On a beach, you were sitting on a foldout chair.

"It's been a long time since I've been to the beach, and one on an island at that. I'm really glad to have accepted the trip to Jabberwock Island."

You heard the sound of walking from afar, and you looked to see Peko.

Peko: "Hey, everyone's having food. Want to come join us?"

"And see how much Akane goes through? Heck yeah."

Peko: "I won't lie, seeing Teruteru trying to keep up with how much she and Nekomaru eat is a pretty interesting sight. I feel like those two metabolisms are different."

"Yeah, if they can consume several pounds of meat."

You and Peko went over to the others and saw the small party they are having. Hiyoko and Ibuki are doing their version of a duet and Mahiru is taking pictures of them.

"Peko, want to see a cool trick I've been working on since I was a kid?" you asked, holding two watermelons.

Peko: "Sure."

You tossed the watermelons up and used your katanas to slice it into large pieces.

Peko: "Impressive. Can I try that?"

"Don't let me stop ya."

Peko grabbed a watermelon and tossed it up in the air before using her katana to slice it into the shape of a dragon.

"Amazing!" you clapped.

Peko: "Well, I had only one watermelon so the precision was easier."

Everyone grabbed the watermelon pieces and ate them while you and Peko went for a walk.

"So, you and the others come here once a year?"

Peko: "Yeah. This place is special to us. We've had a lot of fun moments here, and it's kinda where Mikan started to become less clumsy over the years. Although it started bitter at first."

"Is this the one about the Neo World Program thing?"

Peko: "The one we signed up for and got trapped in for nearly a month? Yes, it is, but we had a lot of time to reflect. Especially those who needed to go to "Detention", which is a glorified solitary confinement space. Luckily, it had a few things that kept them from losing their minds. So, silver lining as a schoolmate of mine would say."

"That's one way of saying it, but I have a feeling you guys don't want to get in that thing any time soon."

Peko: "Oh heck no. I'm not getting in there no matter what."

"Yeah," you chuckled.

You saw how pretty Peko looked and blushed.

Peko: "Y/N, are you okay?"

"Yeah, just, surprised at how pretty you look."

Peko: "Oh, thanks."

After a few minutes of silence, you asked "Should we join the others again?"

Peko: "Yeah, we've been gone long enough."

You and Peko walked back to join the others for the rest of the party.
