After the invasion, Santago Bay went into lock down. Fredric Aberforth had managed to hire some English Soldiers to sail out and patrol the area. Victoria wasn't seen without at least two bodyguards and Calypso was also watched over, even though she was a servant.

Santago bay wasn't the same as it used to be, it became silent and tense, people were wary and cautious when speaking with the sailors and no-one dared to go to near the sea for fear of pirates jumping out and kidnapping them. The cheerful, carefree attitude that captivated the sailors and kept the island alive was lost in the heat of the battle which went on for hours before the pirates escaped.

After she had fainted, Calypso was taken down to the kitchens where Eva and Ada fussed over the girl, moping her forehead with a damp rag and feeding her bits of stew from the pot.

"You poor child! You must have been so frightened!"

"Mmmhhmm."

"Having your first kiss stolen from you!"

"Mm."

"If I ever lay eyes on him again I swear I'll-"

"Hush," Eva silenced Bardroy who sunk back into his chair. Calypso, who hadn't really been listening sighed, resting her head on the wooden table, listening to the muffled sounds of the chopping which vibrated through the surface.

Why was that man so familiar?

Why did she find herself longing for his return?

She checked the date for around the fourth time that day her heart dropping when she realised there was still a lengthy time until it had been 2 months. She chuckled quietly to herself. Who would have thought she'd be waiting to be kidnapped!? And by a pirate no less!?

"What's so funny?" Bardroy asked.

"Nothing," she smiled innocently. He raised an eyebrow, seeing right through her lie but didn't press the matter.

"So what was it like?" Ada whispered, grinning deviously as Bardroy and Eva left.

"What was what like?"

"Kissing a pirate! Was he a good kisser or a bad one?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"I suppose...."

"You liked it!" She whispered, fake gasping. Calypsos cheeks flushed a bright tomato red as she attempted to hide her face.

"I never said that!" she spluttered, distracting herself from her embarrassment by chopping food for lunch.

"But you thought it didn't you?!" Ada cackled, joining her in preparing the food.

"I...no!"

"Yes!"

"....fine...." The shy maid gave up her feeble attempts at hiding he truth from her friend and sighed.

"He said he'd be back..."

"He said that!? When!?" Ada exclaimed in shock, pulling a stool to sit in front of her.

"In two months time..."

"That's not long! Did he say why?"

"No. Just that he'd return in 2 months." Calypso sighed.

"This is just like one of my romance novels!" Eva squealed.

"Suppose..but he's a pirate! Aren't pirates evil and mean and thieves?"

"Can't say, I've never met a pirate. If anything, I should be asking YOU what a pirates like, your the one who's been lip locking with a captain no less!" She teased, sweeping the stray curls from her friend's face, smiling comfortingly.

"And besides, who knows? Maybe this is your fairy tale...."
