It's Saturday! Jamie just got home! I see a carrying cage! Yes! She's putting the cage next to me! She's opening it! As soon as she opens it I see a black cat walk out. He's as big as me. " Hi. I'm Midnight. What's your name?" His eyes were yellow and sparkled like a star in the night. " I'm Margaret," I said to him. He walked over to me and rubbed his cheek against mine and said," Nice to meet you." He's nice. Too bad he has to live with a dog, a mouse, a bunny, and a bird. " That's Spot," I pointed with my tail at the bunny. " That's Sky, that's Cheese, and that's Bud," I pointed to the rest of them. His fur fluffed up and he looked twice his normal size. He must have seen Bud. He walks in to a room. I follow him to give him a tour. I don't think he knows I'm behind him because he starts singing the song Tail-fur Blues. ( The cat version to Tailgate Blues.) That's my favorite song.

  "I catch my buzz in the black of night where nobody ever goes and a warm wind blows. If I lose my cool in the open and shows then I'm down and I ain't alright. I search my soul where there is no moon where the trees are crossed and are covered in moss. If the crickets wanna know than I tell them what I losted. Oh I got the tail-fur blues." That was the first chorus. I'm so happy he's doing a duet song, because once he gets to the second chorus, I'll join in. He starts up again." I ain't sure where it all begins. Somewhere 'round here I know. This clearing was a little more crowded then I was playing her Tail-fur show,"  time for me to join in," Now I'm just sittin' here alone." He turns around, still singing. He looks shocked for a moment then happy the next as we go on singing the chorus. We get at the end of the song and he stares at me for a second then says," You're an amazing singer." He looks at me one more time and walks out of the room. I think me and him bonded.  I think me ans him are gonna be great friends.
