13. The Maelstrom
Bandana and Rohit remained locked in the cells in the next few days. They didn't talk much either and that always led to awkward moments.
Rohit tried to speak to her many times but she never cooperated so he decided that he will give her time to adjust to the whole situation. He was still shocked about what Bandana revealed and he felt really bad for her... but he was still there for her, his feelings never changed. He couldn't just walk away when she was in such trauma.
On the other hand, Bandana hated herself. She couldn't forget how that guy touched her. It was disgusting. She never ever thought that her life would end up like this: trapped in a movie. The only hope left was that all this will finish as soon as the movie will finish, but it seemed like the movie was going on forever.
They were sitting on the floor of the cell. None of the two muttered a word. It was strangely quiet in there. The other prisoners didn't make noise as well. It was very calm, even the sea seemed to be sleeping. It felt very relaxing.
At the same time many questions were going on in Rohit's mind. Was this all a signal? Is this the peace that comes before the tempest? Or was he just overthinking? It was a very unusual atmosphere. They waited in silence, enjoying it... but nothing lasts forever.

The Captain continued to roam around his messed up cabin. He was very restless. He knew something bad was going to happen. He knew this silence way too well. Danger was near.
He continued to pace back and forth in the room, as if this would stop whatever was going to happen.
Suddenly his foot were stopped by a scream. This was it. He ran,as fast as he could, and reached the deck. He looked around searching for the source.
Finally he found a man standing at the mainmast: the highest spot you can reach in a ship. He was waving a red flag, which was a sign that danger was coming.
The sky, that was cloudless and clear a minute ago, started to cover with grey clouds. The sunlinght was gone with a blink of eye and the wind slowly started blowing.
That's when his eye caught something not so far. A very old ship. As it came nearer he recognised it.
"Aye, we've got an old friend here. You'll remember this meeting as the biggest mistake of your life, Davy Jones" he smirked.
"ALL HAND HOY!!!!!! [EVERYONE GET ON THE DECK] PREPARE THE CANNONS! WE ARE ON BATTLE!!!" he shouted at the top of his voice.
Everyone started coming out and quickly ran to their positions. The weather became worse. The black clouds covered the sky and wind blowed furiously, determined to destroy everything. Prajakta and Sumedh came out of their room running with their swords in their hands.
"Yeh ho kya raha he?!! (What's happening?!!)" Prajakta shouted. "Wakt aa gaya he ki ham apne skills apply kare (It's time to apply our skills)" Sumedh said and ran off to Jack, Prajakta following him.
They finally felt drops of rain hitting their faces. In a matter of seconds the rain got heavier and heavier... the wind wasn't making the battle easier either.
"ATTACK!!!!" Jack shouted at the top of his voice. As soon as he said the word, a blast sounded in the air. That cannon ball missed the ship by an inch. It was on purpose, just to warn the enemy. They waited for their reaction.
***************
On the Flying Dutchman...
Davy Jones woke up with a jerk as soon as he heard a blast. Suddenly a man burst through the door and stood panting in front of the Captain.
"Captain..." he started breathlessly "we are facing the Black Pearl!" He finished. Davy Jones' anger boiled as he heard 'Black Pearl'. His worst enemy showed up again. This time he's not going to escape.
"Get ready. Quick, call everyone on the deck in a flash" he said. The man didn't waste a second more and ran out of the room.
Davy Jones got up and walked out. He was greeted by the harsh rain and wind, but he didn't care. All he wanted was Jack Sparrow dead. There was a chaos going on. Everyone was running around, preparing for the attack.
In the jail, everyone was panicking. They were all screaming for help so they could get out. The ship was moving uncontrollably and that caused people to roll on the floor.
Rohit and Bandana were trying to break the lock. Suddenly Roger came and opened it for them. They quickly got out.
"Roger!! How did you get the key?" Rohit asked hugging his only friend. Roger smiled.
"It's not the right time to answer your questions... a battle is taking place outside!" He said and ran upstairs again. Rohit and Bandana followed him.
They finally got out and they were already soaked in water. Suddenly the ship shook furiously making Bandana loose her balance and roll on the floor. She was about to fall off the ship when she gripped the edge and she started screaming for help.
She looked down and became terrified. It was a maelstrom! There was a big hole in the water and she was going to fall in that hole if she lost her grip.
She was going to die. Her grip on the edge started to loosen as the energy started to leave her body. 'What was the point of living anyways?' She thought. She hated herself and she was fed up. The desire of dying was becoming stronger as seconds passed by. She started to remember her happy moments. The small fights she had with Sumedh. Sumedh. Her crush, who never felt the same for her.
A tear rolled down from her eyes as she closed them. There was a lightening and her hand left the edge, but at the same time another hand grabbed her wrist.
She opened her eyes again and found Rohit standing on the other side of the edge with a scared expression. Shock was written all over his face.
"Bandana! Mera haath mat chodna!!!! (Don't leave my hand!)" He shouted. He put all his force to bring her on the other side of the edge. Finally after loads of efforts he succeded and pulled Bandana on the wet wooden floor.
Rohit's heart was pounding furiously against his chest and he was breathing heavily. He nearly lost Bandana. It was worse than a nightmare for him.
"Bandana, tum think toh ho? (Bandana, are you ok?)" He asked trying to keep calm. Bandana just nodded, unable to speak. She felt a lump forming in her throat. Neither she could gulp it nor she could throw up. She felt so numb. How could she even think of dying? She wasn't that weak... she despised herself even more.
