Katie's POV

We start to head up but a few minutes later we run into some empousa, me and Travis  get into our positions and when we start fighting it feels like we're meant to fight together!

He blocks all their attacks and I attack them, we take all 4 down and continue on. We finally reach the mountain but the big problem now is the drakon! Travis looks pretty nervous too.

While heading up to the mountain, I spot something and have to stop myself from screaming! It's a cyclops! I've always had a big fear ever since I was a kid, I don't know why but I've never gotten over it. After the whole thing with Thalia, Annabeth and Luke, it left everyone in Camp a bit shaken, even still now!

Travis spots it too and flinches, hopefully it doesn't see us, today was surprisingly going really well!

Apparently our luck has ran out, because one of us accidentally stepped on a twig and the cyclops spun round before we could even move a muscle. He charges towards us and me and Travis run for our lives! Oh no, I can't help thinking, this is it, we're done for!

Travis and I grab our weapons and try to defend ourselves, but it's no use! Just then, Travis screams a cry of rage and is encased in a strange, magical glow, it's the blessing of Hermes!

He charges fearlessly toward the deadly beast and within seconds there is only a pile of gold dust on the floor, the monster sent back to Tartarus, where is belongs!

We reach the top of the mountain and slowly approach it it starts to catch our scent and it starts to circle around. We approach it slowly and start to look for its weak spots. 'Dam' (😉) I wish Clarisse was here!

We get closer and the drakon turns and looks straight at us. Oh no! I thought, But I didn't have time to think because it charges right at us. Me and Travis get our weapons ready and start attacking. We fight for a good 10 minutes non-stop and right before we kill it everything goes wrong!
