Third Person's POV

Doctor Eggman went head-to-head with Sonic and Brody, but the hedgehog and the wolf hammered him big time!

The military ships, planes, and satellites are seaching for Eggman "Did he survive?" The navy captain asks "Did he escape?" A pilot asks "Where is Dr. Eggman?" The military personnel asks.

*At the White House*

"Where is Dr. Eggman? I need to know if he survived the attack on his ship!" The president asks "We're searching the area near the crash site to see if there's any sign of him" His third aide said "If we don't track down that madman soon, he's going to strike back!" The president said and pounds his fist on the desk "Find him!" He said "Right" the P.T.A said and heads out. The President appears bored, for he stares for a while, then sighs and looks out the window.

*Meanwhile beneath the ocean*

Eggman, Bocoe, and Decoe are huddled together in a small room aboard the Egg Fort. Eggman chuckles. Bocoe and Decoe are very nervous "Doctor..." Decoe said "Quiet! Don't make a sound. There's a search team up there listening for us. If they hear us, we are done for" Eggman said "sorry" Decoe said and the trio stay quiet as a military submarine passes directly over them. Then they breathe a sigh of relief. Eggman pushes his two hench-bots aside "Now go outside and get this ship patched up, you lead heads!" Eggman said "Outside, in the water?" Decoe asks "But we will short-circuit" Bocoe said "Not to mention rust" Decoe said.

*Meanwhile at the Thorndyke mansion living room*

Ella, Chris, Tails, Turbo, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are seated at the table for mealtime "Are you ready for dessert?" Ella asks "Yeah!" Amy, Tails, Turbo and Chris said "Chao!" Cheese said and Chuck enters "I'm glad you're here. I have good news!" Chuck said "What kind of good news, Chuck?" Tails asks as Tanaka is also with Chuck. He is holding a tray containing various government documents "I'm going to hand out some official documents issued by the government that you'll need to hang on to" Chuck said "Documents?" Turbo asks blinking "Yes, to verify your identity" Chuck said and the documents are soom passed out. Amy holds up two of the documents "But what for?" Amy asks "They'll help you prove who you are when you travel around" Chuck said "And for Tails and Turbo, we have special licenses that'll allow them to fly any kind of aircraft they can build to any destination on the planet" He said to Tails and Turbo as the two are holding numerous documents "All these just to fly?" Tails and Turbo ask "They never needed them before" Chris said "Well, that's the price Tails, Turbo and the others have to pay for being made residents of this place. From now on, they're going to have to follow the same rules and regulations as the rest of us" Chuck said and Tanaka nods and as the two speak with Cream, Amy opens one of her documents and looks at it "Uh..." Amy said as there in the corner, is a picture of Amy in battle with her hammer "I look terrible!" Amy said and Tanaka, Chris, and Cream crowd around her "Really?" Tanaka asks "You do?" Chris asks "Let me see" Cream said "Chao" Cheese said "Why did they have to use this picture? I look like a lunatic!" Amy said "Now now, Miss Amy. I wouldn't say that it makes you look like a lunatic exactly" Tanaka said "It makes me look like an insane, off-the-wall, out-of-control maniac" Amy said "I HATE IT!!" She yells and Sonic and Brody enter "Hey there, guys. What's all the excitement I hear about in here?" Sonic asks "Sonic, Brody, just in time. I've got your documents, too" Chuck said and hands Sonic and Brody a document each "Here. Always keep this with you" Chuck said "Oh? What's this for?" Brody asks "It's a passport, so you can go wherever you want whenever you want to!" Chris said "Pretty cool. Brody and I do like to travel. If We went everywhere We wanted to go on this whole planet, it'd take us..." Sonic said and he and Brody look at each other and chuckle " ...about a day!" Sonic and Brody said.

Later outside, the X-Tornado is out on the runway. Tails, Turbo, Chris, Amy, Cream and Cheese are inside, and Sonic and Brody are on the back of it "Bye, everybody!" Amy said "We'll see you later!" Cream said "Chao chao!" Cheese said "You be careful up there! No funny stuff!" Ella said "Bye, Grandpa! I'll see ya!" Chris said "I'll be waiting" Chuck said nodding and the palm trees bend to either side of the runway "X-Tornado, take off!" Turbo said and pulls back on the throttles, and the X-Tornado takes off. Ella and Tanaka wave "Tanaka, go keep an eye on Chris, but make sure he doesn't see you" Chuck said "Yes, sir. I will be invisible" Tanaka said beaming.

On the X-Tornado, Amy is reading a magazine "Oh, Amy, are we going to go somewhere that's sunny?" Cream asks "Uh-huh. Look. ... The Grand Blue Sapphire Sea" Amy said and shows the magazine to Cream "This travel guide says it's one of the most beautiful places on the whole planet!" Amy said and sighs "I bet their sunsets are very romantic..." She said "Hey Amy, do your read me?" Chris asks and Amy becomes alert "Check out the scenery down there. It's really pretty awesome" Chris said pointing down "I'm not looking. I only care about one thing..." Amy said and returns to the magazine "...and that's getting to the sea ASAP" Amy said beaming "But I'm trying to tell you, we're flying over the Grand Blue Sapphire Sea right now!" Chris said and Amy, Cream, and Cheese look out the window "Wow! The water looks amazing!" Amy said "It's so beautiful!" Cream said "Chao chao!" Cheese said "Yeah! I wanna go swim! And go waterskiing too!" Amy said "Let's all go sailing!" Cream said "chao!" Cheese said "Yeah! I can't wait!" Chris said beaming "Hey, Chris" Tails said "What's wrong?" Chris asks "Check out the Chaos Emerald" Turbo said as the Chaos Emerald is glowing "Could it be another Emerald?" Chris asks and suddenly the X-Tornado begins to shake "Hey! What's goin' on?" Brody asks "The same thing happened when we were flying over Diamond Stadium. And that means..." Tails said "Since we're flying over water, there must be a Chaos Emerald underwater!" Cream said "You're right, Cream" Amy said "We have to go find it" Chris said "Hang on! I see a landing spot. I'm gonna take us down!" Turbo said and the X-Tornado speeds toward a coatal town.

*At Coatal town*

Sonic and Brody stretch "Nice place here. ... Let's try to leep a low profile, okay, guys?" Sonic asks as he and Brody lead the group toward the beach "Hey! Aren't those Sonic the Hedgehog and Brody the Wolf?" A man asks "Yes. It is them" a woman said "I wonder what they're doin' here?" A teen asks and suddenly they notice a crowd of people running their way with cameras and notebooks for autographs "Let's get their autographs!" The people said "Aah! Stampede!" Chris said "We'd better get outta here quick!" Brody said and they flee from the crowd.

Later at the beach, having evaded the crowd, Chris, Tails, Turbom, Amy, Cream, and Cheese are panting on the beach "We can't escape crowds no matter where we go" Chris said "Being famous isn't any fun. I wish we could just blend in with the crowd, but that seems impossible" Amy said "We all stick out too much" Cream said "It was a lot easier when we had to hide out at your house" Turbo said and Tails nodded "Well, at least we lost that crowd for a little while" Chris said "Yeah! Why don't we all go for a swim while we have a chance?" Amy asks "Hey..." Cream said "Huh?" Tails, Turbo, Chris and Amy ask "Didn't Sonic and Brody run here with us? Where did they go?" Cream asks "Huh?" Tails asks "Maybe they decided to look for the Chaos Emerald by themselves" Chris said and begins looking for Sonic and Brody "Sonic! Brody! Where are you? Hey! Sonic! Brody! ... I wish they didn't have to always do things on their own..." Chris said "You talkin' about us?" Sonic asks and Chris spots Sonic behind a sand dune laying leaning his head against it "So there you are. I thought you'd be looking for the Chaos Emerald, not taking it easy" Chris said "That Chaos Emerald's out there somewhere, but I can't find it unless I get to the bottom and stay there for awhile" Sonic said and Chris looks out at the ocean "So the big problem is how to get you an air supply down there, right?" Chris asks "Leave it to me!" He said giving a thumbs up "Nuh-uh I'm not going in the water no matter what" Sonic said "Huh? But then how..." Chris said "That's why Brody is looking for it as he can swim" Sonic said "OW!" Brody said swimming back up and Chris and Sonic look seeing a crab was on Brody's tail "You dumb crab!" Brody said grabbing the crab and throws it in the ocean "Owww my poor tail" Brody said rubbing and goes to Sonic "There there my wolfer" Sonic said rubbing Brody's tail "Any luck Brody?" Chris asks "No, I can't find the emerald befoe I ran out of air" Brody said sniffing.

Later, Chris leads everyone toward a dive shop "If we're gonna search underwater, the best way to go is to rent some scuba gear. You always need to use some professional equipment or else diving can be really dangerous" Chris said.

In the dive shop, "We'll need five air tanks, plus flippers, and a pair of goggles for me. I should have enough money with me to pay for all the diving equipment and the boat. How much will that all cost, sir?" Chris asks the shop owner "Forget it. You don't owe me a dime" the shop owner said and Chris looks suprised "The government sent a notice to all shop owners that it'll cover your bills as part of its Sonic and Brody budget. Is there anything else I can get for you guys?" The owner asks and Chris is amazed "It might help if you told me what you are diving for" The shop owner said "Uh, we're going to see... Uh.." Chris said and is distracted by a model boat "Wow! This awesome ship model is exactly like the one in that painting, right?" Chris asks "Yeah. They're the same. You see, this ship was lost at sea a long time ago, and there's a legend that it sank near here with a huge load of gold. Folks here think the legend is true" The shop owner said. Soon, everyone leaves the shop, except the owner "Thanks! Let's get the boat, guys" Chris said "Take care, and have fun!" The shop owner said "I hope they find what they're looking for" He said after they leave.

*Back at the ocean*

Soon, everyone is in a boat out in the ocean. Chris, Amy, and Cream are in their swimsuits "Remember to take long, deep breaths and you'll be okay" Chris said "Right" Brody said "Then let's go!" Chris said and puts his breather on and dives into the water "You all set, Brody?" Sonic asks "Yup. Be back soon" Brody said and kisses Sonic's cheek "Good luck my wolfer" Sonic said and watches Brody, Tails, Turbo, Amy, and Cream dive into the water as well.

*Meanwhile at the Egg Fort*

The Egg Fort suddenly surfaces "All right, you two, get to work!" Eggman said "Underwater repairs are the worst" Decoe said "My circuits get soaked" Bocoe said and the TV turns on "Now it's time for the SSTV Sonic and Brody news update. After defeating Dr. Eggman, Sonic, Brody and their friends are taking a much-deserved holiday" A news reporter said "Holiday?! They get a holiday?!" Eggman asks "Sonic and Brody are goof-off! We work harder than they do!" Bocoe said "We have never had a day off since we were activated!" Decoe said "This is unfair!" He said "Robots need vacations too!" Bocoe said "I'll make Sonic and Brody pay..." Eggman said.

*Back at the ocean*

The six divers swim near the ocean floor. Tails, holding the Chaos Emerald, leads the way "The Chaos Emerald's getting brighter. We must be getting closer!" Tails said "Hey, look!" Chris said and they stop swimming when they see something "Whoa!" Chris said when they find that they have arrived at the wreckage of a ship "That must be the ship the guy in the diving shop told me about" Chris said "It looks like that's where we'll find the Chaos Emerald, too" Turbo said "Then what are we waitin' for? Let's go check it out" Brody said and they proceed toward the wreckage.

Back on the surface, Bokkun is flying through the skies and he spots the abandoned boat "Ha! Gotcha!" Bokkun said but at a closer inspection, he finds that neither Brody nor his friends are there "Huh?" Bokkun asks as the boat's only occupant are Sonic and Cheese, who is asleep "Why Sonic is not with Brody?" Bokkun asks confused.

*Back at the Egg Fort*

Eggman is reclining in a deck chair on the Egg Fort's deck. Decoe is holding an umbrella over him, and Bocoe is fanning him "Heheh! While I'm waiting to catch Sonic and Brody, I'll catch a few rays too!" Eggman said when Bokkun arrives "Love the bathing suit, Doc! Did you get that in prison?" Bokkun asks "Well, Bokkun. I bet Sonic and Brody were feeling really blue after you gave them that message for me, weren't they?" Eggman asks "Well..." Bokkun said and pulls out his TV and plays the message "Having a nice, vacation, Sonic and Brody? I hope you aren't. I hope you forget to use sunscreen and get burnt!" Eggman said  in the TV "Wait. This message was supposed to self-destruct after you played it for Sonic and Brody! ...Unless you never played it for them. You did play it for them, Bokkun, didn't you?" Eggman asks "I tried to, Doc, but Sonic was alone with that Chao on the boat" Bokkun said "And now, here's a little souvenir to remember your vacation by!" The eggman in the TV said and laughs "You fool! Get that thing away from me!" Eggman said "It is too late" Decoe said as the TV explodes, covering Eggman, Bocoe, and Decoe in soot "You won't wreck my plans again, Sonic and Brody!" Eggman said "I'll wreck you! Prepare to submerge! I'll bury them at sea!" He said.

*Meanwhile at the shipwreck*

The divers have stumbled across the treasure "Wow...." Tails and Turbo said "So the legend was true..." Chris said "It's amazing!" Cream said "Think of how much jewelry you could make with all this gold!" Amy said "Wonder if I should get something for Sonic" Brody said "This is glowing at full brightness now. I bet the new Chaos Emerald is buried somewhere under all this gold. We'll have to dig through the treasure to find it" Tails said "Right. But that could take us forever!" Chris said and the crab that grab onto Brody's tail earlier appears, holding the white Chaos Emerald "What's that?!" Chris asks "Oh, no way!" Brody said "He's got the Chaos Emerald!" Chris said "You think he'll give it to us?" Tails asks and Brody approaches the crab, startling it "Hold it right there!" Brody said growling "We need that Chaos Emerald. Drop it or I'll give you something to be crabby about" Brody said and the crab tosses the Chaos Emerald to Amy and flees "It ran away!" Brody said "This vacation turned out to be very rewarding" Amy said "We're one step closer to going home!" Cream said "Your vacation is over, Brody!" Eggman said and everyone turns to see the Egg Fort descending toward them "He's going to wish he never saw the sea! Clurken, put the sting on the wolf!" Eggman said and the robot called E-57 Clurken approaches "You guys get back to the boat. I can handle Eggman and this robot myself" Brody said "All right. But be careful, Brody. Come on, guys!" Chris said and everyone, but Brody swims for the surface. Clurken attemps to crush Brody with one of its tentacles, but Brody dodges. He tries to run, but only succeds in kicking up a dust cloud. Clurken slams all its tentacles into the ground, causing the hround to break and send Brody flying "Running underwater is really a drag! It's impossible to move fast here even swimming!" Brody said.

On the Egg Fort, "He should have known that water makes the perfect speed trap!" Eggman said. Clurken's tentacles fire missiles. The force of the explosions send Brody toward the surface and Eggman laughs "This time, he's all washed up!" He said.

On the surface, Chris, Tails, Turbo and Amy are on the boat. Chris helps Cream onto the boat "Is everybody okay?" Chris asks "Of course we are!" Tails said "Hey! What happened?" Sonic asks "Ahoy! Ahoy, Master Chris!" Tanaka said as he appears in a larger boat "I came to rescue you!" Tanaka said "Mister Tanaka?" Chris asks "We do not have much time. All of you, get aboard, quickly!" Tanaka said "Hold on! What are you doing here?" Chris asks "I promised your grandfather I'd keep you out of trouble, so I followed you all here. I saw you needed help, and came faster that you can say "Dinner is served."" Tanaka said and Chris' mouth hangs open.

Meanwhile, Brody dodges another tentacle attack, but takes hold of it and allows Clurken to throw him to the surface. Clurnek surfaces itself and uses all its tentacles to lift Brody and toss him repeatedly into the air.

"Hey! Get your tentacles off of me! Hey! Cut it out!" Brody said "Put him down!" Chris said "Brody!" Sonic said and just then Sam Speed arrives on a jetski "Hahahaha! Uncle Sam to the rescue!" Sam said "Uncle Sam!" Chris said "I heard you might be in a jam, so I sped right over!" Sam said and picks up a handle used for waterskiing "Grab this and you can ski your way free!" Sam said and tosses the handle to Brody, who catches it.

"Here we go!" Brody said and Sonic jumped and held onto Brody's shoulders as they take off "I'm coming too! Just watch!" Sonic said and Brody nods and Clurken fires more missiles at Sonic and Brody, but they miss "Come on! You can do better than that, Eggman!" Brody said "Hey Sonic! Brody!" Tails said and Sonic and Brody look up to see Tails flying above them "Sonic, Brody, take this!" Tails said and tosses a Power Ring to Sonic and one for Brody and the duo catch it. To Sam's surprise, Sonic and Brody do a spin-dash, U-turn in midair, and barrel through Clurken, causing it to explode brilliantly "All right!" Chris said and Sam gives Sonic and Brody a thumbs-up, who return it with a wink "Thanks, Sam" Sonic and Brody said.

*Later at the Dive shop*

"Whoa! I can't believe it! The legend of the sunken ship is true?" The shop owner asks "Yeah. But Eggman's robot came after us and wrecked the wreck. Whatever's left of that ship and the treasure gut buried on the sea bottom" Chris said "Ah, I see... But the ship really did exist. You saw it" the shop owner said "Yeah" Chris said nodding and the dive shop owner looks at the painting behind him "I tried to find that ship for years. Thanks to you, I finally have proof that it was real" the shop owner said.

Later at Tanaka's boat, it is now sunset "Then the guy at the diving shop told me the most amazing story of all. Turns out, his great-grandfather was the captain of that sunken ship we found" Chris said to Tails and Turbo "Whoa, cool!" Turbo and Tails said "I'm sure glad we came here" Cream said "Chao-chao!" Cheese said "And now that Dr. Eggman's gone, we can enjoy our vacation" Amy said.

Back at the Egg Fort, "Dr. Eggman struck again today with a new robot, but was quickly defeated by Sonic the Hedgehog and Brody the Wolf. Sonic and Brdoy went on to continue their vacation-" the news reporter said when Eggman turns off the TV and growls "Rest while you can, Sonic and Brody. You two are going to need it" Eggman said as this chapter comes to an end.
