As I was getting dragged back towards the palace, I couldn't help but think about what I had saw back there. Oh boy maybe they won't be so mad if I told them I stabbed a lich in the head! It might work!
When we got back, my mother was furious. But her anger quickly vanished when she saw the bloody knife that I had managed to grab before I got taken away.
"I stabbed a lich in the head," I informed her, and her anger was replaced with pride.
"My daughter, a lich stabber! Oh how wonderful! Honey, come down here! Our daughter has a story to tell!"
My dad came rushing down and sat down, and I started to tell them everything. When I was done, the most unexpected thing happened.
"Well sweetheart, I think it's time you should be allowed in the woods alone!" My father exclaimed, his face lighting up.
