Bruises and Bullies
High school. By its very definition means: A school that typically compromises grades 9 through 12, attended after primary school or middle school.
In English it would translate to hell. It's really a place where they lock; teenagers, the worst breed of any, into a classroom where they will most likely use pencils as weapons. All have ranging hormones that are solved in different ways. Drama, sex, or if your lucky a hobby. Kurt's was glee.
Glee was that time of day where he could forget he was the nobody, loser/gay/ kid who always thrown in the dumpster, and just dream for a moment. He's a star. The reason he joined the club goes back to his freshmen year, but we'll get to that later.
Kurt came back to school after his get together with Blaine, his heart did flips, by just having his name roll off his tongue. He didn't want to say a crush was forming, but it indeed was. Nothing could get him down now, he was happy for once.
Although his daze was ruined, when his center of gravity was lost, and that familiar pain in his shoulder returned.
Bullies. Now by that definition means: A person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who are weaker.
They can't get the definition of high school, but bullies I suppose they can.
David Karofsky. Much bigger than Kurt. Kurt is well yes weak in a way. Tiniest of all the boys in his grade. Skinny and short, not any muscle to him. Karofsky, is like a fat version of Blaine but not as tall, nor hot. So the opposite in a way.
"Hey fairy, you missed your lunch appointment." He scowled towards Kurt, yellow teeth grinning.
"Please leave me alone..." Kurt said in a soft voice, barley even considered a whimper. Let alone a whisper.
Kurt whole body was pinned on the locker, the metal slopes digging into his back, his feet were inches off the ground, as he dangled helpless. Few punches and kicks were through but a voice was heard.
"Hey!"
That voice saved him. It was no stranger. It was the voice of a strong kind man. Kurt's crush.
The voice belonged to Blaine, at this moment, Kurt could defiantly picture him as his night in shining amour, which he really was.
The jocks eyes widen, many backed out noticing who was standing in their hallways. Famous MMA fighter, always good to back off when you have that tittle. Karofsky let go of Kurt and his feet braced the floor once again. Kurt stumbled back, hitting the lockers again.
Blaine's firm figure was in front of him, helping him steady himself. "You alright?" Blaine asked much softer then how he screamed. Kurt only nodded, no words could be formed. Why was Blaine here? Why was he helping him?
Blaine reached in his back pocket pulling out a phone, "you forgot this." Kurt smiled and took his phone from Blaine. "Thank you." Kurt smiled at him.
"Of course." Blaine smiled.
"You know high school is still king of the same huh? There are still Bruises and Bullies, aren't there?" Blaine asked Kurt.
Kurt nodded, rubbing the back of his neck, almost nervously. "Never stopped."
