♠Andy's POV♠
Out of nowhere, my face collided with a wall. Yes, of all things, a wall. The impact was so great, it sent me flying. Right now I was on the floor in pain next to one of the vacant tables. My 'wall' turned to look at me. Okay so I didn't bump into a wall, so what?
"Are you okay there darling?" The guy asks, outstretching a helping hand towards me. I gladly took it and got up.
"I'm far from it. That b*tch is there with my boyfriend! Ugh, I'm so going to kill her!" I say, my vision still a little blurry. Recovering faster than anticipated, I smiled at the figure before me and my smile dropped faster than ever.
"James…?"
"Andy…?"
He and I screeched our names at the same time. If you were guessing, yes this is also one of the guys I slept with, hooray, am I right? I guess not. I was so shocked; I let out a sigh of defeat and took a seat in a vacant chair nearby.
F*ck my life!
"Andy are you alright? It's been quite a while since we've seen each other," He says, sounding concerned. Staring at his handsome face through my eyelashes, I couldn't help but say a few cuss words mentally. I mean, gosh, of all days, why was this happening to me?! I guess that my past has finally come to haunt me.
"I'm doing just fine, if you couldn't tell," I respond with sarcasm. James simply shakes his head at me and I straighten myself up, stealing a glance at Cameron and this chick. My insides boiled and the only thing I wanted to do was rip both their heads of and burn them to dust. God, if Cameron is cheating on me during work hours... he's a dead man walking.
"Is she who you're worried about Andy?" James questions me, chuckling to himself and staring in the direction of Cameron and the girl. I hummed my response because my fists were already clenched and prepared to claim what was mine. That mother f*cker... Fooling around with my man, she will pay-
"Earth to Andy!" James says, snapping his finger in my face. Blinking quickly, I looked up to the handsome guy standing in front of me. "Huh? You were saying something James?"
Rolling those beautiful eyes at me he snickered a laugh, "Those two have been here for a while. If you don't mind, I can give you a call and give you some feedback. Knowing you, you would want some," he suggests and I smile. "You know me a little too well dude."
"Here," he states, handing me a napkin with his name and number on it. When the heck did he write that down? Oh my god, was he expecting me to be here or something? Well damn, at least this will come in handy.
Taking hold of the napkin I say, "Thanks but-"
"I know what you're about to ask and yes, I carry napkins with my phone number on them. You know, I do have a way with the ladies," He replies, winking at me and giving me a little wave. After all, he was on duty, he couldn't stay here and talk to me.
Staring at the number in my hand I smirk. 'Oh Cammy, what have you gotten yourself into? Don't you know little Andy has eyes everywhere?' I thought to myself, before walking out of the restaurant.
Already outside, the thunderous sound of my stomach reminded me that I haven't eaten anything since morning. Knowing that I would probably kill someone if I stayed here any longer, I went in search for someplace else to calm my beastly tummy. But... I would get my answers when I get home from work... Trust me, I will.

It was exactly 6:30 p.m. and I've been seated in the same position for the past two hours. I literally sped from the place where I worked to my house. Because I drove a car with too much horse power for this neighborhood, I ended up getting two tickets on my way home. Screw those police, always messing with someone's groove. Oh my, groove? Since when did I say stuff like that? Sh*t, am I getting old or what?
That was besides the point at this moment because I haven't bathed, my feet hurt and for some reason I felt like breaking eggs on my head. Weird, I know but it doesn't feel that bad, it's actually nice, only the smell is discouraging. How do I know that? Don't ask... University was filled with regretful moments... trust me.
"Here you go Andy, you seem in need of a drink," Anna says, handing me a cold beverage. I didn't realize that I was frowning until I smiled at the care taker. "Thanks," I reply, taking the drink from her hand and continued my quest of waiting for Cameron.
As if on cue, the moment Anna stepped out of the living room, I heard his car drive up the driveway. Prepping myself, I placed my drink on one of the coasters on the coffee table and waited for my loving boyfriend to enter the house. The second his leg was inside, I stood up and began 'Project Bitch till you get answers'.
"Where the f*ck are you coming from Cameron?" I ask, not as calmly as I practiced. He seemed a little startled by the way I greeted him but he then cools down. "Damn it Andy, at least permit me to enter the house completely." His response was frustrated and this frustration was either towards me or due to something which happen. But, being the person I am, I took it onto myself.
"Who was that girl you with at lunch today?" I question, going directly to the point of conflict. Ha, the way his face hardened gave it all away. He was going to hide this from me and I could just sense it. But, I couldn't help feel as if I'm such a fucking hypocrite.
"What girl-"
"Don't you dare play dumb with me Cameron," Now I was upset, was he going to lie to me about it? Good thing I saw him with my own two eyes. I called James the moment I got home and he gave me the rundown of what exactly took place before I arrived and after I left.
I knew Cameron was cheating on me and I could just sense it. His lips looked a lot pinker than they were and I could notice cherry lipstick from a mile away. He kissed her, according to James' calculations, it was four minutes after I left. The cunning bastard better tell me what is going on before I get myself hurt.
There was no way in damning hell that I was going to allow Cameron to do whatever he liked right before my face! What did he take me for, Jack in Jack and Jill? If he ever thought that I would roll down the hill of our relationship and break my crown and that he would live happy ever after with that hooker from this afternoon, he better think again.
"Now, I'm going to ask you one more time, and this time, you better give me an answer," My eyes were glued onto his face, flames were blasting out of my flaring nostrils. The blonde headed dragon Andy, that’s me!
“Let me at least take of my shoes before you turn to a damning FBI on my ass. Gosh man, what have gotten into you,” Cameron says, making his way into the house, removing his shoes and taking a seat on the L-shaped sofa. I knew that he was stalling, just to figure out the perfect excuse to run me by. Little did he know that this little detective over here, already knew the end result?
“Stop beating around the bush and just tell me who the heck that chick at lunch was!” Taking a few steps towards him, my hands were on my waist as I wailed at him. I was livid and I knew that I shouldn’t be but if he gave me a straight forward answer then it wouldn’t be this way.
“She’s only a friend from college Andy. We just met up at the same place for lunch. My parents and I had already planned it together and she showed up. It was no big deal.”
The lie slid off his tongue as if it was skating down an oily hill. Wow, who would have thought that the both of us would be hiding almost the same secret? I couldn’t pretend that I was the saint here anymore, so instead, I put my acting skills into play.
“Oh, you could have just said that,” The smile plastered on my face was faker than Nicki Minaj’s ass. Fake, but beautifully realistic.
A look of relief swathed Cameron’s face which made him think he succeed in fooling me. Oh Cammy, don’t you know by now that I may be blond, but not a naïve as the next stereotype out there. This dude was playing around with the wrong chicka here! At least I haven’t lied to his face about what I did. All I’m doing is playing it cool until the time is right.
But, when I do decided to tell my tale, his jabbered lying ass better not point fingers at me.
Letting out a breath, to relieve myself from all my anger, I ran my fingers through my hair. “I’m going to Jess’ place. We have a lot of catching up to do. Don’t wait up,” I say, still keeping up the act, walking over to him and placing a light kiss on his forehead.
“Are you alight Andy?” He questions, the moment I turned around and scurried for the pair of shoes I went to work with. Grabbing my car keys off the side table, I turned and gave him a bright smile before replying with yet another question, “Why wouldn’t I be?”
And with that, I walked out. This Cameron wasn’t the Cameron I knew. He’s becoming his ex-high school self. The player, the liar. He didn’t even fight back when I accused him of such and such. I didn’t quite like this pussy Cameron, not one bit.

“Jessie, open up! Stop raping Hunter and get your cute bum down here!” I shout at the front door, pressing the doorbell repeatedly, and waiting for her to open up. The light in her bedroom upstairs was on so I knew that either she or Hunter were home. My hopes were leaning towards her being home instead. I really needed someone to drown with in all my troubles with right now.
Resting my back on the closed door, I became lost in my thoughts. Maybe I shouldn’t have been the way I was tonight. Though I practiced thoroughly on my shadow, I still couldn’t find it within myself to pretend that everything was perfectly fine. Hey, I’m an impeccable actress but not when I wanted to kill someone for my man.
‘Oh Andy, when are you going to change. You love the guy and trust me, nothing he will ever do will ever, in a million years change that. So now, stop beating him down when you know that you too are guilty,’ well isn’t it my most welcomed and appreciated sub conscious, here to save the day! Note the sarcasm.
Why don’t you shut the hell up and let me do things my way for once. You’re always there to mess things up.
More like mend things up. You careless, careless Andy.
You’re so annoying, you know that right?
Yup, I know that you are.
The moment I was about to face palm myself for having a conversation with myself the door opens and I began to fall back. Oh God, this will be one heck of a lame death. Falling into your best friend’s house backwards, getting a concussion, going into a comma, not getting up and my mom will have to pull the plug on her only child. So, freaking substandard but spot on for a chick flick though.
Luckily for me, I’m too awesome to leave this earth in such a way, I was caught by Jess who was now forcing to keep my up. “Goddamit Andy, what have you been eating? I can’t even – Urgh!”
Going into hulk mode, she lifts me til I was standing straight. My heart pounded speedily in my chest, seeing my life flash before my eyes.
“Whoa that was a close one,” I say, standing straight and entering the house. Jessie rolls her eyes at me and then closes the door. After entering, I notice that Jessie was wearing some fish net stripper stalking, and a lace panty and bra, all in red and black. My mouth drops to the floor and she only smirks at me, dropping herself onto the sofa.
“Don’t worry Andy, I wasn’t getting ‘it’ on, you heard no screams,” She says calmly while I took a seat next to her.
“So why the hell are you dressed like that?!” I exclaim but closely examining the quality of the underwear. It looked really great, I would fancy getting myself some. Hmm, Cameron would surely like those. Gosh man, I’m supposed to be upset at him!
“It’s for work. I’m a stripper now… It’s easy money… You know…” She replies, making the money motion with her fingers. My eyes were popping out of my head because I knew that Jessie was crazy enough to take up such an occupation upon herself.
Precipitously, she bursts out laughing, slapping her knee and everything. I raise an eyebrow at her and waited for her to put an end to her laughing fit. Wiping away her few traces of tears, she began speaking once more.
“You’re too gullible Andy, but damn, that was sure funny. But f*uck how I like messing with you.”
Slapping her on the arm I say, “You’ve been doing me that from preschool dude!”
We chatted for a bit, catching up on what’s going on. I told her about Luke and she freaked out. Like jumping on her coffee table, wanting to know more, freaked out. We laughed about it and then I went to James’ case. We made a few jokes about the two but I kept the best story for last.
Letting out a lengthy sigh, I let myself sink into the chair. The words which tumbled off my tongue broke my heart with every letter.
“Cameron is cheating on me Jess.”
Her face instantaneously changes from excited and curious to one of a deadly beast. Taking the pillow which was ‘supposed’ to be on the chair, she began punching it on the coffee table. Hastily, I pulled her back and told her to calm down.
“Calm down Andy, how am I supposed to calm down?! I only wish that this pillow was his f*ucking face!”
“That’s harsh Jess, but… some part of me wished it was too.”
Just as Jessie prepared to answer, her phone began ringing with one of those crappy ringtones she always had. Checking the caller ID, she sends a wink in my direction. For a moment there I thought it was Hunter but then when she began speaking, I knew otherwise.
“Hey Ms. Jay. Yeah, she’s here with beautiful and loving me. I know, right? She’s so careless, leaving her phone anywhere. And nah, we’re not busy, we’ll be there. Love you too, she said she loves you too. Bye Ms. Jay!”
“My Mom?” I enquire. And she nods.
“She tried calling you and little Cam-Cam said that you were over at my place so she called to ask if we can come over and stuffs,” She replies, already getting up and heading towards the stairs and stops when she was half way up and asks, “Should I go like this or… Change? I’m really feeling the vibe.”
“Knowing my mother, she wouldn’t mind,” I say with an evil grin. Jess only shakes her head at me and walks into her room.
*
“Holy sh*t I didn’t call an at home stripper I’m sorry, you’ve got the wrong house,” My mother says, already closing the door, not noticing that it was Jessie standing there in the dark in her ‘sexy’ undergarments.
“Mom it’s me and Jess. She’s celebrating Halloween early this year, don’t mind her,” I say, making my face visible and I see my mother let out a breath of relief. “Ms. Jay, you didn’t recognize this irresistible body? The age is going with your vision or what?”
“You almost gave me a heart attack Jessie, what was I supposed to do? Ha-Ha, open the door wider for you?” My mother says and we all laugh.
Walking inside of the house, I remember all my times being raised up in this place. Oh how I missed her blueberry pancakes on a morning. The way Jessie would just barge in on me on a morning and drive me around. You know what they say, there is no place like home.
“Outside almost freeze my butt cheeks!” Jessie complains, making herself comfortable.
My mother went along and gathered up some refreshments for us and said how much she missed our company. Bonding with my two favorite girls, yeah, I missed that. You know that feeling when you take a break from your favorite food and ten start eating it all over again and it makes you have a mouth orgasm? Well, this is how I felt.
On the way to my mother’s house, Jessie and I agreed to not talk about the Cameron or the ‘me’ thing. Because we both knew how my mother will get on about the two of us being perfect for each other and though we get a substitute make sure the substitute is hotter than the actual person because you don’t f*ck down, you f*ck up.
“So girls, I have some big as ever new!” My mother bellows out of nowhere.
“Hit me with it,” Jess and I say in unison and we smile at each other for a short while, seeing that our brains were still connected after so long.
“Well…” She starts, sipping on her drink and turning all read. Ooo, momma you’re blushing! Continuing with her statement, she says, “I’ve been going out with this guy for over a year now and he asked me to marry him some time before you girls got back into town and…”
Jessie and I were both at the edge of curiosity. Wow, who would have guessed that all of this was going on with my mother’s sex life whiles we were away.
“He screwed your brains out before he asked you to marry him, didn’t he!” Jessie asks with so much excitement. My brain didn’t register what Jessie said so I was nodding my head frantically.
My mother’s face was red as a tomato at this point, “How did you know?” She asks and Jessie jumped up and began doing the cha-cha. When everything registered into my head, my mouth hangs open and I couldn’t believe my ears. “What?!” I ask in disbelief, letting myself fall onto the sofa.
“Oh Andy, don’t you know that’s the modern way of doing things?” Jessie asks, nudging me in the spin. My mother laughs at her comment and continued with what she was saying.
“Back on track girls, I told him yes but I wanted the wedding when you all were here and on Andy’s birthday. Is that alright Andy?” She probes, so much hope present in her voice.
“Of course! Mom I’m so happy for you!” I say, tears escaping my eyes.
“You’re finally sealing the deal Ms. Jay,” Jess says as we all go into a group hug.
“I love you girls so much. I just knew that you all would support me on this. And oh yeah, this weekend is the dinner with my fiancé and with y’all gal’s significant others.”
We chatted for a bit longer until we were tired and we all fell asleep in the living room. My mind wasn’t even concerned about work tomorrow because it was clouded with the thought and question of if I was ever going to get married and have kids of my own. Was I ever going to live with the man I love forever?
The way things are going now… I guess not.
A/N: I don't have any excuse for not updating for almost a literal year... I just hope to catch up on those updates... Thanks @CatherineRideg for knocking some sense into me.
