Chapter 3- Avengers

Clint POV

I stare at the hideous creatures in front of me. There has to be over a hundred. I also notice how we seem to be the only ones in the park. I am shocked out of my stupor when I hear a voice behind me.

"Percy? Are those monsters?" The boy asks. Perseus or Percy stares at all the monsters before glancing down at the children.

"Tell everyone I ran into some mortals when they tried to hurt you and then E came with monsters. I should be fine. I'll be back in the morning. It's not safe to travel at night. Got it?" The kids nod. "Close your eyes." The kids obey and he lays a hand on each of kids shoulders. There is a bright flash a light. So bright I look away. When I look back the kids are gone and Perseus stands covered in an armor of some sort. A helmet with a sea-green/plume. Greek it looks like. A shield strapped to his arm and his sword in the other hand. He looks to us.

"You may want to leave." Before we can comment how ridiculous that is he looks at the array of monsters. "Well uglies you just gonna stand there or we going to play?"

That said he charges forward. Runs up to three dogs as big as a minivan. He slides underneath one and next thing I know golden dust stands in its place. He smiles at the rest who all attack him. I blink before grabbing some arrows and firing at some creepy one eyed thing. My arrows seem to do nothing and simply annoy the things.

"Those won't work Katniss! Same to you Catwoman and Flags!" Perseus yells above the roar. I turn to see Tony up high in his suit along with Thor striking down everything they can. Maybe I can use the trick arrows!

Hulk is smashing... Natasha and Steve are having the same problem as me. I see Perseus.

The monsters are drawn to him. I notice a few girls in ripped cheerleaders outfits. They have red eyes, fangs, fire like hair, their legs are strange as well. One looks metal the other like a horse?

"Perseus Jackson," One hisses. Perseus doesn't turn around from his fight with a seal thing.

"Sup Kelli!" He yells. "You ready to die again? What will this be death number 3! Wow. Your just like meat head always comin back for more! What he couldn't join the party?" He kills the seal thing and glances at the girls. I shake myself out of it and fire a few more exploding arrows into the fray.

I suddenly see many monsters stumble or fall but we remain standing. I don't question and use it to my advantage. I fire a few more arrows but cry out at something scratches my back. I yell out a cry of pain. I whirl around to see a bat type lady. She smiles evilly but then dissolves as an ice spear goes trough her. I feel burning in my back.

"It's poisonous. Can kill you. This make hurt a bit." Perseus voice says shakily. I stare at him surprised. He simply moves to my back. I feel a bit of pain before it's gone.

"It may still hurt but it won't kill you. Here," He says handing me a quiver or arrows he got from no where. These will kill them. Give these to Flags and Catwoman," He says handing me four daggers.

"Thanks?" I say but it comes out as a question.

"Not me. Thank Heph." Before I can ask he runs back off. I fire a few arrows and watch satisfied as the monsters die. I sprint to Nat and Cap.

"Here," I say tossing them the daggers. They looks confused but begin stabbing the monsters. I continue to pick then off.

Soon I feel wind around me. And it's wet.

"Oh my God," Steve says amazed. I turn to see Perseus hovering in the air a hurricane whirling around him. I step back and hit a wall. A wall made of ice. The wind and water stops around our small safe haven. Around monsters die.

"Yo! Hammer guy! Lighting!" Perseus voice yells above the storm though it sounds strained. Thor quickly calls upon some lighting and zaps the monsters. Electrocuting them all. Soon the ground is littered in the golden dust. The winds die down and so does our ice cage.

I stare at Perseus in awe and I see the other do the same. He lands on the ground looking a bit tired. He has a few cuts and bruises but the weirdest thing is he is bleeding gold. He looks himself over. Before mutters,

"Styx she's gonna kill me." Sticks? "Turn around."

"Why should we-" Tony starts, he is interrupted by a bright flash of light which causes us to look away. When it dies down I look back to Perseus. He is dressed back in his black clothes and blue sweatshirt. A glass of water, a flask, and a bag of candy in his hands. He pours the glass of water on his head before taking a sip of the flask and takes a bite of the candy. He offers some to Thor who declines. The stuff vanishes and his eyes land on me. I mentally shrink away.

I think back to not long ago when he stared- glared at me and I felt pain everywhere. Though eyes soften a bit before hardening again when he looks at me.

"Your back?" He asks.

"Fine thanks," I answer surprised. He nods and turns around and begins to walk away.

"Wait where are you going?" Tony shouts. "You gonna explain that? Or this whole war thing!? Or why you murdered on of our agents?" At the word murdered he flinches. He doesn't turn around but he speaks.

"No I won't. And I'm sorry about you agent. I didn't have a choice. And I am mostly likely going... Places." Thor tries.

"Perseus-"

"Percy. Just Percy."

"Percy. I have heard of your heroics. If that man in Erebus it is not wise to travel at night. You told your siblings that. You can come with us to the Tower. You can explain things if you wish. If not you may simply leave from there." Percy pauses.

"You got food?"

"Yes."

"Why didn't you say that? Lead the way," He says turning around smiling.

We arrive at the Tower and head to the kitchen. Fury was called once we got there. Perseus opens the fridge to find two left over pizzas. He smiles and devours them both in under five minutes. We all stare at him open mouthed. He rolls his eyes out our expressions.

"I get hungry deal with it. Where's the bathroom?"

Percy POV

"Down the hall to the left," I nod and head the bathroom. Once in I create some mist and throw in a drachma.

"O, Fleecy do me a solid. Show me Poseidon. Olympus." The image shimmer before I see dad sitting at his throne.

"Dad?" He blinks and looks down at me.

"Percy where are you?" I sigh before telling the events of this evening. When I finish he pauses.

"You will have to explain it to them. The god could be helpful. That proves Hecate has been captured the Mist is failing. We don't have much time. Do what you must but come back soon. I saw a certain daughter of Athena sharpening her sword," He chuckles.

"Bye Dad." He nods and wipes a hand through the Iris Message. I walk back out to the group where I see a familiar ish guy in a trench coat. He has a bunch minions along with him. He glares at me.

"Perseus Jackson," He says coldly while glaring. I shrug and lean up against a wall.

"Eyepatch." He glare again and I don't flinch. He seems surprised. "Detain him." The minions move forward.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Cosplay warns.

"I actually agree," Metal guy or since he took it off Ego says. I nod in agreement.

"Yeah Eyepatch. You should listen to Cosplay and Ego over there. I could leave if I wanted too. Though one of you could be an asset so I choose to stay." He doesn't seem to care and nods at his minions. I hold up a hand and watch as the seven minions freeze in place.

"What did you do?"

"Magic."

"What did you do?" He growls glaring.

"Wow Eyepatch. You need to learn how to glare. As for what I did it's not important. Now of you would like answers you agree to send your minions away. Turn off the cameras and be a good boy."

Natasha POV

I watch amused as Percy annoys Fury.

Turn off the cameras and be a good boy," Percy says. I hear Tony snort in laughter beside me. But it ends quickly. Because in less than a moment Fury fires three shots at the kid.

A gasp escapes my mouth. When I look back to the kid he stands unharmed.

"Wow someone's feisty. Now how about we abide by my rules. You don't really have a choice. I can do it myself or I can call in, reinforcements." Fury lowers his gun. Percy nods. He lowers his hand and the other Agents regain control of their body.

Ten minutes later it's only the Avengers, Fury and Perseus in a camera, sound proof room. After checking it for bugs and making sure the room in extra bright Percy perches himself on the table rather than in the chair.

"So what do you know about Greek Gods?" He asks.

"Like the myths? Who cares? It's not real," Tony says. I hear thunder rumble. Percy rolls his eyes at the sound.

"I'd watch what you say Ego. Because Drama Queen can be a stalker!" He yells the last part. Thunder rumbles again to his reply as if it heard him.

"Yeah yeah we get it!" He says shaking his head. "Actually can I know your real names first? Though I like my nicknames. Catwoman?"

"Natasha Romanoff or Blackwidow," I reply.

"Flags?"

"Steve Rogers. Captain America."

"Giant green nerd?" Tony gives a snort of laughter.

"Bruce Banner. Hulk."

"Cosplay?"

"Thor Odinson. Norse god of thunder."

"Norse? Great," He says sarcastically. As if Thor being god doesn't faze him.

"What is Cosplay?"

"Later. Eyepatch?"

"Nick Fury. Dicretor of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"I like Eyepatch better. I'm keeping that. I'm keeping Ego too. But what's you name?"

"Tony Stark or Iron Man. But ego really?"

"Yup. You were Metal guy but your not wearing it anymore. Anyway back on topic. I'm Perseus- Percy Jackson as you know. Now just as Thor is real. So are Greek Gods." He pauses to let that sink in.

"You're a god?" Clint asks in a small voice. Can't blame the guy. He did kidnap his siblings.

"Yes. No. Not a first. I'll explain. First I was a demigod. Half mortal. Half god. My father is Poseidon. God of the sea, earthquakes and horses."

"I had thought you declined immortality? And died?" Thor asks. Died?

"I'm getting to that. Anyway long story short I found out when I was 12 and went to camp for other demigods."

"There are more of you? How come we didn't know?" Fury questions.

"No. I'm the only one in existence. That why I go to a summer camp for them. Anyway there is the Mist.It's a veil which keeps mortals from seeing the truth. Though Hecate controls the Mist and she has been captured causing it to fade.

"Now stop interrupting. I ended up leading the army and fighting a war at 16. My 16th birthday actually. We fought Kronos. King of the Titans. When the war was over. We lost many but we won. The gods were willing to give me immortality but I declined. Eight months later we joined the Romans during a swap thing and we joined to fight a war against Gaea. The Primordial of the Earth. Once again we won at a heavy toll. I even fell into the Pit." He pauses and shudders at the memory. Whatever this Pit is.

"Once again I was given the same offer and declined. A while later on the day before my wedding- yes I was getting married at 18. Demigods are lucky to live to 16. Especially a kid of the Big Three.- I was walking back to Camp when I was attacked. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but, there were two small kids and I couldn't fight and carry them. I was slashed and brought the kids to safety but died of blood loss."

"Woah. Woah. Woah. You died?" Tony says.

"Yup," He answers casually as if talking about the weather. "Now the Fates control life basically. Instead of killing me completely. They kept me and trained me in secret on an island for three years. The trained me to fight in this conning war. They turned me into a god against my will. The war. We must fight Kronos again. And Nyx and Erebus. Primordial of the Night and Darkness. That's why I freaked on you earlier. I thought you where with them. Now the reason I am telling you this is because Thor we need you.

"You are a god. We need an army. Will you help?" Thor nods. "Good. You can come to Olympus with me tomorrow."

"Olympus? Like Greece?" Banner asks.

"No. Olympus is located on the 600th floor of the Empire State Building. Yes it's there."

"Your really a god?" I state but it comes out like a question.

"Of what?" Clint asks.

"Swordsmanship, Loyalty and Tropical Storms. Also I'm sorry for hurting you. You hurt my family, I reacted."

"It's fine. I get it. But how did you?"

"I can manipulate water. Blood is liquid. I can control blood." Clint pales a bit and Percy smirks.

"What of you and Lady Annabeth if you are now a god? And how may you fight amongst demigods?" Thor asks.

"It's... Complicated. I was made a god recently those laws are ancient. Plus I'm not known for following rules. I got kicked out of 6 schools."

"How?" Tony presses.

"Blew up stuff during monster attacks. A gym. A music hall. I've blown up a lot of stuff during attacks actually. A bus, St. Louis Arch, Mount St. Helens. To name a few."

"You blew up a volcano?" Fury growls.

"If I said I did. I did."

"Where are your parents? We were there for two weeks no one came home. What's the pit?" I ask. Percy pales quickly and his eyes flash. But it is gone as soon as it appeared. His face is stony but his eyes hold fear and sadness.

"My parents were killed," He forces out. "Kronos killed them along with a few of my friends. I took my siblings and gave them my blessing so they can live with me. The Pit... Is Tartarus. The place even gods fear to go. Imagine Hell on steroids. It's where monsters go when they die. They go there and reform. It could take hours or thousands of years. You can kill it once but it will always come back," He says emotionless. As he speaks he stares at the floor.

"Only three have gone and survived. One was captured. Annabeth and I- we fell. 18 days. 18 days. We were stuck in there. Almost dying constantly. We came out broken and never the same. Flashbacks and nightmares. They stopped when I died though..." He trails off and stares into nothing and I feel bad for the kid. He's only 21. Yet he has been through more than probably most on the planet. After a moment he looks up.

"You got a place I can sleep?"
