Rey woke up from her sleep and did what any kid would she ran into her parents room to wake them up; but the weren't there. Confused, she went to the kitchen to look for them but they weren't there either." Mommy! Daddy!" A lump formed in Rey's throat as she started to cry. " We're out here sunshine!" Rey bolted from out the door and ran to her parents hugging them hard.

"Oh baby we didn't mean to scare you." Her father said petting her head. " We have a surprise for you darling." Her mother cooed while hiding something behind her back." What is it? Can I see?" Rey's parents chuckled then her mother pulled out her surprise.

"Wow!" Rey ran and took it from her mother's hands holding it like it would shatter. " We're glad you like it." Rey tried to spin it in her hands but fell onto the sand. " I'm too short!" She pouted narrowing her eyes at her staff next to her. " You'll grow and get the hang of it. These things just take time." Her father said helping her up and handing her her staff.

" Alright get inside soldiers." Her mother joked urging them into the house. While Rey and her mother were inside cooking breakfast Talon looked over his shoulder and gazed into the horizon. A look of fear and panic flashed in his eyes but then it was gone just like it had appeared.

"Are you ok Honey?" Shira asked her husband putting a hand on his shoulder. " I'm wonderful." Talon smiled weakly unnoticed by his wife.
