Aria's P.o.v

"Hello, hello, hello!!" I woke up to the noise of Aerin yelling. "1 2 3 phone testing" she continued making me stuff my face deep into my pillow. "What is it? What happened?" A nurse banged open our door and asked, I wasn't in the right state to understand whatever is happening. Her worried yet the angry expression is not what I want to see early in the morning.

"Nothing?" Aerin said, more like asked raising her eyebrow. "Miss, that's an emergency caller" the nurse explained and just then Jungkook's dad came running. "Are you alright?" He asked looking at us. "They are alright doctor, she was just testing the device" the nurse sighed and went out.

Okay, it's seven in the morning and this monkey has already begun to show her bratty adroitness. Uncle Jeon was still standing there, laughing at her. "You girls are the only one awake in this 18 floored building and that Device is like a speaker for us in the room, where all staffs of this floor stay, and it's not a mic my dear," he says snatching the phone away from her tight grip.

"So how do you both feel?" He asked abruptly and I just realized that I was too lost to even care about myself, my pain, physical. "I don't feel anything though, yesterday there was a pain but now I don't feel anything" she replied moving her right hand in all the directions possible. "That's great, the medicines are working you see" he shared taking a seat on the edge of her bed.

"I don't think so" I replied.

It is time to reveal what she did yesterday and every time after each and every meal. "She doesn't take medicines," I say gaining her lower, which by the way doesn't work on me. It's for her own good though. "What?" He half yelled turning to her. "Uncle Jeon, I am doing fine even after not taking the medicine" she bleated.

"But, you need to take medicines, it is very important. Even though you feel fine that doesn't mean you should stop having your medicines" uncle Jeon elaborates in disbelief. "Uncle Jeon you know what?" She asks out of nowhere. He raises an eyebrow, asking her to continue whatever she was about to say. "You are the worst doctor ever" she calmly says making him sigh in frustration.

Aerin's P.o.v

After an hour-long lecture from uncle Jeon about not taking the medicines and also about hating him, I finally get to get back at her. Just 45 minutes back, Jia called me, saying that she was baking some cakes and doughnuts for us, she said she'd be here in an hour. It's almost time, but for my plan to work, Aria can't be here, I have to send her somewhere and that's when I thought of something.

"Aria, aren't you going to shower?" I asked quietly when she was laying on her bed, scrolling on her phone like a middle-aged woman. "It's just 9, I'll go later" she responded without looking at me. "But they said Hot water won't be as hot as you think after 9.30" I lie and she got up harshly. "What?" She questioned marching towards the bathroom. She didn't think twice because she haven't showered in two days.

The first step to my plan worked, yay. "Hey I am here" Jia preached coming in. "Hii" I exclaimed snatching the cake boxes from her. "Woah, someone's hungry" she laughed closing the door behind her. "Not exactly, but why does it smell so good," I say when the tang of rich chocolate hits my nose.

I hastily opened the doughnut box and kept it over the table near my bed, then I slowly enter the bathroom, stole the paste from the washbasin and quickly close the door. Jia was watching my every move, "whatever you are doing, do it quickly, others are on their way" she laughed.

And thanks for that. I fastened myself when I heard that others were on their way, I quickly make a hole in four of the doughnuts with the steel straw which she kept in the milk bag and filled the space with the toothpaste.

 Then I rearranged them before keeping them inside the paper bag. "That is so cruel" Jia giggled. "I won't ask why you are doing this but I wanna see her reaction" she whispered when Aria was coming out. "Hi," Aria says right after she saw Jia.

Within a few seconds, all the patients, I mean the boys, barged in our room as if they own it. They are chatting, yelling, talking, laughing like they are on some school veranda. Except for Jhope, Jin, Aecha, Val and Lilah everybody is present here.

Jia perfectly serves them some cake slices in paper plates and also opens the doughnut box and keeps it over the bed. Everybody took whatever they want, but nobody took the doughnut stuffed with paste, I waited impatiently eating my chocolate cake, I think I should give it to her myself, when I was about to do that, Aria took two donuts with paste, woah 2 for herself?

"Here, eat this, you have been staring at it for a very long time," she says on my face and I hear Jia choke on her milkshake. "No, Aria, I don't want" I hesitate taking another plate of chocolate cake. 

"No problem, I'll eat" Jungkook declares and snatched it from her broken arm, she growled a little because of the sudden stinging pain he caused her. He quickly caressed her hand and cooed "oh it's okay, it's okay" mental.

And they both took a bite at the same time, I am dead. He wasn't supposed to eat that, what the hell. "Oh, it's weird" he began chewing on it. "what flavour is it?" He asked Jia, to which she just shrugged as if she didn't know.

"WHAT THE HELL, IT'S TOOTHPASTE" Aria yelled spitting on her plate, "Eww...." they both groaned at the very time that I just laughed. "I was pranking her though, but you fell in the trap as well, one shot 2 preys" I mocked. "Yahh, you didn't add anything to my cake did you!" Suga roared dissecting his cake.

"Nop, only in doughnuts" I continue laughing at them. I love it, I absolutely love their expression, they are literally disgusted to death. "How does it taste? Minty or toothpasty?" I smirk.

"Let me tell you how it tastes" Jungkook interrupted grabbing me by my throat and kissing me keenly. When he deepened the kiss, it tasted nothing like toothpaste or doughnuts. He just kissed me so deeply, I forgot whose air I was breathing.

So intense that I forgot all of my problems and possibly my name too. He grabs my waist, pulls me even more closer, holding my fractured hand with his.

I feel like I am hooked, I've never felt this kind of electric spark. And the butterflies from before are growing back in my tum tum.

It was sweet and passionate that I'd rather continue kissing him than eat the doughnut. I can hear Jia's groan and everybody's gasp. For a moment the room went quiet, pin-drop silence until someone knocked on the door. Jungkook groaned when he heard the knock, he let my lips free after a deep smooch.

If he kept kissing me, I'd be addicted, to his lips.

The one who was at the door was uncle Jeon. He giggled coming in. Aria had her eyes widened and mouth hanging. "You may continue after I leave" he commented and now Aria's Jaw is on the floor.

I don't know know if I should laugh at her expression or feel awkward. I push him when I was still stuck to him. "We will continue that later babe..." he whispered in my ear, his hoarse voice sending shivers down my body. I bite his arm earning a growl from him. Others were busy to hear him and I see Eugene has turned into a fireball while Jia is trying to comfort his ass.

Later that night, Aria and I helped each other change into another hospital gown. I went for a walk, it's cold even after wearing a fat ass leather jacket, but it's okay, I like it. It's always hot in Australia, which I hated to death. I was living like a vampire. But it's all different here, cold and chilly just like how I wanted.

It looks like everybody is asleep, the lights in the hallway with rooms are dimmed but I can still see some people on the counter side. I sat in one of the chairs in the main hall, where there were people, some working, some sleeping, some impatiently waiting for something.

"JUST GET OUT OF HERE"
