Goldenrod Gambling and Blackthorn Bustling

No, this ain't actually gonna let you gamble, Gold! Just a way of saying things while *trying to* do alliteration...

"So, what should we focus on first?" Platinum inquired calmly.

"Like Gold's mom said," Red replied. "Goldenrod City, ask around,"

"Uh, when did she say that?" Gold asked, puzzled.

"When you were skateboarding away, shouting 'Let's go!'" Crystal rolled her eyes.

"Oh, that's what she was saying!' Gold exclaimed.

Silver just sighed in response.

"Well, team, off to Goldenrod we go!" Gold hollered, skateboarding around in circles.

The answers ranged from "Since when were we a team?" (Silver) to "Yay team! Hey, at Goldenrod City, may we shop a little?" (Platinum), but in the end everyone agreed with Gold and they headed off.

~~Time Skip~~

The group had arrived at Goldenrod City. It was full of bustling people, hurrying from here to there to outside of the town.

"Where do we start?" Green asked.

"We should split into groups," Crystal thought aloud. "One group go to the Game Center, one to the Northeast area, and one group to the Southwest area,"

"Good idea, SSG!" Gold grinned. "I say you, me, and Silver go to the Game Center with Blue. Red, Yellow, Emerald, and Green go southwest, and Ruby, Sapphire, Platinum, Diamond, and Pearl can go northeast!"

Crystal thought it over for a bit, then nodded hesitantly. "Okay."

Everybody split into their groups and headed toward their assigned location. Gold, Crystal, Silver, and Blue headed off to the Game Center.

"Gold!" Crystal scolded Gold for what seemed like the 20 millionth time. Gold had been eyeing the pool tables while they were asking people.

"Hey, it's just instinct," He argued.

"Gold, watching people isn't instinct. You're doing it long enough to be able to tear yourself away,"

"Darnit..."

They came to the next person, at a pool table. Gold's hands itched to play, but he shoved those thoughts aside and focused on asking the man about Maddox.

"Mister, have you heard about a guy named Maddox? Used to be married to Cora, my mom, probably with a woman named Star?"

The man had shaggy black hair, and he was thin, like he didn't eat much. "Why yeah. But ya gotta beat me in a game of pool to get me to tell ya," He winked. "Or just give me one of those lassies there."

Blue shuddered. "Uh, Gold can play you in pool."

"Sweet! I can play!" Gold pumped a fist in the air.

Crystal facepalmed.

In the end, Gold won. Of course. So the man and some of his buddies took them to a corner to share what they knew.

"Maddox was our friend since you," He waved a hand at Gold, "Were born! Why, he was a-good at pool too! Well, one day he just appeared outta nowhere at 4:30 when only we were here sayin' he was a-goin' ta leave this area and go find that woman Star. Left the Poke House, he said, an' we never saw him again. He went over by Blackthorn City, somethin' like that. We're the only ones ta know dis though, so you ain't getting better info then what we gave ya."

"Thanks," Silver nodded. "Let's go."

The group left to meet up with the other two groups.

"Any luck?" Red asked the other group.

"No," Platinum replied. "Most of the civilians did not even know who we were referring to!"

The two groups were heading to the Goldenrod Park, where they'd meet up with Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Blue and were talking while heading there.

Sooner or later, they met with the last group.

"Any luck?" Green asked, highly doubting they did.

"Definitely!" Gold gave him a thumbs-up. "He went to Blackthorn City. Let's go!"

So, Emerald told Hoopa where to get them, and they stepped through the ring to Blackthorn City.

~~At Blackthorn City~~

"Now what?" Red asked, looking around. "How do we find one family in a whole town?"

"We do what we did at Goldenrod City," Green replied. "Same groups so it's faster?"

"Sure!" Gold grinned. "3 neighborhoods, each of us go to 1 of them!"

Everyone split up yet again and went to a different neighborhood.

~

"Cliffpond? It sounds ominous..." Gold muttered.

"We're here," Silver raised his head from the position where it was, staring at the ground. "We might as well get on with it."

"True," Crystal mused. "Let's go!"

Gold, Crystal, Silver, and Blue ventured into the unfamiliar neighborhood.

After numerous attempts to ask about information and having to dash out, finally someone responded. It was a middle-aged woman with a little girl who looked about 6.

"Pokemon trainers?" The woman asked, noticing the Poke balls the group had. "We don't get those very often. Always to the gym, they go."

"Yes, we're Pokemon trainers," Gold said. "Do you know anything about a woman named Star?"

"Oh!" The little girl jumped. "She was- was- that woman next door! You said she left over the sea!"

"Yes, that's what happened," The woman said. "Sorry. If it helps, she went to Kalos, in Coumarine City."

"S'fine!" Gold replied. He turned to the rest of the group. "Hear that? We gotta catch a flight to Coumarine!"

They trudged wearily to the Blackthorn Gym, the meeting spot.

~

"So... we have to go overseas? Wow, this was way harder then it seemed at first," Red mused.

"Well, let me see..." Platinum scrolled through flight ticket reservations, clicked a few things, and sent what was apparently an online plane ticket to everybody. Everyone opened the file...

"You bought us FIRST CLASS?!?!" Gold exclaimed. "Damn, you sure are rich!"

"First class?!?! I never thought I could go on one of those!" Diamond grinned like a maniac.

"Let us go, then!" Platinum started to walk to the airport. Everyone hurried and followed her.

~

"Welcome! Are you all Miss Berlitz's friends?" The flight attendant asked.

"Yes, they are, thank you," Platinum led the group to the first-class area of the plane. "Here we are. I'm sorry I couldn't get our family's jet, so this will have to do,"

"Will have to do?!" Gold shrieked. "This whole damn thing is awesome enough! Do we get good food?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Diamond had located the menu already and was skimming through it.

"Uh, how does this work?" Crystal asked. "are all these rooms ours, Platinum?!?"

"Hrm?" Platinum turned toward Crystal. "Yes, they are! I booked 2 four-person rooms, 3 three-person rooms, and 1 two-person room. I figured we'd split up by region,"

"Okay!" Blue herded Red, Yellow, and Green into the first room. "Everyone get settled-"

"Then, we'll meet here," Gold gestured to the floor beneath them.

Everyone went into their respective rooms.

~With the Johto Crew~

"Aw yeah! This is sweet!" Gold grinned, looking at the room in front of them.

Silver retreated into a corner. With a blanket. That he'd dragged from a random bed. And silently said he'd sleep there.

"Uhhhhhh....." Gold shrugged before hurling himself onto a bed. "Ah, this is great!"

"Idiot," Crystal rolled her eyes.

~With the Kantonians~

"Pillow fight!" Blue declared.

"Yeah! Well, tonight! After the meeting!" Red agreed.

"Um... Pillow fight?" Yellow nervously questioned.

"Hey!" Let's do a team fight! Me and Green vs. you and Yellow!" Blue told Red.

"Still, what's a pillow fight?" Poor innocent Yellow asked Red.

"We throw pillows at the other team!" Red told her.

"Oh," Yellow nodded.

"Soo... I'm with Ms. Pesky Woman?" Green sighed. "Fine,"

"Aw, Greenie!" Blue poked him. "You love me and you know it!"

"The flip?!?"

Yeah I cut the meeting out but it was boring so whatever XD

Should I put the pillow fight in?
