Anniversary P. 2 [L]

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the delay, this was supposed to be uploaded last night, but wattpad has been glitching and the story had vanished last night, but its back now so yay!  Art below is just a little doodle I did of Evynne for this chapter. :) Enjoy the chapter guys!

"Has she been out here all morning?" Smee asked as he looked at Evynne who was holding onto the railing on the side of the ship looking at Agrabah as they got closer and closer to it.
"Aye." Killian chuckled. "I told her she could go back to bed for a bit, but as you can see..." He trailed off watching the way she would point at something and grin like a fool at Billy, who just looked back at Killian as if to say 'What's wrong with Evynne?'

"Are you sure this is a good idea Captain? The smaller cities...yeah but by now her father has to have scouts looking everywhere for her. They see this ship, and it's game over."
"They won't see the ship, even if they are here. Last time we made port, I got a cloaking spell from a Witch because I too wagered if this was a good idea or not, but I promised the lass the world, and she's going to get it Mr. Smee."
"Magic? You hate magic." Smee said.
"The things we do for love." Killian winked. "Besides its just to make the ship invisible while we are at port. It's not like I'm turning straw to Gold."
"You are a completely different man from the one I met a long time ago...and it's not a bad thing." Smee smiled at him.
"Do you think She'd marry me?" Killian blurted out.
Smee looked gobsmacked for a moment before shaking his head.
"I'm sorry what?" He asked.
"Evynne..I know she loves me, and I know she's given up her life of royalty to be here with me, but she is still a Princess, and I am still a Pirate.." Killian said. "What if she gets tired of this life? Of me?"

"Look at her Captain." Smee said and pointed to Evynne who was positively glowing, and smiling with her entire being. "I don't think that girl is ever going to tire of you or this life. Sure, she's sassy, and often forgets she's not in charge out here, but she loves you more than anything. She left behind her father, whose only wrongdoing towards her was trying to marry her off to a prince to save his kingdom. She left behind everything she knew, and she did it for you because the thought of marrying anyone beside you was too much for her. It's not a matter of if she is going to marry you. It's a matter of when she will and if you were to ask her right now, you'd be married by sundown." Smee chuckled.

"Thank you Mr. Smee." Killian smiled. "I'm not asking her today. I'm waiting for the right day and time and asking her today because its our anniversary just seems not right. I just wanted to make sure that I'm not a fool for thinking she'd marry me." He chuckled nervously now.
"Forgive me for saying this, but you're only a fool for thinking she wouldn't." Smee replied.

Evynne breathed in the rich smell of spices in the air.
"Oh my, what is that heavenly smell?" She asked.
"It always smells like that here. It's nice isn't it?" Billy asked.
"It's quite nice. How many times have you been here?" She asked.
"Three or four. Captain comes here often for supplies. If you think this smells good, Wait until Mr. Shaw stocks the kitchen with things from the Bazaar." Billy said and rubbed his stomach with a hungry look in his eyes. Evynne smirked down at the boy. "Go get you some breakfast before you start chewing on the ship."
"I've already had breakfast." Billy sighed. "Mr. Shaw will skin me alive if I take more before everyone else eats."
"Mr. Shaw is more bark than bite. You can have mine I'm too excited to eat." Evynne smiled.
"Thank you Miss Evynne!" Billy smiled and ran off into the kitchen.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

This was exactly the reaction Killian was hoping for as he watched Evynne walk around the Bazaar like she was walking on clouds. She would stop to dance with the street musicians and everything, absolutely everything was fascinating to her.
"Dance with me!" She giggled and grabbed Killian's hand and hook.
Killian chuckled.
"As you wish." He said as he swayed around with her to the music with skill she didn't know he had.
"Captain, you've never mentioned that you could dance." Evynne smirked.
"I'm a jack of all trades my love, you'll see," Killian winked.

Evynne gasped as Killian spun her in the direction of some brightly colored silks. She pulled herself away from him and practically skipped to the silk trader. Killian smirked and shook his head as he followed her.
"Look at all the pretty colors Killian! I was only ever allowed to wear dark colors." She said and cocked her head to the side looking at a bright purple dress that was on display. It was trimmed with a sparkling gold materia. It looked like two pieces because the style had an exposed midriff, but it was actually connected at the side.
"Its beautiful darling." Killian mused. He could take the princess out of the kingdom, but he couldn't quite take the princess out of the girl. He glanced over at someone waving at him from an alleyway.

"If you'll excuse me for just a moment Evynne.." He said.
"Where are you going?" Evynne frowned.
"I think Billys gone and gotten himself into some trouble, I'll be right back." Killian lied.
"Oh should I come?" Evynne asked.
"No..No I've got it. I'll come right back here so don't wander. You don't know your way around." Killian smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Okay.. well don't be too hard on Billy, he's just a kid." Evynne said and watched him walk away before turning back to the silk trader.
"Did you make this?" She asked and pointed to the dress.
"My mother did, She has a spot set up just down the way, I make the materials, she turns them into art." The trader replied.
"Is it for sale?" Evynne asked.
"For the right price." The trader nodded.
"May I try it on?"
The trader gave her a skeptical look.
"I'm not going to steal it." Evynne said, slightly offended that he would have thought that, only to remember she was walking around with a crew of Pirates.
"I promise. I have coin. But how can I buy it if I don't know how it fits?" She asked and opened her satchel digging out some of the currency she still had from her kingdom to show him. "I'll let you hold onto it while I try it on?"
"Alright, There's a tent right there you can use." The man nodded and took the dress down from the display. Evynne grinned and stepped into the tent with the dress and closed the curtain.
Dresses were not the most practical when on a pirate ship, but she did miss dressing up a little and she had never worn anything so colorful. Most of her clothes back home were in dark reds and blues.

When Evynne put on the dress, she was stunned. It was almost as if it was made for her, it fit her perfectly, and hugged her curves and she could almost see the look on Killian's face in her mind when he saw her in it. She absolutely had to have it.
"I'll take it." She said as she peeked out from behind the curtain with a smile.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It's been a while Captain."
"Nice to see you Jasmine." Killian smirked. "How have you and the lad been?"
"We have been wonderful, Thanks to your help last time you were here." Jasmine grinned. "We certainly did not expect the fearsome Captain Hook, to have such a soft spot for romance."
"Aye, well.. As you know, A princess wanting to marry for love, instead of wealth and position is something I have become all too familiar with, Princess."
"Its Sultana now." Jasmine corrected him with a wink.

"Oh! Is it? Well then congratulations are surely in order. My apologies."
"You are forgiven Captain." Jasmine chuckled. "What brings you back here? Not that you aren't welcome any time, I just didn't think you'd be back so soon."
"Well, last time I was here I dropped something off with one of the jewelers in the Bazaar, I originally intended to be back to get the finished product, and be off to take it to who it belongs to..however plans have changed just so slightly."
"Oh?" Jasmine frowned. "Nothing bad I hope."
"No, No not really, its just the woman, the gift was for is here..with me."
"The..Princess you mentioned before?" Jasmine raised an eyebrow. "You stole her away from her kingdom?"
"Well no, she came quite willingly. I actually had very little choice in the matter, we were well out of her Kingdom before I ever realized she was on my ship. Bit of a tricky little devil she is. Anyways, today is the anniversary of the day that we met, and I hear tell of one of those fancy palace parties being held tonight."
"You wish to attend?" Jasmine grinned.
"Well, its not typically my thing, but being that Evynne is still very much a princess in at least part of her heart, I thought it would be something she would enjoy, She's quite fascinated with Agrabah already and no one throws a party quite like you. I promised I'd show her incredible things."
"Well, I am pleased to know that we are on the list of incredible things Captain Jones. You and your princess are more than welcome to attend."
"Excellent! Now, may I ask just one more favor?" Killian asked.
"What is it?"
"I know you must be busy, but could you possibly keep Evynne busy and distracted while I sneak away to procure her anniversary gift?"
"How would you like me to do that?" Jasmine asked.
"I'm sure you'll come up with something. Evynne's been stuck with me and my crew for a couple months, I am sure she would love to have another woman to talk to for a while."
"I think I can help, You can meet us back at the palace before the party." Jasmine smiled. "Now just point her out to me."
Killian looked out, where he told Evynne to stay put and groaned.
"She was supposed to be right there waiting for me."
"That's okay, Just describe her and I'll find her, you go get what you need."
"She's got an olive skin tone, her hair is the color of honey in the sun, and her eyes are the color of the ocean." Killian gave the Sultana a boyish grin.
Jasmine chuckled.
"Well then I'm sure she will be easy to find. Go about your business Captain, and I will find your princess."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Evynne had changed back into her regular clothes to save the dress for a special occasion and stood waiting for Killian for a little while, before she got bored and decided to look at other things in the Bazaar where she found Billy, who didn't look to be in any trouble at all. He was sitting down with some younger children sharing food with them.

"Billy." Evynne said as she approached him.
"Hello Miss Evynne." Billy smiled
"Captain said you had gotten into trouble and he was coming to get you out of it." Evynne said. "Nope. No trouble here." Billy shrugged. "I don't know why he would have said that."
"Me either.." Evynne sighed and looked down at the two children, they looked like they didn't have much of anything and they looked terrified of her. Like they were in trouble for talking to Billy.
"Did you pay for that Billy?" Evynne asked gesturing to the fruits and bread on the ground they were sharing.
"Yes Ma'am. I used those coins you gave me months ago."
Evynne smiled. She figured he'd have bought some sort of tinker toy ages ago, instead he bought food to share with two children who clearly needed it. Evynne crouched down to the children and reached into her pouch of coins pulling out a small handful. She held her hand out to the older of the two children. The boy looked to Billy skeptically.
"It's okay, She's giving you a gift." Billy explained. The boy reached his hand out and Evynne put the coins in his hand.
"For you and sister, for clothes and food. whatever you need and if it's not enough, tell Billy to find me." She smiled.
The boy nodded and smiled.
"Thank you." He said quietly.
"You're most welcome." Evynne said and stood up. "I guess I better go find out what The Captain is up to.." She sighed. She wasn't sure why Killian would lie to her.

Evynne wandered around the Bazaar without a sign of Killian. She decided to make her way back to the silk trader and see if he was there, and angry that she walked off when he told her to stay. As she made her way back, she heard a soft chittering sound behind her. She turned around and saw that a small monkey had been following her.

"Well hello." She said and knelt down holding her hand out. The monkey approached her and she cautiously put her hand out to pet him. The monkey nuzzled into her hand.
"Aww! Aren't you the cutest little thing? I wonder if Killian would let me keep you.." She thought out loud. Killian would most certainly not let her keep a monkey anywhere on his ship. "I should just take you with me anyways. I bet you wouldn't just leave me in a place I don't know on our anniversary would you?" She mumbled. The monkey just blinked at her.
"Right. I'm now the crazy lady talking to a monkey." She sighed. The monkey put its little hands over her hand inspecting the sparkling Sapphire ring on her index finger. It was her mother's ring.
"You like that? It belonged to my mother." Evynne smiled and before she had any time at all to react the monkey slipped the ring from her finger and took off with it.
"Hey!" She shouted and chased after the monkey. "Give that back!" She ran through the streets, chasing the tiny monkey all over yelling for anyone to help her catch him.
"Stop that monkey!" She shrieked at a vendor who looked at her like she'd lost the last marble she'd had.

She stopped at a fruit stand and picked up a piece of fruit hoping to trick the monkey to come to her.
"Come here you stupid little monkey." She mumbled and held out the fruit. The monkey sat on some netting, almost mocking her. Someone grabbed her wrist. She whipped around to see the fruit vendor, looking incredibly angry.
"Thief!" He accused
"What? No! I was only trying to get that monkey to gi-"
"You stole this from my stand!" He said gesturing to the apple in her hand.
"No, really I was going to put it back, I can even p-"
"Do you know what we do to thieves like you?"
"I wasn't stealing!" Evynne groaned. "If you would just let me-"
"What is going on here?" A woman from behind Evynne asked.
"Oh for heaven's sake will someone just let me bloody speak?!" Evynne demanded, and everyone had quieted down. Evynne turned her head and noticed a woman, with beautiful dark hair, and lots of gold jewelry approaching them.
"I asked what is going on here." She said.
"Forgive me, Sultana." The vendor said.
Sultana...oh shit. I'm doomed. Evynne thought.
"I caught this woman stealing my fruit."
"I wasn't stealing, and why'd you have to say it like that?" Evynne scoffed.
"If you weren't stealing, why are you holding onto that apple?" The Sultana asked.
"I was trying to trick that Monkey into coming to me, so I could get my ring that he took back!" Evynne explained.

The Sultana looked around.
"Monkey?" She asked.
Evynne looked around for the monkey and could not find him. Her heart sank, her mother's ring was likely gone for good. Today was just not turning out for her.
"I guess it doesn't matter...anymore." She sighed. "Either way, I was not stealing, I was either going to put it back, or pay for it and since there's no monkey anymore.." She said and handed the vendor back his apple.
"Am I free to go?" She asked. The Sultana nodded.
Evynne walked away from the fruit stand and didn't realize she was being followed.
"Princess.."
She raised an eyebrow and turned around. It was the Sultana who had followed her.
"Excuse me?" Evynne asked.
The Sultana gave her a warm smile.
"I know Royalty when I see it." She explained.
"Oh!..um.."
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I couldn't help but notice you look a little..lost.. Maybe sad?" She asked.
"I'm sure you have a lot more things to worry about than one sad princess, Sultana." Evynne shrugged.
"Please, call me Jasmine." The Sultana smiled. "And right now, I'm worried about you."
"I'm Evynne." Evynne introduced.
"What brings you to Agrabah Evynne?" Jasmine asked.
"A pirate brought me here, and then he left me in the Bazaar and lied to me about where he was going." Evynne frowned. "And a Monkey took off with my mother's ring, which is the only thing of hers I have with me. So I have that going for me too."
"Things that we lose have a funny way of coming back to us here." Jasmine smiled "Would you like to see the palace?"
"I'd love to! It was so beautiful from the ship I can't imagine what it looks like in person." Evynne grinned and followed Jasmine.

----------------------------------------------

The two women no sooner walked into the palace when they were greeted by a very large Tiger.
Evynne backed away.
"That there is a very large cat." She said anxiously as the Tiger approached. Jasmine chuckled.
"Rajah, be nice. Evynne is a guest." The tiger nuzzled into her hand and then looked at Evynne with an expectant look.
Evynne cautiously put her hand out and Rajah brushed his face over her hand letting her know it was okay to pet him.
"Did your father not let you have a pet?" Jasmine asked.
"Your father let you have a tiger as a pet?" Evynne asked.
Jasmine just grinned.
"My father didn't allow much, I have a horse, back home. Her name is Nova." Evynne shrugged. "My father kept everything in his kingdom just so. Everything except for me, not for lack of trying. After my mother was taken from our kingdom when I was 12, Every little move I made was watched. I couldn't go anywhere without my father's entire guard on my heels. When I turned 18, I'd hoped I'd have more freedom, but that's when the princes' from all over began to show up asking for my hand." Evynne rolled her eyes.

"My father tried that too." Jasmine smiled. "Didn't quite work the way he wanted it to. Just as I imagine the fact that you were brought here by a pirate, means it didn't work out the way your father planned either."
"Not quite." Evynne smiled. "But that doesn't stop him from trying, he asked another pirate to try and bring me back. He believes I've been kidnapped. But I left on my own. For love."
"The pirate?" Jasmine asked as she led Evynne around the palace showing her around.
Evynne nodded.
"Why not tell your father the truth?" Jasmine asked.
"Because he'd never understand. He knew I didn't love James but he still wanted me to marry him for the good of our kingdom and maybe I'm selfish for leaving my kingdom to fall for love, but I couldn't marry that man. My father hates pirates to admit that I loved one would be treason to him."
"That is just awful." Jasmine frowned. "I'm truly sorry...do you miss it? Your kingdom?"
"I miss certain things. My handmaiden Rebecca who was like a mother to me.. And my best friend Barrett, His father owned the Tavern in town, and when he passed Barrett took it. I used to sneak in there for drinks and he'd let me." Evynne smirked and then frowned. "And I do miss my father. I don't hate the man, I just wish he saw me as more than a ticket to fix our kingdom." She shrugged. "But nothing I miss, would ever bring me back willingly. I love Killian. Wherever we go, is home because he is there." Evynne smiled and sat down. She wished Killian was here right now and still wondered what exactly he was up to.

Another woman walked into the room.
"Everything in the gardens is set for tonight. People will be arriving shortly."
"Great. Thank you." Jasmine said.
"What happens tonight?" Evynne asked.
Jasmine turned to Evynne with a bright grin. "It's a good thing you've brought a dress."
Evynne just looked confused.
"Come on." Jasmine said and nodded for Evynne to follow her.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Evynne looked at herself in the floor mirror in Jasmine's room, she'd put on the purple gown she had bought from the Bazaar earlier and Jasmine had clipped a golden flower into her hair.
"It's been a while..since I dressed like this. Like..."
"A princess?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah." Evynne nodded. "I like it I do. As soon as I saw the dress in the Bazaar I had to have it. But it just feels strange at the same time. Like the person I'm looking at isn't me anymore."
"Because it isn't." Jasmine shrugged. "And theres no shame in that. You don't have to be something you're not because you were born into it Evynne. Its a great wide world, just be you." She smiled.
Evynne returned her smile.
"Still.. I do wish Killian was here. He'd appreciate this dress a lot." Evynne giggled.

Jasmine chuckled and shook her head.
"Come on, guests are arriving." She grinned and took Evynnes hand.
"Guests? For what?"
"A party in the gardens." Jasmine explained and as they made it to the main part of the palace, A man, with a monkey on his shoulder walked in.
"I hope we're not late." He said.
"Just in time Aladdin." Jasmine said and approached him. Evynne looked at the man and smiled waving at him and then she looked to the monkey.
"Hey.." She muttered and stepped closer to him. "You!" She said.
"Who, Abu?" Aladdin asked.
"This is the monkey from the Bazaar." Evynne exclaimed. "The one who took my ring!"
"Abu!" Aladdin sighed. "We don't steal anymore. Go on, give it back."
Abu made a whining sound and reached into Aladdin's pocket where he had put the ring and held it out to Evynne.
Evynne sighed in relief and put the ring on her finger.
"See, I told you things we lose tend to come back to us here." Jasmine said.
Evynne nodded and smiled and then looked at the monkey.
"You didn't happen to bring a pirate with you too did you? I lost one of those too." She sighed.
"Well I don't quite fit in the lads pocket, but I did come too."

Evynne gasped and spun around to see her Pirate standing next to the Sultana with a big grin.
She strode over to him.
"Where did you go?! You lied to me!" She crossed her arms.
"Billy blew my cover did he?" Killian sighed and scratched anxiously behind his ear. Evynne sighed and threw her arms around him.
"I'm still mad at you, but I did miss you."
"I'm sorry darling. I was trying to surprise you. I saw Jasmine while we were at the Bazaar and I didn't want to spoil the surprise."
"Wait.. you know each other?" Evynne asked looking at Jasmine.
"Captain Jones and I are good friends." Jasmine nodded and cracked a smile. "I wanted to tell you because you seemed so upset but I figured the surprise would be worth it."

Killian held Evynne at arms length looking her up and down.
"You look stunning in that dress love."
"Thank you." Evynne grinned.
"So...still mad?" Killian asked giving her a boyish grin.
"No." Evynne smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I didn't take you for the palace party type Captain."
"If it makes you happy, I am." Killian smiled.
"Just being with you makes me happy Killian. I don't need all of this. Just you." Evynne smiled and pressed her forehead against his chest.
"Should we go back to the ship then?" Killian asked.
"No. I look amazing in this dress. We are going to the party." Evynne said. Killian chuckled.
"Thought so."

The party had been beautiful, there were people dancing with fire, fireworks in the sky, and some of the most delicious exotic foods Evynne had ever tasted, everyone seemed so happy and carefree. The pair thanked Jasmine and Aladdin for allowing them to attend the party, and being such wonderful hosts.
"Would you consider letting me get a tiger?" Evynne asked as they made their way back to the ship.
"Would that be the wine speaking through you?" Killian chuckled.
"Possibly." Evynne smirked and leaned against him. "Maybe a monkey?"
"On my ship? We have a Billy. He's about as much trouble as a monkey sometimes, Eats like a whale though."
"He's a growing boy. Leave him alone." Evynne smiled and pushed his shoulder.
"Did you have a good time?" Killian asked as they boarded the ship.
"I did. Thank you Killian, it was a truly amazing night."
"Night isn't quite over." Killian winked.
"Well that was a given." Evynne giggled and pulled him to her by his leather duster planting her lips on his.

Killian pulled away.
"Mm, as painful as that was to break away from a kiss like that, I do have something for you. Last time I was here, I asked for something to be made specially for you, and originally, It was going to be sent to you with a letter, but giving it to you in person is much better."
Killian pulled a small box from his duster and placed it into her hand grinning like he was proud of himself.
Evynne smiled and opened the box and gasped. In the box was a beautiful little necklace with a very familiar stone in it.
"Killian is this the stone I tried to steal from you on the night we met?"
"Aye. The very same. Well.. a piece of it anyhow. I paid for the craftsmanship with the rest of the stone. I carried it in my pocket every day while we were apart and now, you'll always have a piece of it with you." Killian said and picked up the necklace. "May I?" He asked.
Evynnes eyes watered as she nodded and turned around and lifted her hair so he could fasten the necklace around her neck.
Evynne turned back around to face him with tears in her eyes.
"I Love you so much." She said and threw herself into his arms.
"I love you too darling. Happy Anniversary."

Weeks later In Agrabah.

The silk trader in the Bazaar, stood with a sword to his throat.
"These coins, where did you get them?" The man holding the sword demanded.
"A woman, she bought a dress with them." The trader said putting his hands up. "You can have them. Just let me go."
"What did she look like?" The threatening man asked.
"Light brown hair, very bright eyes. They were blue or green depending on how the sun hit them. Very beautiful woman."
"When was this woman here last?"
"At least three weeks ago, She left with a pirate they went north towards Arendell. I know that much, but that is all I know please sir.. I have a family."
The man sighed and pulled his sword away.
"Was it Princess Evynne, Garrison?" Another man asked.
"Undeniably." Garrison nodded and scowled looking down at the coins in his hand.
"What shall we do now?"
"We go north." Garrison said walking away from the trader.
