     the end of the school day came and i still had no response from ash. i was starting to worry, but i then i felt a buzz in my pocket.
     "ash xx: are you still gonna be here?"
     "marcey: of course. i'm about to head over there. i just got out of school. and again, i'm sorry."
     "ash xx: you better be."
     as i entered my car, i threw my backpack into the passenger seat. i put ash's address into the gps (not that i needed it, i was over there so often that i knew the route by memory) and turned up my music as loud as i could.
     i pulled up to ash's apartment and ran up the stairs. he pulled open his door and i ran in and hugged him as tight as i could. i was just so happy to see him alive.
     "what are we doing today, babe?" i asked as i walked in and plopped down onto his couch.
     "i was thinking we could watch a movie or something. just chill." he responded, walking over to the pantry and pulling out some potato chips and grabbing two beers from the fridge.
     "that sound great." i responded. i knew there'd be more, but now i'd like to just sit on the couch with him.
     he sat down next to me and selected a movie. we did genuinely chill for about an hour, snacking on chips and sipping beer. ash seemed to get bored by the movie half way through and turned to me, kissing me for a second. soon he was kissing my neck and fiddling with my bra strap. at this point i knew not to fight him on it. you can imagine for yourself what he did.
