Heavy breathing was heard in the secret lair of one of the Legendary Leaf Sanin, Lord Orochimaru. Uchiha Kiyomi, 12, ran through the halls tired from taking many turns and from running for so long. "Kiyomi~" She got chills when she heard Orochimaru's voice echoing close behind her.

No, no, no, no! I can't get caught! She ran panting, even more, she had given up on trying to stay quiet and just let herself breathe hard and let her footsteps sound loud.

"You run too slow, Kiyomi!" Orochimaru exclaimed as a snake grabbed her by the foot and held her upside down. "No!" She yelled at him as Orochimaru got closer to her.

"I won." Orochimaru said smugly while grinning as the Uchiha crossed her arms, still upside down. "We haven't played tag since I was like 6, I'm just rusty that's all! Plus, what kind of 12-year-old plays tag?!" Kiyomi exclaimed trying to get out of the situation that she lost.

"Sure your rusty, Kiyo." Kabuto said walking up behind her. She attempted to turn her head around to look at Kabuto. "Hn. Now put me down!" Orochimaru chuckled as she flipped her over and placed her on the floor.

"So! Kabuto, whatcha making for dinner tonight?" She asked, no longer sore that she had lost. "Me? Isn't it your day to cook?" He asked her. She chuckled, "But I'm sure Orochimaru here will let me pass, right?!" Kiyomi exclaimed looking at her father figure.

"Kabuto, I'm sure you can cook for two day's in a row." Kabuto frowned. "Ha! I'm his favorite!" "And Kiyomi can do all the chores meanwhile." Kiyomi frowned and depression marks appeared over her head. "I thought I was your favorite... Fine, I'll make the food..."

She walked glumly to the kitchen to grab the vegetables for the miso soup. Kiyomi wasn't like most Uchiha who were emotionless all the time, but she could be. She could be the scariest Uchiha you have ever meet sometimes. She's like a wolf in sheep's clothing. A pretty, innocent girl on the outside but pretty rude and coldhearted on the inside.

Kiyomi was raised by Orochimaru after Orochimaru had stolen her from her family. It wasn't his original plan but for some reason, he felt a connection towards the girl and decided to raise her as his own, with Kabuto as a brother figure. 

She just helped him in his experiments, knowing fully well that they were illegal but she didn't mind. She liked doing them and learning about stuff, she even knew how to do a few forbidden jutsu that Orochimaru taught her, like how to keep herself looking young.

And most prisoners liked her but yet hated her at the same time. They liked her because she was nice to them and treated them like family and would beg Orochimaru not to be so harsh when he was. But yet they hate her because she was treated better. She knew but didn't mind.

Her name means pure, sacred, holy, clean, beautiful and she lived up to it. Yes, she did do many illegal things but she did it with good intention and if it was too dangerous she would stop it immediately and find a safer way. She was not a monster like how people considered Orochimaru (which she hated) but a pure-hearted monster, a weird and rare combination but it was accurate. She loved her life anyway. But Orochimaru had many secrets that he kept from her.

He had only told her that he had found her as a baby and took her in and mentioned nothing about her older and twin brother, nothing about her parents, nothing about the Uchiha clan, nothing about the fact that the Sharingan was not something only she had but something that runs in her clan, heck she didn't even know she was part of a popular and well-known clan! Nothing about the fact that her whole clan was slaughtered by her older brother, and nothing about that he had stolen her from her family.

But for now, he decided they could just stay as a regular family. Just for a little longer.
