Chapter 4
As she swiftly led me towards the door a light jingle of the shop door alarmed. She swiftly stops and with worried eyes she tells me,
" I can't tell you what's happening but all I can tell you is that everything you need is in this book, all your answers to the current events are written in the prophecy. However you must not stay here get out of market chipping and go to find Howl and his moving castle in the wastes. Collect your essentials and do not tell anyone your going leave no notes and whatever you do don't look back just keep going. It was an honour to meet you miss (Y/N). Now make haste I can occupy them until you leave!" She whispers her words stern and yet precise as she opens the back door pushing me out and handing me the book shouting,
"Out you stupid cat!" Giving me one more terrified look as she slams the door shut behind her.
I quickly run through the streets of market chipping putting all of my belongings into a suitcase. However this was a magic suitcase it could fit entire houses and still never get full. And when carried it would be as light as a feather. After hurriedly dumping all of my belongings, books, potions, clothes... everything into the suitcase I left throwing on a hooded cloak and holding 'the book' in my free hand whilst the other one the brown leather suitcase. Marching through market chipping tears bloomed in my eyes I would miss the bustling city, my students who , even though I hate to admit it became my close friends.
After one fast paced walk I was at the edge of market chipping and the start of the wastes. Tempted to look back I didn't as the look of Emma's terrified eyes were enough to tell me although it was my home I must depart as it is not safe.
The sun began to set over the wastes and the cold winds started, the air became cold and my muscles began to stiffen. As the sun eventually disappeared an icy rain slowly spilled from the clouds. The moment I felt a droplet touch my head I nervously opened my suitcase fiddling with with the zip which was stuck I continued to attempt to unzip my suitcase in the dark when I heard the sound of scraping metal and saw a faint light in the distance. 'It's Howls castle!' I thought picking up my suitcase and book sprinting off to the light; ' if I run fast enough I can make it there before a down pour happens.
However I was mistaken as I approached the castles entrance I had been soaked using my cloak to shield the book from getting wet. I knocked at the door politely whilst I waited I began to process what happened. 'What if Emma was leading to my death, what if I am meant to die and behind my door is my death. What if Howl is a horrible wizard and makes my fate worse than death. I know that if he tries to kill me I'm not trained enough to prevent it from happening' the what ifs began to spiral out of control and I could feel a panic attack coming on. Just as I was about to let the choked up tears run the door opened revealing a tall blond, oddly vibrant wizard with alert eyes.
"Who are you and why are you soaked at my doorstep?" He asked. And before I could answer he tugged rather aggressively at my left arm looking at the mark with a rather aggressive look in his eyes which quickly disappeared and was replaced with a more calmed expression. Which was odd; Emma must have sent me to my death.
"Hmm?" He continued. Realising I still had not answered his questions I hurriedly racked my brain for an answer,
" I was sent here by a witch named Emma, she told me to leave Market Chipping to find you as it was not safe. And I'm soaked at your-"
" Emma!? Now that's a named I haven't heard in a while. Now please come in," he mumbled allowing me inside the castle.
" Sorry about being like that I thought you were the witch of the waste in disguise. I swear that women is going to be the death of me eventually," he said a light chuckle escaping his lips.
