Pain digs deep into my heart

A thousand knifes strike me each more painful than one before

I believed you were a perfect rose

What I didn't see you were a rose with thorns

You moved with the grace of a cat

You had the smile that shamed the sun's light

Eyes that glowed with happiness

What no one saw was the monster underneath

Not until it was to late

An evil smirk graced your lips

Your eyes hungrily drinking in the pain and hurt you created with malice

You didn't think twice when you were about to betray me

Black to your core

Your heart was consumed by evil

Eating your emotions bit by bit until only dead cold stone stood in place

My trust for you diminished like the flame on a candle….while the petals of the rose turned black
