Tan still stood and watched. And waited. The power pearl was still motionless and quiet. A few more minutes passed, and still nothing at first. But gradually, and very slowly, the power pearl's limp wings seemed to twitch as she stirred back to consciousness. Though her coloring remained darkened. The attack had used up all the charge within her gems, leaving all three exhausted. They wanted to unfuse, but knew Dark Brown wasn't gone yet. Unfusing would be unwise at best. Rainbowbird weakly opened her eyes, only to be greeted by the very concerned giant bird lady she knew very well. Tan was still quietly watching, though by now she had gotten into a sitting position and used her back wings to support herself. She was also leaned over the fallen power pearl with a look of worry spread over her face that her crest couldn't hide.

Rainbowbird smiled a bit at Tan, then raised a hand up and held it against Tan's face as she wiped a tear that had started to run down the bird-diamonds face. Tan seemed a bit taken aback, but pressed her face into the hand holding it close. Rainbowbird was still alive. She might be drained of her energy, but she hadn't poofed just yet. She wasn't angry. She wasn't trying to hurt Tan. She wasn't mad at existing, and she wasn't made by force. And even if only for a moment, Tan felt...Happy. The memories of Purplebird seemed to fade away...At least, for now. But Tan no longer felt the pain of what she had lost. She let go of the hand, and nodded.

She got up and stepped back as Rainbowbird got back to her feet shakily, still weak but not ready to come apart yet. She didn't feel safe until Dark Brown was gone for good. This Diamond had threatened all she had ever known! Even the nerve to try and overthrow her owner! Feeling a renewed burst of strength, the fusion walks to Dark Brown Diamond, whose within a crater and still badly injured..

But when she's close enough, Dark Brown stands up shakily as well. Though this time she's got a big malicious smile across her face. ''Oh? You thought you'd get rid of me?'' The Diamond spoke, her voice echoing from everywhere at once. ''This is just the beginning. I still have one secret weapon left, and you've damaged me enough to let it out. You think fighting a Diamond is easy.....'' Her smile grows wider. The cracks worsen, but Rainbowbird starts backing up as she starts to figure out what really is happening. Tan also watches on in horror.

''But let's see how well you can face the Bird-Diamond Beast!'' Dark Brown snarls. Her form seems to shatter, but within the darkened light a new form takes shape and a new terror arises to the battle!
