*Abhilash Pov*

"These are the students in charge?" I asked looking at Vikesh after he called out a few students from three classes on this floor.

"Yeah! I asked them properly and these people walked out." He assured me and I gave him a nod before glancing at Rekha and Kalyan.

They both walked towards the group of students to talk with them while Vikesh, Rakesh, and I stood away to let them deal with it but frowned looking at a few students standing near the door in a group.

"Aren't those the people we saw that day..." I trailed remembering just the faces of two in that gang.

"Yeah! I think so." Rakesh mumbled nodding at me while frowning at them as Kavitha continued to point out them as she is still angry at them for commenting on Mihi like that and also because the juniors are passing the rumors now because of this gang.

"Let's go!" I mumbled and we three walked towards the gang who reluctantly showed respect as we are their seniors.

"What is it we are hearing that Second-year students are gossiping and passing stupid rumors around?" Vikesh asked frowning at them while they rolled their eyes.

"You! You both are on the basketball team, right? Do you guys know who I am and who is he?" He asked in a threatening voice and finally, they started paying attention.

"Don't forget there are still three years for you guys to leave this college. Have a normal gossiping session if you can't live without it but ruining someone else's reputation like this will not be forgiven." I warned them without hesitating a bit.

"I can submit the official complaint against you guys right this moment and you will get punishment today without wasting time on it. If there is any rumor passed against Swapnil Sir or the other student ever again then just know that the next three years will not be easy to pass through." I added frowning at them.

"And don't think we are just meddling and lose interest later. You were gossiping about his girlfriend all this time and our friend. Do you think we will sit calmly?" Rakesh suddenly added making me glance at him.

If Mihi knows that Rakesh just uttered those words then he will be dead along with me. I cleared my throat before warning them again when the representatives reached us along with Rekha and Kalyan after finishing the discussion.

"Swapnil Sir is not that forgiving you know. So, behave yourselves next time." Rekha used a serious tone and they all nodded before entering their classes.

"They agreed?" I asked looking at her.

"Yeah! Like Mihi said we are fourth-year students and of course they will listen to us. So, everything is set but is she really going to meddle like this?" She asked when we walked away from the building as it's time for us to leave with all the classes finished.

Mihi and Kavitha are waiting for us near the parking lot and didn't want to let anyone know that she is anywhere involved with this plan.

"Yeah! I didn't ask for the details." I replied still not understanding why does she want to do this.

"Anyway, after a long time she requested us something like this and I hope the distance we are still feeling with her goes away with moments like these." Kalyan mumbled.

"But don't you think you guys were too threatening towards the juniors just now?" he asked frowning with letting others hear.

"They deserve it as they didn't stop even after getting warned by Haritha Maam." I mumbled at him.

"She is normal with Kavitha except with five of us. She will become closer to us before Abhi for sure." Rakesh assured him.

"If she knows how you just described her before those students then even Kavitha will stay away from you." I mumbled and he stopped in his tracks.

"You guys are going to tell them this matter?" he asked frowning and I shook my head when we reached the parking lot.

"Done?" Mihi asked with an anticipated look on her face.

She jumped in excitement when we all nodded at her before hugging Kavitha. She has an excited look on her face which I didn't see recently and that kind of makes me excited too.

"Do you think it will work?" Kavitha asked looking at her.

"Of course! He looked so jealous when I just mentioned that Senior. Just imagine how will he feel when he sees them interacting and he needs to know the truth." She replied and none of us couldn't understand a bit even Kavitha as she didn't give any details saying it's their secret.

We don't even know whom is she pairing Sir with but I don't know what will be the after-effects. However, I want this plan to succeed and then I will not feel the jealousy when thinking about him for sure.

"Jealousy always shows their interest and he deserves that push." She continued smiling at us.

"Thank you! I will treat you guys today." She said smiling and we stared at her in shock.

"We all are finally going out together? Wait! Let's make it three times payment." Vikesh commented smiling.

"Yeah! We should watch a movie and then go somewhere to eat and also meet at her house for a get-together." Rekha added.

"So, we should do it for three separate days." Kalyan nodded at those words while she chuckled hearing them.

"I already watched a movie with Abhi and even had lunch with him. We can do that this weekend." She assured them before going with Kavitha to get their vehicles and mentioned about giving me a lift by herself.

"So, Abhi will not be the last one on this list." Rakesh mumbled while I sighed because they don't know that in friends list I am not on the last but relationship I am not even on the list.

"Oh my god!" Mihi said rushing towards us and is running making me worried for a second but she is laughing without stopping for a bit.

"Thank you!" she said hugging me before smiling at others.

"You guys didn't see the glares from his eyes. It will be a very interesting Monday for sure." She commented while we all stared at each other.

"You are trying to match him with Haritha Maam?" Kavitha asked her frowning and she nodded.

"Yes! They both are made for each other." Mihi replied.

"If that's what you to tell yourself, as I don't find them to be compatible as they both are awkward with each other." Vikesh mumbled.

"That's because you guys don't know the whole story. Forget all that and I need to thank you guys for asking the juniors to invite that senior as one of the alumni. The interaction between Maam and him was right before Sir's eyes as the Senior didn't let Sir move away from them at all." She mumbled with a satisfied look.

"What if he finds out?" I asked her frowning and the smile slipped from her face.

"Let's hope he doesn't!" she whispered clearing her throat and placed her arm around mine.

"Let's go! We will be late for the movie." She said pulling me towards the parked vehicles and made me sit behind her without any hesitation.

She is not even reacting surprised or disinterested when I circle my hands around her but she is just adding the tag friends for us. I am still not sure whether I should accept it or not as I don't want to act before her like I am fine with just being her friend even though I am not.

*Haritha Pov*

"I am really glad that I was able to meet you here again, Haritha." Senior said smiling at me and I smiled back hearing those words.

No matter what he was my first crush and it's good to be in such a friendly relationship with no hard feelings.

"I am glad they called you to be one of the alumni. When I first saw their plan I didn't find your name at all." I commented.

"Yeah! Even I was busy to attend but they were stressing me to attend saying the fourth-year seniors want me to attend and it felt good that my juniors want me to attend like this." He explained.

"Fourth year?" Swapnil Sir asked finally joining the conversation.

We met the senior yesterday and he invited us today for lunch but Sir didn't say a single word even after we finished our lunch and just sat there.

I thought he will feel comfortable with both of us even though he generally doesn't like to be with many people.

He told me it just somehow happened and even his parents who adopted him when he was a kid are angry for him to distance himself like this but they got used to it.

"Yeah! I am glad she is working under you, Sir. She is very good at studies and seeing my two favorite people like this makes me happy." Senior commented smiling.

"You are being happy for so many things." Sir mumbled and I frowned hearing those words.

"Here is my number, Haritha." Senior passed my phone back after noting down his number when we finished were about to leave as he needs to catch his flight.

I waved at him when he sat inside the cab and he waved back before the cab was out of our sight.

"I don't think he can see you waving anymore." Sir commented from my side and I turned to stare at him while he is just unlocking his car.

"Sir! You need to drop me." I invited myself before getting into his car and he sighed before starting the engine.

"What happened to you from yesterday, Sir?" I asked frowning and he just ignored my question.

"You were rude to him when he was trying to be so sweet towards you." I pointed out and he snorted.

"Why should I be nice with someone just because they are nice to me? He was my student and not anymore. I can handle only two at a time and Mihira and you are enough for me to spend my nice nature." I stared at him in shock hearing those words.

"And why are you both still not together? You like him, don't you?" he asked frowning.

"I liked him but not anymore after liking you... I mean why are we talking about that." I replied in a rush shaking my head.

"I don't think you liked me as you were just thinking about him while sending me those emails. You must have just liked him and that's why I ignore your confession." He suddenly said when we reached closer to the hostel building where I am staying.

Is that what he thinks? Is that why he reacted like that? Why is he so stupid like this? Why did I like him in the first place? I thought with a sigh.

However, when I was about to get down from his car, I couldn't stop myself from saying, "I may have thought like that but after knowing that it was you I was contacting, I forgot completely about him and could only think about you, Sir. If I still like him, then I wouldn't have starred all your mails so that I can read them whenever I want."

With those words, I got down and slammed the door before walking away from his car still not believing that I dared to utter those words.

*Mihira Pov*

"Sir?" I called him again to make sure I am not hearing it wrong and nearly dropped my phone from my ear.

He just informed me that I need to come to college early as there are a few details he forgot to explain regarding the recent topic.

But that is not the shocking matter as he asked something else after hesitating for a few minutes.

"Is it possible to forget the first love easily and move on to the next one?" he repeated the question and I sat there in silence while my friends are staring at me in confusion after seeing my expression.

Why is he asking that? I thought for a second clearly before remembering how it could relate to him.

"Of course, Sir! If the next love enters our lives that attracts the feelings greater than the first one then it is easy to move on and that too in a short time. Whom we like at present is important than who is our first love." I assured him smiling.

"So, you can be close friends with first love?" he continued and I sighed hearing another question.

"Yes! We can be close friends with first love. Even I am friends with Abhi right now. So, it's possible." I replied smiling while feeling proud that he is finally thinking about things other than the computers.

"Okay! I just wanted to find out for some research purpose." Saying that he cut the call while chuckled at thinking how cute he is right now.

"What is it?" I asked looking at my friends who are staring at me with frowns covering their faces.

"Is it Swapnil Sir? Why is he asking you the questions he is supposed to ask his friends?" Kavitha asked shaking her head.

"Because I am his best friend. And didn't I tell you guys that jealousy is the best push for him. My plan definitely worked." I replied shrugging before forgetting the matter.

After a long time, we are having a get-together at my place, and I kind of like it even though feeling scared at the back of my mind thinking all this will again stop happening in the future.

"You have too many friends." Abhi mumbled from my side while I glanced at him before realizing he just heard the words I told Sir.

"Of course! Even we are close friends, right? There is no difference between us for you, right?" I asked anticipating for his answer.

When he slowly nodded I sighed in relief because now he will not hide anything from me and tell everything as he does near the others like last time. I smiled at that thought while sitting closer to him feeling a sense of relief.

I think there will be a surprise in the next chap... Teachers part will be in bits like this in the next one too and will continue to be there... they are a fixed part in this story...
