The Kings Road
Laying on the wet ground Brann layed unconscious barley alive his breathing was shallow. As his dire wolf lead everyone to him....it was not looking good.
A couple of days has passed as the boy was laying in the bed fur blankets covering him. His body so still...so precious only being able to see his chest move if you were entirely focused on him. Next to him was his mother....Catleyn eyes red from the crying she has done as she held her sons hand tightly.
Bellezza was on the otherside of the boy weaving an ambroidery of a dire wolf. A gift to the sleeping wolf prince, she looked at Cat sadly knowing there was no end to her sorrow. She couldn't imagine the pain. She just hoped that her feeling would never be felt my herself. Belle didn't want any of her children to suffer more so than they might in thus cruel world. "You have to eat." She whispered to her knitting her brows looking at the cold tray of food that was brought to them. No response given.
Bellezza continued to weave her needle through the thin fabric as she completed the head biting off the string as she set it on the stand next to him before slowly sitting up. Her dark blue dress matched Catelyn's instead of gold lining it was black. Bowing her head she slowly exited her shae around her at all times.
Closing the door gently fluttering her eyes before turning her head and meeting Robb's eyes. As he approached her she extended her hand for him to meet as he did her thumb caressed his perfect face.
"Talk to her. Convince her to eat." The dark skinned woman pleaded before shifting away before being pulled back looking at him as he kissed her knuckles. A weak smile forming before she walked away down the halls touching her stomach gently before looking over at the courtyard. Her hair high in a bun a Drea falling alongside her face.
"Cruel world." A elegant voice spoke out loud. Her head turning quickly looking down at the imp.
"Yes....a cruel one indeed." Bellezza agreed slowly before casting her eyes aside from him staring as horses brought into their stall.
"Mi'lady someone from Blackwood I can only imagine what you feel. Coming into this family. Then meeting the Rulers of the seven kingdoms- it must all be so- so enticing." Tyrion told her truthfully a small smile going to his face before he saw it wasn't matched by her before he stepped on a crate so he was able to stare down at the people below them as well.
"So young. Full of potential. You're father is a smart man." He continued he was slowly iching to his point.
"As am I." The woman's response quickened turning to look at him before looking away scrunched her nose up shaking he head sniffling.
"I use to think that. How I was so smart. Yet I am still so young and know nothing." She started.
"I always thought I'd stand on a throne and be admired. As I am here in the North. But then I realize I didn't even do that myself. I'm just a chess piece." Bellezza spoke out. Tyrion lifted a brow curious on what she was speaking about how she seemed to be completely mood shifted. After seeing Brann it was an eye opener turning her head.
"Brann a young boy couldn't even climb a wall in peace......Catleyn is grieving twice as more and he hadn't even died yet. Could you imagine?" Bellezza asked snapping her head to look at the dirty blonde male her eyes wet but no tears as she shook her head.
"I cannot....I'm yet to be pleased with parenthood." Tyrion spoke very carefully not to trigger the woman before looking up and down at her.
"Well I am." Bellezza whispered to him shaking her head.
"I'm to give someone life! Yet i don't even know if I can protect them. Tell me Tyrion oh wise one. How would care for a child?" Bellezza asked him complete distrout the young girl was frightened of course. Her love for Robb was strong and would do anything for him but now. Now she had another to love another to show the world and teach.
"The same way you will." An answer the girl didn't think off looking away at him the wheels in her head turning biting the inside of her cheek.
"Though this isn't the manner I was going to speak about with you." He drafted back to his original scheme while she looked down at him again.
"Go on." Raspy voice rang through his ears inhaling.
"Well formost....you still have yet to decide if you will be riding with us to Kingslanding. We leave tomorrow." Tyrion stated the facts as she shook her head scoffing slightly.
How? How could she just leave. Catelyn had a son who was dammed and now her daughters were going to be token away from her along with her husband? This just wasn't good- for her nor anyone else. How could Bellezza just leave her husband? Especially when she us carrying his child?
"But- if you do I'm willing to help you." He whispered slightly to her peaking her interest slightly but remained calm and careful.
"You are the smartest person here alike myself. Yet you're locked behind walls. If you go to kingslanding I can find benefit for you and your family....the child you carry inside of you could do amazing things-"
"With your help?" Bellezza asked him cutting him off sounding slightly offended. It seemed as if he didn't think she could do it alone- not that she was but that she needed him.
"With my guidance." Tyrion corrected causing her to look away shaking her head.
"We leave at first light tomorrow." He added before walking away from her passing Robb who exchanged head bows as he gripped his sword that was holsters approaching his wife.
"What did he try to fill your head with?" Robb asked her curiously standing beside her as she shook her head.
"Nothing of importance to me." Bellezza exclaimed before he cleared his throat causing her to look at him knowing there was more to be said.
"Have you decided?" He asked her bluntly. Causing her to scoff shaking her head at him.
"As the gods look down on me they must surley have pity for me. Why everyone so curious on my decision?" Her Voice slightly raising shaking her head as she started to walk away but no good because he followed behind her.
"Maybe it's because this could be you leaving? Have you really not thought about it? Casting it aside!" Robb shouted back at her causing her to turn around stopping her and him in their tracks.
"Of course I've thought about it!" She yelled at him those easedropping quickly began to work again to avoid being the next. As she had shaky breaths.
"I should go because Sansa and Arya are going. I'm a Stark I should be with the ladies. Be there for them. But I should stay for Catleyn, you, the boys, Brann and for. Our. Child." Bellezza explained both reasoning to him both very valid causing her to shake her head rubbing her temples as he approached her she held her hand out stopping him making him clench his jaw.
Bellezza shook her head before she walked away from him leaving him there going down the stairs as she walked over the wet muddy ground going to the horses stalls grabbing her brown horse as she saddled him herself. Hopping on and without notifying anyone rode off out of the gates of winter fell as she just rode away from the walls.
This was the part no one could prepare her for making adult decisions when she was only just turned 18. Her whole life was preparing but yet she couldn't be any less a mess.....
