Hiccup

I flew away from Berk, mostly because I'm still adjusting to being the new Chief of Berk and I don't know anything about being one. As I flew, I decided to visit an old friend of mine while I was living with Mom. The Tribe of Skrills. They are the most top defense Tribe I ever known and they also been the first village to ever trained Dragons before Berk. We landed and I spotted my old friend, Eret, son of Eric the Brave, The Chief of the Skrills. "Rider!" He yells, happily as he saw me climbed off Toothless. "Hey, Eret. It's been a while." I greeted the young Viking. "Same as you. What are you and Toothless doing here?" He asks, curiously. "What? Can an old friend pay a visit?" I laughed, then I looked around for his father. "Where is Eric?" I asked. Eret was embarrassed as he rubbed his head, "He went off on a Chief gathering in a place called Berk." I gasped in realization that he has no idea that I am the new Chief in Berk, or the fact the previous Chief was my own father, Stoick The Vast and the fact that my real name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third! Eret looks at me with total confusion, "Rider? What's wrong?" I was in total shock and worried.

Toothless

I looked at the new Chief and it hit me. He hadn't told Eret or Eric about who he was, or the fact that he was the son of Stoick and the heir of Berk. I looked at him and whispered, "Hiccup, you have to tell him." He looks at me with worry. "Toothless, I can't! They wouldn't believe me if I did tell them the truth." He replies. I looked at him with amusement. "Uh, you were the one who kept me a secret for five years, remember? And how your friends reacted to seeing you again for five years since you last lived in Berk?" He thought about the events that happened and looks at me again. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" "Just trust me. Show him Berk." I said, grinning. He sighs as if this was starting off as a bad idea. "I know who is the Chief of Berk, Eret." He said to the Viking. "Really?" He asks, excited. Hic nods, "Yeah. Want to meet him?" He said, "It is great idea. Should I bring my Razorwhip, Light?" Light is Eret's Dragon and my best friend alongside Stormfly. "Sure, why not?" Hic laughs. Eret whistles for his dragon and Light said, "Toothless! Oh, it's great to see you! Rider, you looked well." Hic laughs, "Thank you." Eret said, "I still can't believe that you speak Dragonese. I'm starting to get jealous." Hic shrug as he climbed into my saddle, "Well, just to warn you, things are a mess once we arrived at Berk." "Ok, thanks for the heads up." Eret said as we fly back to Berk.

Eret

Whoa. Berk is filled with ice? What had happened here? I heard that Stoick is the Chief, so why didn't he stop this? Toothless went down and Rider jumped off. He said, "Here we go." We walked to the Great Hall where I saw my own father waiting with other Tribe Chieftains. "Eret! I didn't know you would be here!" He said, greeting me with a tight hug. I said, "I wanted to see Berk. Apparently this is not what I've expected." Rider said, "Well, as you can see, things hasn't been the same since the Alpha destroyed half of Berk." Dad said, "Hey, Rider, isn't the Chief supposed to be here? We have some news to tell him." Rider said, "Well, what is it?" "It's Dagur. He is still hunting Dragons and our villagers are worried about it. Can the Chief stop him?" Dad asks the Vigilante. "Wow, He's out on the loose still? I guess that I have to inform Heather and the other Riders, right Bud?" The Night Fury nods, but something is up. When my father said, "Chief," Rider seems aware and freighted. He went out off the Great Hall and I followed him to an Arena where I saw Gostav and Heather with a group of people I assume to be the Riders he mentioned about. "Hey, Hiccup! There you are! I was very worried." A girl said, hugging Rider. Rider said, "I'm so sorry I ditched all of you this morning." "Aw, don't be. You must been overwhelm of being Chief and all." Gostav replied. Chief?!? How is this possible? As I tried to escape a Nadder spots me and I was hanged by her spikes! "Ow." I said. Rider, Gostav and Heather were surprised of my sudden appearance. "Eret!" Heather asks, "What you doing here?" Rider helps me, I mean Hiccup saying, "It was my doing. I brought him here. Eret, meet the new Riders: This is Fishlegs, Snoutlout, the twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut. You know Heather and Gostav, and my beautiful fiancé, Astrid Hofferson." Astrid said, "Sorry about Stormfly. She's a little bit defense on new people." I said, "Uh, apology accepted? Ok, so... I guess that means Rider here is Hiccup?" Hiccup said, rubbing his head, "Uh, yeah. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you about my real identity sooner. You were wondering who was the Chief here, so, Here I am." "It still doesn't make sense! You are the Chief? How and why you didn't tell me!" "Wait, so you knew Hic too?" Astrid asks, looking at the young Chief. Hic said, "Eret is also a son of a Chief, just like I am. His tribe is one of the strongest one I know of. The Skrill Tribe. They are very strict and aware of any situation. Before you guys, they were the first village that ever trained Dragons... before Stoick..." He didn't finish what he was going to say. "Hic, it's all right." Astrid said, comforting him with a tight hug, "I missed him too, we all are." He ran and I asked, "Was it something I said?" "No, it's not that, Eret. The real truth is... Stoick was our previous chief... but he was also Hiccup's father." Fishlegs explained. Woah. "What ever happened to Stoick?" Toothless seemed scared as if he remembered. "Oh... that." A familiar voice said. I turned to see Valka, the Dragon Viliante, was she also Hiccup's mother as well? As I thought back during their visits to the village, Hiccup as Rider is close to her. "Valka? You must talk to him!" I said, "I didn't-" Valka seemed to understand. "You didn't know that we used to live in Berk or the fact that my son is Chief. Stay for the evening. We have a celebration of uniting our way of tradition here." "As long my dad is here, I'm in." I said, but I still have questions of why Hiccup didn't tell me the truth when we first met.

Flashback, five years ago...

The village was under attack by Dragons. "Eret! Get all the villagers to a safe place!"  I said, "I got it, Father! "  As I was trying to get some children to safety, I was surrounded by wild Dragons and one of them was a Razorwhip, ready to strike me to death. I was scared, that I will be gone for good, but a sound came just in time as a purple blast came out between me and the Dragon. I saw it was a Night Fury! I heard that they were no longer existed and it was a myth. But here is one, saving me! I got up as I saw that the Night Fury had a saddle on it's back. That means that someone is Riding him! The Night Fury landed in front of me as the Rider jumped from it. "Are you all right?"  It was a boy about eighteen and he seemed to be friendly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks to you."  I said, as he helps me up. "I'm Eret." I  introduce myself. The Night Fury looks at his Rider as if it was talking to him. "What I do?"  I asked. "Well, you didn't try to train a dragon? It wouldn't hurt."  I was surprise. "Me? Riding a Dragon?"  He said, "Why not?  I  have tamed a Night Fury."  As I was about to reply to his answer, a woman came beside him. "Oh, you helped him, didn't you?"  He nods, "He was about to be turned to ashes if Toothless and I didn't save him in time."  "Toothless?" I asked, unware of the name. "Oh, right. I've been rude. This is Valka and Cloudjumper. This is my Dragon and best friend, Toothless."  "So, what is your name?" My father, asks as he approaches us. "You can call me Rider. We came to help you solve your problems in your village."  My father asks, "And how you propose we do?"  Valka and Rider laughs at him as the situation was obvious. "Why training Dragons, of course."  Rider explains, "Dragons is not who we think we are. They are kind creatures who are controlled by the Dragon Queen, or as I would like to call it, "The Red Death."  "So beating this Queen, all the Dragons will be free?" I asked. "That's the theory."  Rider said, "So, I've been planning to attack this Dragon head on."  "By yourself? That's crazy!"  I said. "Well, I have to do something."  He replies. I took a deep breath. "Teach me."  After the battle, Rider and Toothless suffered something. Rider lost his leg by defeating her and Toothless lost his metical  tail fin. I  designed the tail and the foot. "So, are you leaving?" I asked as he was getting ready to leave with Valka. "We will see each other again. I promise."  Light and I watched the trio leave, and I hope we see each other again.
