Love is an understatement.

It's the word we use when we don't know what else to say.

We don't just say, "I like you," to your significant other, or one of your closest friends, or family members.

We say love because it's the step up from liking.

But

What's the step up from love?

I don't love you, I've yet to find a word that's stronger than that.
