You were my anchor amongst all the chaos in life

Someone I could turn to, Someone I trusted

You did your best to keep me out of the wrong and into the right

I know you cared

All the warm embraces, The lit smiles, The gleeful laughter

Were those all fake?

Was the only reason you tried to keep me in the right was to forgive your conscious of all your wrong doings?

Weren't we enough for you to love?

Me and my crushed mother     

Did you have to have another?

But hush.

You don't know that I know your dirty big secret.

All the silent tears, broken smiles, burning questions: I kept them hidden

All those lies.

How long did you think you could keep me in the dark?

Did you have any shame at all when your lies flowed from your lips like a never-ending river?

In the end

I'm sorry we weren't enough for you.

The truth is I hate you

You made me this way

Maybe one day I'll learn to forgive you

For leaving me to drown...
