Sometimes a writer gets an idea for a story that nags the hell out of them. It's all they think about. It literally drives them crazy.

It happened to me when I first got the idea for "Patches".

I posted a few days ago, that I was going to be bringing a few of my books to an end. I had way too many active books. But then this story idea hit me.

I threw the idea to my buddy ObsessedwithChance , we talked about it for hours. Both of us throwing ideas into it.

I have only collaborated one time since I have been writing. I normally am a lone writer. But she was just as excited about this idea as I was.

So, I asked her to write it with me and she agreed.
