The door burst open and in walked Jimin with some files in his hands. He dropped the files on the table and dragged a chair near her and sat on it "these are the information about that house" he said and she picked them up 

She started going through the files and Jimin did too but something disturbed her from being near him. She used to work beside him just like this when they were in a relationship. She looked at him who was focused on reading the files

"Is their something on my face?" He asked looking at her and their eyes locked, she felt like her breath was sucked out of her and he felt the same. She let out and awkward cough and turned her attention on the files. Focus Lim Ju-kyung. Focus

Her eyes were running through the words but still she couldn't get the information into her head. She glanced back at Jimin who was looking at the file, her eyes ran from his beautiful eyes to his nose to his plump lips. Oh he looked so perfect wearing the blue leather Jacket 

"I'm sorry" Jimin suddenly said breaking her from her trance

"Huh?" She asked not really getting what he said. Jimin let out a sigh and looked at her placing the file on the table 

"I'm sorry Julie, for everything  I messed up big and I know nothing can be fixed again" he said and Julie looked at her fingers. Her heart broke yet again remembering the events that happened six months ago "but can we be friends?" He asked innocently 

She looked at him and saw the sincerity in his eyes "I know you can't forgive me and I'm not asking for forgiveness, I just want to be your friend cause I missed you" he said and she sighed. She fiddled with her fingers 

Maybe it was time she moves on with stuff, nothing can be changed. Maybe they were not meant to eachother. Maybe they were supposed to stay as friends and just like that she nodded at him "okay I guess" she replied softly and he couldn't believe what he heard

"What?" He asked again making her chuckle a bit "Okay, we can be friends" she said again and a big smile crossed his face 

"I promise you Julie, I will be loyal to you" he said and she smiled. Maybe they didn't work well as a couple but they would surely get along as friends 

"Back to work we have a lot to do" she said and he nodded, the both started going through the files and they couldn't ignore their thumping hearts. They were happy that they accepted eachother after these months

Suddenly Jimin gasped and placed his file infront of her, she frowned and read it. It was an old newspaper in the 19s. The both looked at eachother and put their attention on the paper

"Wow" Jimin exclaimed and looked at Julie who also had a shocked expression on her face. "Finally we are having some information about the house" she said and circles the important parts in the paper

"The old lee couples body was found in the temple and they had iron sticks in their necks and it is familiar with what happened to the two young boys of the friend group" she said and he nodded

"Then the youngest son body was found in the river, and The kid named Lisa was found dead in the river" Jimin said and Julie sighed

"I told you, their spirits killed the kids" she mumbled and Jimin took another old paper out of a file and they started reading it

"So the spirits have been killing the people who stays in the house?" He asks and she nodded. She takes another old paper out of the file but the letter were faded and the paper was worn out. Only the date was visible "July 22nd 1990" she says and suddenly the door burst opens and a girl enters

"Jisoo?" Jimin looks at a panting girl who was kneeling on the floor, right after her entrance comes hoseok. He looked breathless too 

"I tried to stop her but she's too fast" he said and sat on the couch while trying to take deep breaths

"U-Unnie K-Kai....someone pulled Kai out of his room" she said and tears ran down her eyes. Julie immediately ran towards her and crouched at her level

"What do you mean?" She asked cupping her face and wiping her tears 

"Unnie me and K-Kai were in a video call, I-I saw someone standing behind him and then- then it just v-vanished and the next secind he was pulled out by something, U-Unnie please do something" she said and shook her shoulder

"Hoseok get the jeep, Jimin call Yoongi we have to leave to Kai's house. Now!!" She said and grabbed her coat from her chair and walked out of the office. She stopped infront of a lady

"Soojin, please take the girl in my office and keep her safe" she said and the girl immediately went to work

The squad quickly got into the Jeep and set off to Kai's house "what happened?" A clueless Yoongi asked the trio

"I think the worst is happening" she said confusing the boys "apparently Kai and Jisoo stayed in the Masion that night when their friends were killed but luckily they got away, but the spirit didn't leave them. They are following them like a shadow,  so basically these two are the next target. It will not stop till it kills them" she said and cold shivers ran down all their spines

"I still can't believe the fact that ghosts did it" Hoseok mumbled under his breath and parked the car right infront of Kai's mansion. They quickly got off and ran in pushing through the large gates. They reached the door and rang the bell but none opened the door 

"This would not work" Yoongi said and started kicking the door trying to break it open "move" they heard Hoseok yell and they did move. Hoseok shot the lock and the door the lock immediately broke

The four barged into the house and stopped on their tracks and looked around the place. Everything was destroyed,  the white curtains were on the ground. Pieces of glass shattered around the place. They immediately ran forward in search of the boy 

"Kai!!" Julie screamed and looked around pushing the glass around the places

"OVER HERE!!" Jimin screamed near the stairs and they ran towards the direction. Julie immediately crouched near the unconscious boy who was on the ground near the stairs with a pool of blood around him

"Is he alive?" She asks and Jimin nodded "call the ambulance" she said but Jimin shook his head as a no

"They would take time to come here, we gotta be quick. He has lost a lot blood" Jimin said and hoseok and Yoongi immediately carried Kai and started taking him towards their jeep

"Take him to the hospital and update us about his condition" Jimin yelled and they nodded "let's search around the place" Jimin took his gun out and they both started walking upstairs where they believed was the place where the bedrooms were

"It's so cold in here" she mutters and Jimin agrees. It was noon and the sun was scorching hot outside. They walked into the first room and loiked around. The bed looked messy and the room was stinking like dead meat

She spotted a phone on the bed and picked it up "It's Kai's" she said, the phone was still on the video call. She looked at herself in the call and she squinted her eyes when she saw someone walk past the door behind her

She immediately turned and looked at the door. Jimin slowly walked towards her and leaned onto her ear"what is it?" He asked and she gulped her saliva and looked at him

"I saw someone walking to the right side" she whispered and Jimin immediately tried to walk to that direction but Julie quickly held his hand

"I think we should leave, this doesn't feel right" she said but Jimin ignored her and walks out of the room and turns to her right side. He takes slow steps and walks towards the door on the right and opens it but noone was inside so he walks forward

He opens another door but noone was inside so he walks toqards the final door. He positions himself and grips his gun tighter and opens the door but noone was inside. He looks behind him and spotted Julie and shook his head at her "there's no one" he said but Julie was rooted to the ground

"B-Behind y-you" she says and pointed behind him, he slowly turns around but there was no one "stop playing Julie, there is no one" he says but he didnt know that he couldn't see spirits. Julie can clearly see a ghost standing right infront of Jimin while he was rambling that there was no ghost

"J-Jimin get back or you'll kiss the ghost unintentionally" she said and Jimin immediately walked towards her with a frustrated expression

"I'll call our team here" he said and skips down the stairs leaving her alone on the top floor. She stares at the ghost who was glaring at her. Her heart was beating in her chest. She was scared and she felt cold. She felt like she was suffocating 

The same feeling she got 2 years ago ran into her, her breathing was slowling down and her breath came out as white clouds because of the cold she was feeling. She watched as the ghost floated towards her. It's disgusting face right infront if her

And her heart stopped beating, she fell on the floor unconscious
