As Dark Brownbird nears Tan, she had little time to avoid what was about to happen. She had figured she was powerful enough to survive anything Tan would use against her. She was a six-wing. A powerful pearl created by homeworld long before Tan even existed! Dark Brown may have gotten her early, but she had been well taken care of and trained to be what she was now. And now, the very Diamond she had once looked up to was just dust scattered in a crater. It wasn't right! Tan didn't deserve to rule the planet. The Power Pearl would rule it by herself! Surely, Tan wouldn't dare harm her.

But any thoughts of winning was suddenly overthrown as Tan's eyes flash and the swarming power pearls she owns charge their gems. Dark Brownbird panicked, having second thoughts about fighting, and attempted to turn back around mid-flight. But it was too late. The last thing she saw was a bright beam of charged energy blasting through her own body, though not enough to damage her gem. But it was enough to badly injure her as she plummeted back down in a heap to the ground at Tans feet.

Tan sighed as the blast fades, and kneels down to the power pearl using her own wings to support her body and she reached eye-level to the unconscious power pearl. She wasn't Tan's Pearl..Yet. Overlooking the power pearl, Tan could see there was about three serious injuries from the blow. She could fix them easily, but she worried the power pearl might not let her after what had happened to Dark Brown.

Dark Brownbird barely opened her eye, seeing only a blurry image of Tans face. "I know. You loved her. She was your Diamond. And you thought highly of her. But she was too far gone to save, and she had plenty of chances to change her mind.'' Tan explained to the injured Gem. "So please. Let me continue her legacy, and I'll help you get better.'' She added, pausing a bit. Dark Brownbird wavered, then lifts up one of her back wing hands and places it on Tans closest hand.

And then, just as fast as she had appeared...The power pearl poofs dully, and the gem dully lands on the ground. Tan just weakly smiled, and bubbles the pearls gem to keep it safe.

At long last, peace returned to Tan's planet. At a cost, of course. But now Dark Brown Diamond could no longer terrorize the lands, and her Pearl was given a second chance. But you see, there is still one thing left.

Dark Brownbird Pearl was still badly injured. And she had poofed. Now she was bubbled, Tan had one thing to do. She knew it might not be much, but it would lessen the pain the poor Gem had felt from her power pearls themselves.
