IV. And Here We Go

The time had finally come for Y/N and Priscilla to join their class in taking a field to the museum. For the last seven days he had Priscilla practice her sword fighting for many hours. She'd always ask him why they needed to practice it for so long, but he'd just respond with "DODGE"!

For the last few days though, he'd let her rest and relax. The two would spend time together either walking around the city, eating as much food as they could, or even hang out with Sally. Yet all good things sadly had to come to an end as the day had finally come.

At the Museum

As the class was given a tour of all the Greek Statues in the Ancient Greece section, their tour guide also happened to be another one of their teachers Mr. Brunner.

A/N: Apologies, I tried to find an art-type of picture of him in his wheelchair but couldn't find one. So, for now just imagine he looks like the one from the book or the first movie.

As time went on the usual events happened like last time. Mr. Brunner called out Priscilla and asked her about demigods and if she could name another. Priscilla was able to answer him after translating the Greek statue of Perceus. Afterwards it was time for Lunch. Of course, the event that would kick everything into gear happened... and yet was also changed at the same time.

???: Priscilla pushed me!!

It had happened so fast. Not even Y/N could believe it. Priscilla Jackson... had just protected Nancy Bobofit.

Nancy's former friends had actually started to harass her over the time since the incident with Y/N. It was honestly like some messed up "Mean Girls" situation where Nancy had lost all her popularity so by some weird girl standard, she was now deemed a target for bullying. It was odd yet the terrible threes really didn't feel bad for her at first. Yet over time Y/N started to defend Nancy.

Yet it seemed that today since Y/N was minding his own business trying to act casual, the girls tried to take that as their chance to mess with Nancy. The almost out of nowhere, just as Y/N was about to intervene, Priscilla had surprised not only him but others as well as she came to Nancy's aid instead.

One thing led to another, and at that very moment the girls must have said something to piss her off because Priscilla in turn "somehow" was able to use the water of the fountain and use it to drag them into the fountain, yet to everyone normal, it looked like she pushed the girls in there (minus Nancy). Yet what surprised Y/N even more was what Nancy asked.

Nancy: *shocked at Priscilla* D-Did you just use the water on them?

As Priscilla was surprised at what happened, she and Y/N felt as though the atmosphere around them had shifted. All of a sudden, a fog-like mist had begun to appear all around them. As for the others it seemed as though they were stuck frozen in time. Guessing what was about to happen, Y/N just pretended to be frozen as well. And in another moment a voice spoke out to Priscilla.

???: Well now Ms. Jackson, it seems you've finally revealed yourself~.

As she turned around, she noticed that the one speaking was Mrs. Dodds. Though the next moment it seemed that Mrs. Dodds wasn't who she said she was. That was proven when instead of her usual black leather jacket and velvet withered skirt, her whole body began to morph.

Instead of their substitute pre-algebra teacher from Georgia, there stood a six-foot woman with sharp teeth, pointed ears, red eyes, and giant bat-like wings. What surprised Y/N even more was the fact that her hair turned black and even turned into snakes! She was even dressed in armor with a leather spike necklace around her neck and her arms and hands turned into claws while her feet turned into more bird and bat-like.

A/N: Minus the sword and shield for now...they'll be used later on

Y/N knew that this was none other than Alecto, a Furie that was the servant of Hades, God of the Underworld. Yet he was surprised again as she even looked good in her true form. The one from his old world looked more older, wrinkled, and hideous.

A/N: That's from his previous world

Once again, he was having slight conflicted feelings about this. More so over, here they were technically out in the open instead of her portraying as Dodds and leading Priscilla into a more secluded location. Yet he put those feelings and worries aside as Alecto lunged at Priscilla.

Thankfully with the help of Y/N's training Priscilla was able to quickly able to evade Alecto's attacks. She was even able to be more graceful with her dodges as she avoided all of the Furie's attacks.

Alecto: *angered* Return what you've stolen Demigod!

Priscilla: I didn't steal anything!

As it seemed as though the two would be there for any longer, someone called out to them, or more specifically-

Mr. Brunner: Priscilla!

As she saw Brunner toss a pen at her, Alecto took that as a moment to attack her with her guard down. Yet as if by instinct, Priscilla uncapped the pen and watched as it transformed into a golden colored sword.

Now in her hands, she looked towards Alecto and saw that she was flying towards her. Instead of being scared, she spun out of her attack and at the same time swung at her. In doing so, she actually landed a fatal blow.

Slice!

The very next moment Alecto fell towards the ground and turned into a pile of dust. Y/N was proud of Priscilla for what she accomplished on her own. As he saw her faint from exhaustion, he was quick to catch her. Just as he did, it seemed as though time had begun to pick up again. Yet something he noticed was the fact that now instead of the sky being blue and bright... it was now gray and starting to form more clouds.

Y/N's mind: Looks like they finally noticed.

Back at Yancy Academy, apparently the whole class (Minus Nancy) had supposedly seen Priscilla push the girls into the fountain. Priscilla tried her best to defend herself that she didn't do it with even having support from Y/N. What was even more odd was the sudden realization that no one else (besides Priscilla, Y/N and even Nancy) seemed to remember Mrs. Dodds or even know who she was in the first place. Yet it seemed that when the principal asked Grover, he apparently also saw Priscilla push the girls into the fountain. That of course made the poor girl felt betrayed by her friend.

Now of course Y/N knew that in reality the poor dude was just trying to do his job as Priscilla's protector in the normal realm. Still, he felt as though Grover could have done it a bit better somehow. Well when all was said and done both Priscilla and Y/N were suspended. Priscilla for the supposed incident and surprisingly Y/N when he flipped out and cussed out the heads of Yancy Academy even flipping them off for not believing in Priscilla's story.

Y/N knew that the more they were out in the open, the longer they were exposed to who knows what might come after them, so he rushed Priscilla back to their apartments. When there, just as he was about to follow Priscilla into hers to talk to Sally, the two could hear from the outside what sounded like a loud argument.

It got worse as they suddenly heard a woman screaming, but it was worse since they both recognized it to be Sally. Not wasting another moment, y/N kicked the door down. In the room he could see that Sally was being held down on the poker table by Gabe's friends while the bastard himself was there in his grotesque self, trying to open Sally's legs.

Yet before any of them could do anything else, Gabe was suddenly punched so hard that he flew straight into the wall. Sadly, he didn't go through it, but with a sickening thud Y/N saw that he did bust him open.

As the bastard's friends tried to avenge him, Y/N wasn't having any of that. he grabbed one by the back of his head and slammed him into the table, breaking it by the force alone. Another one tried to throw a punch straight at Y/N's face, but Y/N easily caught it and simply crushed the guy's hand. With his other hand, Y/N used an empty beer can and slammed it into th man rendering him unconscious as the others.

There was a third guy there but he tried to run... key word being "tried". Y/N didn't allow that by picking up a nearby chair and throwing it straight into the guy's back.

A/N: Like that

As Y/N saw that the men were all down on the ground, he tried to turn to Sally and ask if she was alright. Though he never got the chance to as in the next moment Sally had thrown herself into his chest. he easily caught and held her as she began to cry into him. After a while Sally was able to calm down a bit and whisper to him "Thank you".

Right after that Priscilla joined in the hug by hugging Y/N from the back. Y/N enjoyed the position he found himself in. It felt as though it was a moment of peace and warmth. Sadly, he had to stop it.

Y/N: Alright, alright. As much as I enjoyed that. We need to talk. Priscilla, do you have Sally's to-go bag still packed or did you already unpack trying to slowly move her into my apartment with us?

Sally: *surprised* Wait, what?!

Priscilla: *blushing in embarrassment* You knew?!

Y/N: *eyeroll* Of course I did. I'm only stupid to a certain point Prissy. Now if you haven't done it yet, then good. Cause you're gonna go take that and pack some of your stuff because I think it's time for your annual trip to Montauk.

That was enough to make the girl excited and use her spare key to Y/N's apartment to go and do what she was told. Meanwhile Sally looked at Y/N in wonder.

Sally: How did you know that I was taking her to Montauk?

Y/N: Well besides it usually being an annual thing the two of you do, *looks her in the eyes* I know a lot of things. One of them being who your daughter truly is.

As Y/N said that Sally for a moment showed a look of worry, but Y/N was quick to defuse the situation before it even could begin.

Y/N: *puts his hands up* Look, I've only been a friend to her and that was it. I mean you and her no harm. You can say that like Grover, I'm also Priscilla's protector. And right now, while she's gone, I'm also warning you that after you two have some time to yourself over at Montauk...it's going to be time for her to go.

Now Sally really was worried. If what Y/N meant by that, it meant that she'd have to let her go to a certain camp. A camp where there would be others who were just like Priscilla.

Sally: *saddened* Why now?

Y/N: *frowns* Because The Sky is pissed at The Ocean for supposedly taking his precious Toy. But since he can't touch him, he's going after The Ocean's Kid. *points at the wall that's connected to his apartment*

As he gave that crypted message hoping it didn't tip off a particular group, Sally seemed to understand as he saw her eyes widen in shock. When he noticed that it seemed that coast was clear, he continued on.

Y/N: Sally, I know that if you could you'd never send your daughter there and try to keep her here with you as long as possible...but sadly her time has come. Though it does have to happen, I swear to you right now, I will make sure that your daughter won't lose her life. By the end of the summer, I WILL bring her back to you. Even if I have to lay down my life, I will do whatever it takes for that to happen.

Sally could feel the sincerity coming from Y/N. Just like he had said, she would never want to send her daughter away if she was ever given a chance. Sadly, she didn't as she knew what was coming. So, hearing that the young man who had always been there for both Priscilla and even herself, would also be there along with her daughter and do his best to protect her, she was happy for a moment.

In return she embraced Y/N once again.

Sally: *hugging him* Thank you Y/N.

Y/N: *embraces her back* Of course. I care for both of you.

Now what happened next, he didn't expect.

Sally: Oh, in which way exactly~?

Y/N could understand what Sally meant by that, and yet of instead of feeling weird or embarrassed by her question/teasing. He surprised himself and even Sally by holding her firmer and in a serious tone saying-

Y/N: In every way.

As the two didn't know exactly what to do next, it seemed that wouldn't matter as Priscilla had finally come back with two packed duffle bags. That got the two to quickly separate and head out. Just as they were out the door, Sally snagged Gabe's car keys. Knowing that they were jacking his car made the three feel a bit better as they left.

The pair of Mother and Daughter were even more surprised as Y/N told them that he would be coming with them. Yet while he would be there, he guaranteed them that he would give the two their personal space. They didn't mind and gladly let him be with them. As they left the building and onto the main road, they noticed that it looked like it was going to start raining soon.

While to most it meant a storm was coming, to those like Y/N it meant something else. Something much... worse.

A/N: Imagine this, but it's dark and stormy outside with rain pouring down hard.

As soon as they arrived, Y/N let them go inside while he got their things. He knew that he didn't have much stuff for himself at the moment, but he had already been reassured by the Primordials that he would be covered.

When everything was down and into the cabin, Y/N estimated that they would have a few hours at best till Grover would "surprisingly" show up and tell them they would have to leave. That meant that Sally had that much time to try and explain to priscilla exactly who she was, what was going to happen, and maybe even tell her daughter about who her father truly was.

It seemed that Sally was already was already getting a head start as she sat down next to Priscilla. Y/N gave them this time to be together by staying outside on the porch bench. As he watched the storm get worse by the minute, he wondered what else would be in store for them. He thought only small things would change here in this new world, yet he already witnessed many different changes that he wasn't so sure what would be next.

He only thought like that for a moment longer until he finally shook that feeling off. He reminded himself that he had a promise to keep, and he was going to make sure he kept it. Sadly, though if certain events stayed true to the original, then he'd feel bad for what was in store for Priscilla. If he could change the outcome, he would...but he knew that he'd just have to go along with what was to come.

Though he knew what would happen afterwards, he still felt bad. He would just have to do his best to be there for Priscilla and help her on her way.

Yet time must have passed by quickly, because when Y/n looked along the beach he could make out the silhouette of someone coming towards them. As it got closer, Y/N could see that it was none other than Grover. As he saw him, he merely sighed.

Y/N's Mind: Here we go again.
