Alex POV:

As we approached the 'palace', I still couldn't believe that I was here. Sure he is an ass, but why me?

As we arrived there, I felt the sudden urge to jump out of the car when it stopped. Before I could, its like the prince read my mind and held me before I could do that. He said : "Wouldn't want you getting hurt now will we?" "Hmph! Speak for yourself..." I muttered under my breath. We get out of the car and wow! To say that I was an understatement. I just couldn't speak, I just stared in awe at his palace. Not even one of my master's palaces were as big or beautiful as this one. The prince chuckled. "I see that you are impressed.....most of them are." He muttered the last part so lowly I almost couldn't hear him, but I did. "What did you just say?" I asked. "Nothing." He replied. We walked into the palace and I could see that his expression slightly changed to a more relaxed one. I was slightly relieved. Wait.....relieved? Since when did I ever care for him? Even with his chiseled chest and muscles, and his oh, so kissable.....Hey! Stop that! I'm supposed to be thinking of him as an ass, not....... Never mind. "Alex, Alex, earth to Alex?" the Prince said, calling me out of my thoughts. I mentally face palmed myself. I just zoned out in my own world. I bet he thinks that I'm such an idiot and a weird freak. "No, you are not any of those and yes you just said that all out loud." The prince grinned. I turned a very bright cherry red on my face. Oh, My Gosh. Could this be any worse? By the time I came out of my own state, we were in his bedroom. Suddenly he lunged for his King size bed, dragging me with him. We both landed in the middle of the bed. Hmmmmmm, so comfy and warm. Just as I was about to fall asleep, I felt the prince's hands on me, carrying me out of the bed, bathing me. And finally into his pyjamas and into bed. As soon as I thought he fell asleep, I whispered: "Thank you. No one has ever done that for me and I think I'm starting to fall in love with you, but you will never know if I do. I don't want to get my heart broken again." And I cuddled in his large protective hands and fell into the best dream I've ever had in my life.

Edward POV:

I heard every word he said. He thought I was asleep but I heard every single word that came out of my angel. Don't worry, I will always be with you, love you, protect you and find out who broke his soul and why, then I will kill them. I growl. I wrap my arms tighter on my little love and he sighs contentedly in his sleep. I chuckle, who knew he would grow on me so fast. With those thoughts in my mind I go into one of my most lovely dreams ever.
