It was a beautiful starry night and the stars were sparkling like sapphires. The moon was smiling and if you look very closely there may be a few owls that are insight. A cry can be heard below the night sky where a princess was born. She was rosy and pink and she was indeed beautiful. The king and queen were rejoicing and admiring their new baby girl which will be the future queen. In the town of  Marigoton another cry can be heard, this time from a small cottage where a poor family lived. The mother and father were also proud of their new baby girl and a small boy can be seen hugging his new sister. Several years later the two girls have gotten even prettier but they two had completely different lives. Ashi, the princess was supposed to behave like an actual princess. The parents wanted her to be perfect at everything from riding horses to doing a curtsy. She attended balls and dinner parties where she learned all the rules from a young stage. She was brave and strong but her parents forbid her to do dangerous activities. She has proper education in her school and was busy with her classes often which she enjoyed more than dressing up like a doll and falling in dresses. Marinette, the baker's daughter could do whatever she chooses and she was happy with what she had. She could not have an education like the princess because she was poor and instead she helps her father bake macarons. She loves to sing and play sports with her brother and the few friends she has. She also had a pony of her own and rides freely in the fields behind the town. When Marinette was 6 one day, the royal guards accused her parents of speaking against the law because her parents thought that the taxes were raised too high and their friends' houses were being burned. Since they had been killed, they were taken away and never seen again. Because Siddharth had no other family and was just 9 years old at the time, the government forced them to live in an orphanage. She started her first career, which was fashion designing when she was 16 years old. The siblings bought a home close to the castle after managing to afford the money they required to live. When the girls were 18 years old, a couple more years passed, and wonderful things occurred. Marinette noticed the princess was in danger and had been taken kidnapped as she was returning home. They did not notice Marinette as she retrieved her horse from their cottage and trailed after them.  They came to a stop in front of a large, dark home that had cages and traps overhead. Her arms were bound with heavy vines while she was forced to sit in a chair. Marinette sprinted and used a pocket knife to cut the vines as they entered another room. She raced at them when they noticed her and kicked them in the stomach. She threw one person through the window. She pushed him to the ground after breaking another person's arm. Because the princess lacked fear, she punched one person in the face and threw him into the air until he fell. After everyone had been defeated the princess finally presented herself. "Hello, my name is Princess Ashi, and I want to thank you so much for saving me." "My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and I'm Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng's child. The royal guards killed my parents a few years ago. " Oh my! My heartfelt condolences go out to your parents. Do you have any living people?" "The only reason I'm still alive is for my older brother Siddharth." "Are you employed in any positions?" "Yes, I am the owner of Elegance. You may not have known about it earlier, I'm sure. " What! I adore that store since there are the nicest outfits there that I have in my closet." "The item you are wearing is mine." " You made this! It's my favorite. The design looks so complicated."  "How is your life." "I'm savoring my first and last taste of freedom before getting married next week." " At least, you're not an indentured servant." "Indentured servant?"

Marinette:

If I'd like to have my breakfast hot

Madame Carp will make me pay,

And I have to fetch the eggs myself

Ashi (speaking): Really?

Marinette (speaking): Really. But it's all right.I mean, I'm used to it.And you?

Ashi (speaking): Well...

Marinette (speaking): Well?

Ashi:

 If I want some eggs I ring the bell

And the maid comes running in,

And she serves them on a silver tray

And she brings a cookie tin.

And while I eat, she rubs my feet

And strolling minstrels play,

But I'd rather be in my library

Reading science books all day.

Marinette: (speaking): Oh, it isn't really.

First I choose a fabric from the rack

And it turns into a gown!

Ashi: I wear my gown

And dance around my room

Both: 

And imagine life without the strife

Of an unfamiliar groom.

Ashi (speaking): 

But I'd never let my mother know.

I wouldn't want to disappoint her.

Marinette ( speaking): 

I completely understand

Both:

"It was a pleasure meeting you. Unfortunately, I must leave." " Me too. I appreciate everything." "Friends?" "Friends!" The two girls hug while laughing heartily. Marinette started measuring the wedding dresses as soon as she got back to the dress shop, donning her professional attire. She couldn't stop thinking about Ashi because she wished she could live the life of a princess. While completing mathematics, Ashi was also thinking of Marinette and desired she could work in a clothing shop like Marinette and run in the broad meadows. The story starts here!
