Day 7 (7th June 2020) : Favourite movie

I have lots but I would like to mention one particular movie - Dil Se...

That's truely a beautiful movie. All the aspects from direction to acting, cinematography to audio engineering, choreography to songs. It's a whole package. A movie that touches your heart and leaves it's impression.

A main element of the movie is the story and an equally strong characterisation. Be it the lovelorn Amar, the mysterious Meghan and the cheerful Preeti. What adds the beauty to a show or movie is the depth of the characters, their emotions and how the script requires them to express it.

For each emotion, the melodious percussion intruments used in the background add more meaning to each scene, be it romance, pain or joy.

The movie takes you through a journey. A journey of love, love towards your dream, love that gives you a power to achieve.

There is no comparison to the songs, starting from the peppy Chaiyya chaiyya, the passion of Satrangi re, the love in Dil se re, the pain in Ae Ajnabi (I used it in one of my stories because this song has the capacity to bring out the raw pain of love), the excitement of Jiya jale.

The climax was something truely amazing, Amar's struggle to take his love away from the clutches of death and Meghna trying hard to remove Amar from her heart as she walks down the path of her motive. And finally when love wins, not in it's typical way, Amar is successful in stopping her plan and even successful in getting them both liberation to complete their love.

Truely a marvellous movie!
