Aerin's P.o.v

"Jungkook, faster, we are gonna get late, I already missed classes!" I grumbled when he was taking his time in my bathroom. He is been inside for more than 45 minutes. "Impatient arse" he shouted in his British accent.

"Why can't you wait, it's not like your daddy is gonna run away again," he remarked. "Plus we must inform our parents about our engagement" he reminded me of our engagement which I don't know why is ensuing all of a sudden.

I was pleased this is happening but aren't we too young to get engaged and I can't fetch myself to explain to my parents about him. Or my late mother. I reckoned I'll go to paah's place and a dish to the forensics but accordingly I yearn to tell my family first.

"We better go to my parent's place before we go to the forensic department" I instructed bringing his clothes to him as he was too busy checking himself in the mirror.

He is in nothing but a towel which is way lower than usual. "But your paah have not yet revealed himself to the public, how are you supposed to tell them about him when he had been working so hard to hide himself," he asked.

Ommo he got brains. I stared at him with my mouth dropped open, and he chuckled coming my way. "I am not dumb, baby" he snickered pushing my chin upwards.

"Well, you've been living with me so yea you must improve by now" I commented grinning at him like a Cheshire cat. "Whatever" he hissed before going away.

"Let's tell our parents in private and then we can make them talk" I suggested to which he showed me his thumb approving my plan.

I was just going to put on my jacket when I heard my doorbell, "coming" I shouted striding towards the door. I opened the door and there stood a man in black.

"Yes?" I asked him while he had his gaze on my feet. "Sir asked me to give this to you," he told delivering me an envelope.

"Sir who?" I questioned. He was the same guard who took moon from me yesterday. And I assume the said sir is my father.

"Sorry madam, I was asked to not reveal" he answered.

"Now I shall leave, thank you madam" with That he walked away.

"Mind telling me what is going on," asked Aria out of nowhere.

"Was he threatening you or something?" I heard Taehyung from the other side of the hallway

and next to my door was Amber, casually subsisting there shirtless with his newspaper. I am uncommonly sure that he was heeding my conversation with the man earlier.

"Come in you both I have something to tell you" I pointed at Aria and Taehyung who unexpectedly shifted their bewilder expression into a serious one.

I told them everything which occurred yesterday, from the invitation letter to yesterday's engagement proposal. They were furious obviously, particularly Aria, my father's reasons didn't make much sense to her while Taehyung was still not believing the fact that I was his only daughter. Well, I wish I was not but my fate has something else in its mind.

"You are gonna get engaged?" Aria asked.

"It's the only good thing he has done so far" Jungkook muttered.

"You gotta tell your folks first" Taehyung started.

"We are gonna do it now, shall we go?" I asked them both.

"They are gonna freak out" Aria mumbled getting my scarf. 

"Wait, aren't you gonna open that?" Jungkook pointed at the envelope which I received before. "Oh, I forgot about that" I spoke taking it from the table. I open the envelope and took out the papers. But what the heck are these? I may be dumb in my studies but this is making no sense.

"Let me see" I gave them to jungkook. His eyes broadened the second he glimpsed at the papers. "He wasn't kidding after all" he sighed in frustration. "What is it?" I asked trying so hard to discern those colourful papers with a neat font.

"He changed your name, from park to Leander and you no more belong to the Park family" my heart was crushed by the second he completed. I was no more their daughter, I am not Eugene's sister anymore, Aria is not my sister anymore. Is this happening?!

"I don't care what this is but you are still Park Aerin and my sister" grunted Aria tearing the papers. I've lived my whole life with a family who took care of me as their own and treated me like I was a princess, now Paah is taking it all away from me.

Where did he get the audacity to do that without my authorization? I might be my father's daughter but I will never follow him or his silly commands which he indirectly forces me to do.

"Jungkook I need your gun" Aria stood up.

"Excuse me?" Jungkook asked.

"I need to kill that man...he cannot take her away from us" she grunted.

"I understand but our engagement..."

"Oh shut it...that's not important right now" Taehyung raged.

"Okay..." he sighed.

"We need to speak with your parents and then go to the forensic to inquire about Tyra Van, then go to her father's house to clear this shit" Taehyung pointed at the torn papers.

We were near Jungkook's car when Aria and Taehyung were scowling at each other. "Guys please, get inside" Jungkook groaned. "I am not going to sit next to him" Aria complained looking at Taehyung in disdain.

"Well, I don't wanna sit next to that thing either" Taehyung sarcastically told pointing at her. I hope they don't kill each other by the time we arrive. I got out of the front seat motioning Taehyung to take my place, as soon as he was seated in front, Aria and I sat in the backseat.

"Let's go," I told jungkook who was eagerly waiting to drive out of this dorm parking lot.

He parked the car in front of our house, we waited outside while the boys were taking their time. "Shit why is it so cold!" Aria whined. "Where's your jacket Aria!" Taehyung rasped while she was shivering. A freaking pair of shorts and a T-shirt with a scarf is not what you wear while going out.

"You serious?" I asked eyeing her from head to toe, I didn't realise her dressing until now. "I just woke up when you called me" she accused rubbing her arms.

"Don't be so irresponsible Aria!" Taehyung admonished holding her in one place while trying to cover her with his coat. "I'd rather freeze to death than wear your filthy coat" Aria seethed.

"Aria!" Jungkook and I called out in unison. "Shut up get in, or else you are gonna die in front of our house," I buttoned up the coat. Taehyung just snigger at her while she was scorching in anger. We got inside and were in utter shock by the presence of my father and some of his men.

He was seated on a single sofa while my parents and Jungkook's parents sat encircling him. Mum was weeping while dad was soothing her. Jungkook's mum look startled while uncle Jeon sat there talking patiently.

"You can't just come and take her away from us, she is our daughter now, don't you understand" I saw my mother holler at him.

"Madam I'd appreciate it if you calm down, you cannot talk to him that way" spoke his man, his voice comes off as familiar. who is that?

"Chan, don't, they took care of my princess, the only heir and I don't mind if they treat me bad" spoke my father in a calm tone.

"But Theon..." he hesitated.

"You are supposed to listen to me, brother" my father smiled at him.

Chan? Uncle chan?! Rene and Oscar's Father, the one who saved me from the bridge.

"Uncle Chan?" I whimpered striding towards him. He looked my way and gasped. "Aerin?"

"How are you darling?" He asked making me run towards him. "How could you?!" I sobbed.
"How could you leave me? I waited for you, but you never came" I said.

"Aerin ah, you needed to be safe that's the only thing we could do to save you, you might have ended up like your mother" he spoke holding my face.

I can see his eyes tearing up but he hindered and stood sharp like he always used to. He never reveals his pain, his grieving just his smile.

No matter what, I will never understand their ways of having me safe, they all just sound so ridiculous. I won't ever understand them until I see their difficulties with my own eyes.

"And you" I stepped towards my father. "What the heck do you think you are doing? Changing my name and having me back from them, what are you doing?" I raised a question.

"Since the day you came into my life I have been suffering mentally, physically and emotionally, you just cannot come to my house and asked them to give me back to you, I am their daughter now and not yours"

And I will never be yours again...
