Isn't having friends a wonderful part of life? They are the people in your life who make you laugh louder, smile brighter, and live better. And I am so glad to have these people in my life who see the sorrow behind my smile, the love behind my anger, and the reason behind my silence. At this thought, a smile appeared on my face as I see my friends fighting over the menu in a lavish restaurant. Aakash suggested this place as soon as our lunchtime started so here we are where these three are fighting to order the things which they think I will like the most. Having enough of their fight, I told them to order according to their wishes rather than wasting time as we have only 1 hour for our lunch break. Soon they placed their orders and we started chatting about various things in the restaurant. When Aakash and Aditi were discussing some interiors about the restaurant, Anvi gestured me to come closer. As she was sitting slightly adjacent to me, I leaned towards her without coming in the eyes of these two people who were sitting in front of me.

" You told us to order anything but Meghna don't you think the bill will be more than your budget? Because this restaurant looks very lavish " Anvi whispered in my ear and a small smile touched my lips.

" Don't worry about that Anvi! This is my treat and this is the least I can do for you guys " I whispered back in her ear and saw a relieved look on her face. This girl is too innocent for her own good. Though she is the younger one among all of us but the level of understanding, concern and maturity this girl has sometimes surprised me. My train of thoughts was broken by Aditi who discreetly pointed at some group.

" OH MY GOD !!! LOOK LOOK. Isn't that the group of our heads and seniors " Aditi excitedly said in a hushed voice pointing at the group who had taken their table adjacent to ours leaving one table.

" I don't know who are these people ?" Anvi asked confusedly making me Aditi and Aakash stare at her like she is some alien.

" Stop looking at me like that " Anvi chastised making me chuckle.

" Don't you really know them ?" Aditi asked and Anvi nodded her head in a 'NO ' in a very cute manner.

" OH MY GOD! okay, I will tell you all these people sitting there are the elite group of our company. They are the heads and seniors of different department. Can you see your head is also present there? " Aditi asked Anvi in her whispering tone which was as good as saying it aloud.

"Yes, I can see Mr Sharma is there " Anvi whispered to Aditi as they both stared back at the group.

"But why they are called the elite group? " Anvi asked again; this time making everybody chuckle.

" Can't you see? They are superi-" I cut off Aditi in the middle of her statement and said " Will you people stop discussing them? Already I guess I am in for trouble " when I found my senior manager looking at me. She was looking at me with surprise evident in her eyes. She was indeed a beautiful woman wearing an elegant black long sleeve pencil dress.

Seeing her looking at me, I found many pair of eyes turning towards my side making me very uncomfortable. Aditi was right when she said about them being the elite class of our company. Indeed, they were the elite class as they were superior in terms of everything be it money, looks or power. As I didn't want any problems in my professional life I just smiled at the lady in black even though I didn't want to look at her face. She was sitting with 5 handsome men and 3 ladies excluding her who gave vibes of nothing but arrogance. While the men gave out the vibe of richness, secrecy and something more which made them a lot more intimidating. I knew most of them as I had to interact with them due to some work or the other. I thanked lord a million times as our food arrived which made me look away from them.

" In the whole complex, did they get only this restaurant ?" I muttered to myself while Aakash and Aditi were trying to bite back a loud laugh.

" Don't you dare do something which attracts their attention again ?" I hissed to both of them while Anvi lowered her face to hide a smile and continued to eat while they both just grinned.

" And Don't you dare forget Aditi your head of the department is also sitting there. So if you wish to stay back and work till late night then please carry on with this behaviour " I said and a smirk appeared on my face when she lost all her playfulness.

Seeing her like that, I also lowered my face in order to control my laugh and concentrated on my face because we all knew that Aditi was very much scared of her senior although the man is devilishly handsome, he was a terror in the finance department. His no-nonsense attitude and strict demeanour made him quite enigmatic.

Finishing our lunch with utmost silence, I paid the bill and we all gathered our stuff to move back to our office. When we were passing the table of our senior, my eyes met with a pair of black smoky eyes who didn't seem interested in the talks that were going on. As I looked at him, I didn't realise that I started my walking pace decreased just so that I can continue looking at him. His face didn't hold any expression and the same case was mine. His blank stare made him intimidating while I stared back at him to prove that I was not affected by such a stare. But, the reality was something else. Later on, his expression changed to an amused one which immediately made me avert my eyes.

As I passed the table, I closed my eyes and reprimanded myself for staring him like that. I walked towards my friends who were waiting for me outside the restaurant.

" What happened? " Anvi asked and I just smiled.

" Well madam was staring at one of the seniors with so much intensity as if she wanted to burn him with her eyes," Aakash said making all of us chuckle.

" Are I don't know who the hell he was! That's why to intimidate him I stared at him with anger but in turn, I only got intimidated " I huffed making them laugh.

" I don't know how you manage with him Aditi. Thankfully I have never interacted directly with me " I added and heaved a sigh of relief.

" But Meghna You shouldn't have done that as we all know that marketing and finance departments are interrelated so there may come a time where you may have to face him, " Anvi said and I nodded at her as she was right.

" You are right! But I guess we will see that when the time comes " I said and we all headed back to the office.

Later in the evening, When I had completed all my work I was thinking of what to write to the man who had been sending me these notes. Taking out a white sheet of paper, I wrote a simple message in black ink for him and kept it back in the small gift box that I had received from him. Though I didn't keep the watch inside, thinking that someone else may take it.

Keeping the box on the place where I find his notes, I left my cabin to meet my friends and we all headed out to hang out and have dinner.
