A small bluenette trembled as silence filled the air. It was starting to bother him as blue eyes scanned the darkness. Suddenly, something moved near the door, causing him to hiss.

"Easy..." He paused as the door opened and a small boy poked his head in. "I'm letting you go. So shh..." The bluenette paused before crawling over and took his hand.

"Why?"

"Shh... I'll explain later." Something draped over his head as he blinked. "Cover yourself up the best you can. C'mon."

The bluenette nodded before wrapping himself up and following him.

They managed to get outside of the Coven's deadly base. The bluenette purred before the other boy smiled.

"There... Let's keep moving." The taller male paused.

"You're not going back in?" The boy shook his head.

"They'll learn I let you out. And the punishment is worse than Death. I can't stay. I've let 5 others out uncaught. I need to leave." The bluenette nodded as the boy gulped. "Let's go together... It'll be safer."

"Ok..." He then paused. "What's your name?" The boy paused.

"Cedar."

"Lapis..."

Lapis trembled as Cedar got them under a covering from the storm. Lapis's stomach growled as he watched the caster tiredly set up bedding. He shuddered violently after summoning one pillow. He didn't have the energy for a second. And they needed at least a blanket. Suddenly, arms wrapped around him as he paused.

"Lapis..." Lapis purred.

"Rest..." He adjusted the pillow before laying them down. "No need for a blanket. Cuddles." Cedar's face warmed up before he got comfy.

"Thanks..."
