Beep! Beep! Beep!

It was like it was yesterday....

"Hurry!"

"We have to get out of here!"

He could remember every detail of how it went down....

"Ashely, get him out of here!"

"But what about you!?"

He tried to get past it and forget.... but he never could...

"Dad wait!"

"I... I'm sorry son."

"NO!!!"

BOOOM!!!

Y/N: *Gasps!*

As Y/N was covered in sweat, he jolted in his seat. That nightmare kept replaying over and over, never giving him a day's rest. The only time he ever didn't have it was when he was with Asheley or with Aqua and her sisters. Yet for whatever reason it came back to him... then again it wasn't just a nightmare.

Asheley: *comforts him in a calm voice* Hey, you're alright. I'm right here.

She then rubbed his head, which helped as his breathing started to go back to normal.

Ashley: Again?

Y/N: Y-Yeah.

Y/N had told Asheley about this, and she offered to sleep with him (just sleeping of course!) so that he could rest. It was a bit awkward for some reason, yet in the end it worked. Now as they were in a plane flying to Kanto, Y/N thought that having Ashe come along was definitely a good idea.

This would be a very personal journey for him, but with her by his side and his pokemon, he knew he could do it. As for the reason, well it was actually a mix of three.

The First was because of a promise. This promise was made by Y/N to hi mom when he was just a little boy. He never really liked the idea of pokemon fighting each other, and yet his mom was a big-time trainer. She hadn't settled for just one specific type of pokemon, so she was good with almost every type out there. She had tried to encourage him to one day be like her, but he just didn't feel it. Yet one day, he had promised her that when he was of age, he would go on a pokemon journey and at least fight in one pokemon tournament. After the loss of his mom, Y/N vowed to honor it.

The Second was because he wanted to catch em all. It may sound a little corny, but he really did want to catch each pokemon. The reason for that was because he actually enjoyed all the different types of pokemon out there. He wanted to catch at least one of each type and kind and place them in his father's pokemon emporium. His dad had barely finished it after he had met Asheley, but never included any pokemon. he had the different biomes all set up, but never truly finished it. So, Y/N made the decision to finish his father's project.

The Third was because of the tools and technology. While his mom was a pokemon trainer, his dad was a pokemon scientist, and Asheley a pokemon researcher, Y/N thought of himself as a Pokémon Tech Inventor. He loved all the many different types of tech and gadgets out there in the Pokeworld. From how pokemon could Mega Evolve with stones, to how they could grow to the size of giants with Gigafication, to even having the skin as tough as crystals with Crystallization where they could be one type yet have the surface type of another! Not to mention the pokedex, the pokeball, rotomizing, the ride pager, and so much more. All of it was a wonder to Y/N.

So, with that he wanted to add to this world by making a tool where you would be able to use all the different power ups in the Pokeworld, but would only need one device. It would be a challenge with how the different properties of each region had, but Y/N would figure it out and be the best inventor he could. Not to mention many of his other projects he had in mind.

When the plane finally landed, Y/N and Asheley made their way to a town called Pallet Town. There Y/N and Ashely would stay for a bit, and then finally start their journey. Y/N thought that they'd stay at a pokemon center, but it turned out that Y/N and Asheley would stay with one of his mother's old friends. She happened to live in the area and lived close by to a poke research lab as well. It was awfully nice, and Y/N didn't have it in his heart to refuse. Besides maybe he could learn a little bit more about his mom from her friend.

Speaking of which, the name of his mom's friend was Delia Ketchum.

Y/N was actually surprised that she had room for him, and Asheley as Delia actually had FOUR daughters.

When they had arrived right their house, Y/N was both surprised and nervous. Reason for that was because once again Y/N was the only male. He tried to tell himself that it didn't mean anything...yet with the looks he was getting from all four of Delia's daughters and even Delia herself...it made him start to reconsider.
