~a few weeks before Sabre, Moose, and Ryan got the job~

The three girls walked down the sidewalk, talking to one another.

"Wonder what the boss is like?" Asked the blonde hair girl, adjusting her hat.

"Probably cool!" Peace exclaimed back happily while jumping up and down, making her blonde and blue hair jump as well.

The red haired girl shrugged while crossing her arms. "I'm only here to protect you guys from harm."

"Awww, come on! You love us!" Peace giggled, hugging Skye and Kate.

Kate giggled too as she hugged her friend back.

"We're here," Skye said, getting out of the hug.

Peace gasped, and quickly adjusted her grey sweater with little bubbles on it. "Do I look good?"

"Of course you do, chill," Kate answered, patting her back.

"Besides, from what I've heard, he barely gets any night guards," Skye reassured, opening the door for her friends.

The three walked in to be greeted by a red haired girl. "Hello! How may I help you?"

"W-well, we, uh," Peace stuttered, a bit shy and stressed a bit.

"We're here for the interview," Skye finished.

The redhead nodded. "I'll let Boss know right away!"

She began walking away, but she turned back and said, "I'm Colleen by the way," before walking off.

"Are you alright?" Kate asked Peace, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Peace nodded. "J-just nervous!" She squeaked.

"Boss will see you now," Colleen said, walking up to the three girls.

They nodded and went to the direction Colleen pointed to.

"Ready?" Kate asked.

The other two nodded as Kate knocked on the door softly.

"Come in," A muffled voice said from inside.

They entered the room, Peace closing the door behind them. "Hello ladies."

The three sat in the chairs in front of the man's desk. "Hello sir," Skye answered back.

"Before we begin, let's start with a simple greeting." He cleared his throat. "My name is Purple Guy, but once you start working here, call me Boss."

"Y-yes Boss!" Peace said, doing a small solute.

He chuckled slightly. "I think I'll like you Miss?" "Peace," She finished.

He nodded. "And you two?"

"I'm Kate, this is Skye."

Skye waved slightly, then crossed her arms.

"Stubborn," He mumbled.

"Well, come check with me tomorrow, how about for lunch?" Boss asked.

The three nodded. "Around 11 I'll be open."

"That's good! We'll be too!" Kate answered.

Boss nodded and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, good day," He said, turning his chair around to face the wall.

They exchanged confused glares before leaving the room.

"I don't like him," Skye blurted as they closed the door.

"Skye! That's rude!" Peace retorted back, obviously upset at Skye's manners.

She shrugged as a response. "Don't tell me you don't think he's a bit odd?"

"Well, I can't decline that, he did seem odd," Kate added.

Peace sighed in defeat. "True."

"He was rather odd."
