Long ago, when the warrior code was new, and the warriors were young, there was a prophecy.

"Where are FawnKit and DappleKit!" exclaimed a calico queen. She gathered a patrol and they left. The calico she cat got nervous as they. neared the Shadow Clan border, and what they saw, was a living nightmare. Her two, precious kits, lay on the ground, their throats slit, they were breathing shallowly. "My kits!", she wailed. She got close to them, as there breathing came to an end.

     "FawnKit, DappleKit! M-m-m-m-my k-kits!", said the calico queen, tears falling down her shocked face. Suddenly, her sadness turned to anger. " How could that mess Shadow Clan do this to two innocent  kits!", she yelled. She then took the dead bodies to the camp. The dead kits, were two of the three leaders kits. She took the kits to the leader, WindStrip.(take note that back then in this story, the leaders names did not end with star) When they arrived, everyone stared. Some cats asked what happened, but the depressed queen did not respond. They went straight to the leader."WindStip, may we come in?", asked the calico queen."Yes, you can come in. Did you find the kits?", asked WindStrip."Yes, but I think they will anger", she said. She dragged one I front of him, and then the other. He was shocked to see that they were...DEAD!
