself short... you yourself have a strange will that I have never seen in any human but your friend.. Natsu Dragneel... soon.. I began to see you as more then just a tool..."

Asgawrath leered at Mikoto.. he let his hand brush down from Mikoto's cheek all the way down her neck.. and slowly towards her collar bone..

Somehow Mikoto found the strength to break away... "STOP!!" Mikoto wrenched Asgawrath's arm aside and stepped back.. never had she been more afraid of this monster then she had been before he started to reveal his newfound feelings..

"Don't you see Lady Misaka?" said Asgawrath.. "You and I.. we aren't so unlike.. we are two sides of the same coin.. I am darkness.. you are the light.. we were destined to face each other.. and perhaps destined to join together... you and I.. we could have everything.. with you as my Lance.. and me as this world's ruler.. I could grant you anything.. anything at all.."

"Why would you offer me this!!?" Mikoto screamed. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PLAYING AT!?"

Asgawrath chuckled again. "Don't you see? For the first time in over 100,000,000 years.. I've fallen in love with a mortal girl."

Mikoto tried to say something.. but couldn't.. she could only stare in absolute shock at Asgawrath. Finally she got out a few words. "You... wha... FREAKING GEKOTAS WHAT!!?"

Asgawrath laughed again and the entire sky turned pitch black, then red.. and then black.. and red again in time with his laughter.. they world shook and trembled..."The last human girl who I fell for.. Ezsthra was her name...I couldn't believe it myself.. I who thought all human beings inferior.. but you're different from her... When you become the Lance.. you shall become immortal like I... I could give anything.. and everything.. forever.. to the end of neverending time.."

"You take whatever you want to give me.. and shove it down your throat.." Mikoto growled.

"I see.." said Asgawrath closing his eyes.. he then reopened them.. this time.. they had a frightening erie look in them.. a look so terribly inhuman.. that it was as if Mikoto had been thrust straight into a horror movie.

"Well then.." said Asgawrath.. "I see what still keeps you from embracing the offer of an immortal.. your friends.. Fairy Tail.. they are the reason.. they hold you back.. therefore.. so that you can see the logic of my offer, I will kill each and every last one of them..."

No sooner had Asgawrath said this.. when Mikoto screamed with fury and launched herself at him.. her body engulfed with tremendous lightning, ramming her fist in Asgawrath's face.. the fist connected with the side of Asgawrath's jaw in a massive explosion of lightning..

But Asgawrath did not flinch.. he did not even budge.. his eyes roved over to the fist that was smoking against his face. "A mere mortal.. attack a god.. see..? Just one of the things I find riveting about you.."

If Touma had said something similar like that to her.. Mikoto would've blushed and gone completely shy.. but as it was Asgawrath.. and his eyes were terrible to behold... All Mikoto could do was scream with more fury and lash out a set of more powerful punches all over Asgawrath's body.. but all Asgawrath did was stand there and take every single blow.. as if he were a solid brick wall, and Mikoto was a stuffed animal.

"You can keep attacking me all you like.." Asgawrath said. "But all you will succeed in doing is giving me a slightly irritable itch..."

Mikoto screamed even more furiously and lashed her hand over her face, summoning her hollow mask.

"Oh? using a hollow's power now?" said Asgawrath twitching his head with interest. "You already summoned it once against Zero.. it'll weaken you...don't overdo it.."

Mikoto ignored Asgawrath.. letting out another set of collosal lightning punches... a few minutes later.. her mask shattered and Mikoto fell to her knees panting...

"I don't wish to hurt you.." said Asgawrath.. "Trust me.. once they're all gone.. you'll see how much better off you are..."

Asgawrath walked past Mikoto, bringing with him so much raw power.. that Mikoto wondered how she ever stood up in the first place..

In Mikoto's head.. there was a fierce panicked dialogue going on..

He's going to kill them.. he's going to kill them... he's going to kill them..

HEY!! Queen!!! Ya gonna let that lover boy psycho mess with your head? Cause I ain't letting a freaking turd like that tell us what to do are ya?

HE'S GOING TO KILL THEM!!!

Heh.. you're pathetic.. what would you be.. without me.. your good ol' instincts....

"Stay.. away.. from them.."

Asgawrath turned. "You would do better not to interfere.."

"I said.." Mikoto growled as she stood up, her skin turning white.. claws forming on her hands as a half black and half white mask formed over her face.. STAY AWAY... FROM MY FAMILY!!!!!"

Mikoto's mind broke as her wings turned black and horns grew out.. her entire body exploding into Vasto Lorde form in an explosion of powerful black lightning..

Vasto Lorde Mikoto roared like a vicious animal as it charged Asgawrath.. only desiring one thing.. to devour all in it's path..

The monster exploded into Asgawrath.. and an explosion of black lightning tore itself into the sky combined with a tremendous Cero Oscuros...

But suddenly, the Cero Oscuros stopped.. Mikoto fell away from Asgawrath.. her horns and mask shattering.. her hollow hole closing up as her body returned to normal.. her clothes partially shredded...

"I told you.. I didn't want to hurt you.. You are my lance after all." said Asgawrath

Mikoto fell on her back.. she tried to get up shakily. "No... no..."

Mikoto stared at the Ark.. she had to destroy it.. it was the only way...

Asgawrath suddenly had a pained expression... "My time.. is running out.. this body can only last for so many months.. it appears... that before I can kill your friends properly.. I must turn you into the lance first..."

Asgawrath smiled as he knealt next to Mikoto. "you're probably wondering.. why? Well.. think of a nuclear reactor.. made of paper.. all that power.. with a vessel too weak to contain it... the physical body of a Fallen Angel is the power of the angel in question compressed into a tangible form.. but the power I have.. is too much for my compressed form... I need something powerful.. a powerful something to keep me compressed.. like a certain lance... Cause you see.. as long as I'm not fully compressed... like now.. I can't use my full power...

Asgawrath held up a hand over Mikoto's face to show that it was switching from a transparent to solid and back to transparent.. "I'm weak right now.. I can't even destroy this planet.. right now.. you could say I'm slightly less powerful then my old creation, Dravis... meaning I'm only at 30%. that also means that my powers are leaking out of this body and into the Ark.. that breaking it would ban me from Japan as well.. funnily enough, for reasons I can't yet say.. I need Academy City to be mine if you are to become the lance and to fully take on the Omegaverse... but once you're my lance.."

Asgawrath touched a hand to Mikoto's forehead. "I'll rule the entire Omegaverse outright..."

"Over my dead body.." said a voice.

Natsu Dragneel grappled Asgawrath from behind, his body engulfed in flames. "YOU GET YOUR FREAKING DEMON HANDS AWAY FROM HER!!!!"

"NATSU!!" Mikoto screamed.

Asgawrath stood up with ease and threw Natsu over his shoulder and down in front of him, then grabbing Natsu's throat and holding him up high. "I was going to kill you anyways.. boy.. I guess you get an early start.. I always considered you an unpredictable variable... I guess it is best that you die first...

"LET HIM GO!!!"

Asgawrath turned his head towards Mikoto.. and saw Mikoto had a large large shard of broken glass in her hands.. and was pointing it at her chest...

"What are you doing?" said Asgawrath.. his eyes wide..

"You said you fell for me.. right?" said Mikoto. "Well prove it.. let him go.. or I kill myself right here.."

"D-don't!!" Natsu choked. "Get out of here!!"

Asgawrath stared at Mikoto curiously. "What's to prevent me from merely having Ulquiorra bring you back as he did Zero, Charles, and the Espada?"

"They wanted to come back.." Mikoto said.. this much she was sure of. "The truly dead will always stay with the dead... and that's how I'll be.. you'll never have your lance.. my soul won't be in the right conditions for you tor retrieve it..."

Asgawrath held out a hand.. probably to use his power to immobilize Mikoto..but as he did, his hand rippled and began dissapating... "I can't control you.. why?"

Asgawrath's eyes widened.. as he saw a long haired small girl behind Mikoto.. this time visible only to him.. "Mavis...you avert my control..."

"LET HIM GO!!!" Mikoto yelled.

Asgawrath let go of Natsu who fell to the floor... gasping..

Mikoto and Natsu's eyes met..

"Don't do it.." Natsu murmured, reading Mikoto's expression. "DON'T!!"

"Go.." Said Mikoto. She knew.. it was the only way.. the only thing that would allow Natsu to reach the Ark..

"DON'T!!"

"Sorry Natsu.."

Mikoto stabbed herself with the shard of glass...

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Both Natsu and Asgawrath yelled out at the same time.. but Asgawrath's yell drowned out Natsu's, shaking the entire city... as the sky turned dark with furboding...

As Asgawrath roared with a terrible cry, kneeling over the bleeding Mikoto, Natsu ran as fast as he could towards the Ark..

Too late.. Asgawrath turned his head and saw Natsu close a hand around the statue.. engulfing it in flames and breaking it into ashes...

"YOU!!!!!" Asgawrath just enough time to say.. before there was a terrible explosion of frightening wind... Asgawrath's body suddenly dissapated into a black shockwave that shot up into the sky like a meteor...

All around Academy City.. the same thing was happening.. 4 other similar energy waves shot into the sky.. as the 4 immortal demon lords were also banished from Japan... it was over.. they had won...

Had they?

Natsu scrambled over to Mikoto. "MIKOTO MIKOTO!!!" Natsu watched as Mikoto fell unconscious, mortally wounded. "NO.. no... NOOOOO!!! Stay with me.. stay with me!!!"

As this went on.. Zero stood from where he watched and chuckled. "Well.. I hope Asgawrath learns to depend less on silly lances... Zero snapped his fingers and a Garganta appeared behind him.. letting him step through into Hueco Mundo.. before the gae closed...

Back a distance aways.. Gildarts and Charles Stuart stood before each other..both of them trembling with tremendous power... both looked quite bruised. Charles looked up at the sky. "Looks like we'll have to finish this another day..."

Gildarts narrowed his eyes. "Running?"

"Call it a tactical retreat.." said Charles. "Oh... and tell my son Eolas.. that the true Lion is back.. and will see him and his sister soon..."

A Garganta appeared behind Charles.. within the Garganta.. Ulquiorra could be seen..

"Don't draw out your fights too long next time.." said Ulquiorra. "We're short handed as it is.."

"Yeah.. yeah.." said Charles waving his hand as the Garganta closed before him.. and he dissapeared into the world of hollows..

Gildarts stared at the empty space where the Garganta had been.. why.. why did he get the feeling.. that this was only the beginning?

"GILDARTS!!!"

Gildarts turned and his eyes widened in fear as he saw Natsu carriying Mikoto, blood running down his arms from Mikoto's body.. "HELP HER!!!"

As Mikoto fell in and out of consciousness.. all she could hear.. was the voice.. shouting..

"SOMEBODY HELP HER!!!"

 The young, small, Fulguras looked at the brilliant building before her as she held the hand of of her mother Amor.

"Mommy? Are we going to live there?"

"Yes Sweetie.." said Amor with a bright smile. "Here you can grow nice and healthy.."

"I won't be sick anymore?"

Amor nodded. "Nope.. you'll grow big and strong.."

Amor knealt down so she was at Fulguras's eye level as several assorted Numensapiens began walking in.. bringing in furniture.. and other assorted objects...

"Fulgy.. someday.. you're going to have to make a lot of choices without me.. and you'll have to be the one to decide how to best help your health.. your friends.. and your family..." said Amor. "I just want you to know that..."

"But how I know what choice to make mommy?"

Amor smiled and put a hand on Fulguras's chest. "You'll know.. in there.. it might sound a bit cliche.. but it's true.."

"My lungs will tell me?"

Amor let out a musical laugh. "Not quite... don't worry.. you'll get my drift when you get older.."

Mikoto's eyes opened.. she was in a hospital bed... next to her was a heart monitor. Mikoto twitched around a bit.. breathing steadily..

She felt.. soft.. comfortable.. she could feel bandages on her chest.. and her lungs felt newer then usual.. as if they had been repaired by magic.. (and they probably were)

Mikoto looked around her.. Lucy was sitting next to the bed.. holding her hand. "Hey.. how're you feeling?"

"Like I got ran over my a million rhinos and was forced to play Outlast in a real insane asylum." said Mikoto. "How am I even alive?"

"She came.." said Lucy nodding at the other side of Mikoto's bed. "Natsu said that she healed as much of your wounds as she could.."

Mikoto turned and was shocked to see Amor there..she was snoozing soundly, her head on Mikoto's bedside, her hand holding Mikoto's.. how had she not noticed that?

"Funny huh?" said Lucy. "You have 3 moms now.."

"The demons.." Mikoto said. "Are they..?"

Lucy nodded. "They can't get into Japan anymore.. their permission was revoked when you and Natsu destroyed that Ark thing. Asgawrath won't be able to get to you as long as you stay in Japan.. and considering that the Rainbow Gateway is in Japan.. they won't be able to get to Fiore either.. turns out Asgawrath was depending on the Lance to let him travel between universes once he became physical.. at least that's what the Head Soul Reaper Captain said..... "

"That Yamamoto guy is here?" Mikoto muttered. "Why?"

"Turns out, they managed to wake up Angelus's soul.." said Lucy with a shrug. "It's going to be interesting to see what he has to say about all of this... by the way.. on a lighter note.. turns out Fairy Tail won the Festival.. overtook Mad Telepath by one point...

Mikoto sighed, she looked at the tellivision, which was currently displaying a report of the entire situation.. and how Academy City was undergoing extreme repairs with help from the Magic Council. "I'm glad.. except.. what's Esgaroth going to do to his guild about the loss?"

"Oh don't worry." said Lucy. "Esgaroth fled his own guild... he's completely dissapeared.."

"Really?" said Mikoto.. "That's strange.. I wonder-"

"And in other news.." said the reporter on the telivision. "I just got a bulletin now saying that Mad Telepath just figured out their guild master is missing only 2 minutes ago.. if you have any information-"

Mikoto froze.. wide eyed. She looked at Lucy. "How.. did you know that Mad Telepath's Guild Master was missing before his own guild?"

Lucy's eyes turned pitch black as she gave Mikoto a demonic smile. "Tricked ya..."

Lucy's arms turned burned as her body turned into that of the demonic Baraqiel, grabbing Mikoto's throat, preparing to choke her.

"Y-you.." Mikoto choked. "How? You can't.."

"I'm a trickster Lance Maiden.." said Baraqiel. "Unlike the others.. I'm able to find certain loopholes that allow me to stay in a restricted area for around 4 hours or more... I don't have much time left.. even now, I can feel the residual Ark magic pulling me out of Japan... but... BUT... I still have enough time.. to kill you.."

"Yo-you.. your master needs me..."

"YOU HONESTLY THINK I CARE ABOUT THAT!?" Baraqiel roared. "Oh no.. all I ever wanted.. was to hear your cries of terror, to torture you slowly... to break you.. and now.. I have that-AAACCCKK!!!!"

A rainbow beam of light exploded through Baraqiel's chest... Amor was awake.. her eyes livid with rage.

"My.. guess you rats are harder to stomp out then I thought.." said Amor. "But don't worry.. before you go.. I'll be sure to make you squeal for mercy."

"Don't count on it.." Baraqiel growled.. before there was a black shockwave.. and Baraqiel dissapeared from Japan...

Amor hugged Mikoto as she tried to regain her breath.. "It's okay.. he's gone.. you're safe now.."

"Am I?" Mikoto muttered. "He's still out there..Amor.. he's still out there.."

Amor's eyes suddenly looked downcast.. at the mention of the name Amor.. she seemed to lose a bit of herself. "Yes.. well.. there's nothing to worry of now..and you called me Amor... "

"Well.. yeah.. that's your name right?"

"Yes... of course.. how silly of me.." said Amor with a fake smile. "Well.. since you're well... I think I will leave to it..."

Mikoto suddenly cursed herself in her head for being so darn stupid, before Amor could leave, Mikoto grabbed her hand. "Wait..."

"Y-yes?"

"Thank you... Mom.."

Amor's eyes went wide.. and several tears travelled down her beautiful face. "Wh-what did you just call me?"

"I called you Mom.." said Mikoto with a small smile. "Is that okay?"

Amor smiled joyfully, wiping a tear from her eye as she did. "Yes.. I suppose it's okay."

The closing day for the Power Development Festival was held one day later due to the need for repairs. Funny enough, while the repairs with magic and all of Academy City's advanced tech was supposed to take around a week (An impressive feat). A certain god-like harlequinn, had gone in and repaired everything to how it originally was over night.. with one change... in the area where the ruins for the Windowless Building used to be... there was a giant familiar masked Harlequinn head shaped building with a sign over it saying. "THE ULTIMATE STORE FOR TROLLS!!"

In any case.. The parade with Fairy Tail at it's head, was around 2 hours long... which was followed by an entire day full of games, rides.. the Bon Fire Folk Dance that had been a tradition of the Daihaseisai for years, where Natsu and Lucy danced for a bit before Natsu got hungry and ate the entire bon fire.

Mikoto didn't join much in the festivities though.. she felt like she needed some quiet. So instead she spent the entire day sitting in the park with Touma.. the two of them didn't speak.. they just sat there.. pleased to be out of the lime light and action for once...

"So.." said Touma once the sun had set. "Did you hear? Rhode's the new guild master of Mad Telepath."

"Rhode?" said Mikoto. "Well that's good I guess.. he seems less stuck up then the rest of his guild.."

"Anyways." said Touma. "He's been talking with Gramps about how to run his guild.. thinking about doing a more comrade and family based policy then Esgaroth's military regime.."

Mikoto smiled. "I take that back.. that's REALLY good.."

For a moment.. there was only silence.. then...

"MIKOTO!!!" Amor jumped out of the bushes behind the bench, her eys looking sparkly.

"EHHHHH!!!!?" Both Touma and Mikoto nearly fell off the bench as Amor jumped in between them and began pinching Mikoto's cheeks.

"OHHHHH!!! YOU'RE SO CUTE!!!" Amor squealed. "MY LITTLE MICKY!!! YESH YOU ARE!! YESH YOU ARE!!!!"

"M-Mom.. what are you doing here!?" Mikoto exclaimed.

"Well.." said Amor, her eyes still sparkling. "I thought I'd drop by with another present I got for you from dimension 567!! It was such a fun dimension too!! Everyone were ninjas!! And there was some weird blonde ninja who was such a knucklehead but kept on saying 'I'm gonna be Hokage!' whatever that means.. but I found something there I really think you'd enjoy!!"

Amor forced a set of cat ears onto Mikoto's head. "These ones only come off when the moon is full!! Lucky there's a full moon 3 days from now~!!"

Mikoto's jaw dropped in horror as Touma started to blush.

"But.." said Amor. "I might be able to take them off for you.. if you do me one favor.."

"Wh-what?"

"Meow for me.." said Amor. "PLEEEAAAASE!!!! My little Micky!!!!"

Mikoto went furiously red. She looked at Touma.. then she looked at Amor. She was about to say no way, and that she would wear a hat for three days.. but then.. as she looked into Amor's sparkling eyes... she gulped... and took a deep breath...

Oh God in heaven..Mikoto prayed... please let nobody else know of what has transpired on this day... please...

"M-meow..."
