''Tan? What happened?''

Yellowbird is a panic. The planet Tan has ruled over for many years has suddenly fallen into darkness on one half. A barrier has formed without warning, blocking power pearls from Tan's base. This barrier covers half the planet, an even line all the way around. Even the wild power pearls are trapped on separate sides. Yellowbird finds she's still with Tan, but the barrier starts at the ruins of another base.

Thankfully, it seemed at this time any visitors had left none were trapped. But what of the power pearls? There was at least many more held away by an unseen presence. Any who tried to get by it was thrown back to where they had started. Panic was spreading!

Tan walks outside of her HQ, seeming worried. What was going on? The barrier went along her own base, yet why was it there? She hadn't made it at all. Who had summoned it? She was the only Diamond here...Right?

It wasn't until her gaze settled ahead that she found another feathered Diamond standing at the edge of the barrier. Their sneer spread across their face as she approached.

''I'm back to claim my planet.'' Scowled the new Diamond. ''And I will do whatever it takes to get it back.'' As their massive wings unfurl. ''I, Dark Brown Diamond, shall take over this planet at all costs! For now, I'll only take half. But in a few days, it'll all be mine!''

With that, the once lost Diamond takes flight and disappears...Leaving Tan alone at the barrier. A new threat had returned. A new terror was back. And now she had no choice but to defend her turf by all means necessary.

The battle had only begun.
