Chapter 33

Third person's pov

As Taehyung mentioned that he would be going with Jungkook to Sujae's college, Jungkook looked at him with slightly teary eyes. "Taehyung," he said, his voice trembling slightly.

Taehyung immediately noticed Jungkook's teary eyes and stepped closer, a concerned yet warm smile on his face. "Oh my love, why are you crying?"

He gently cupped Jungkook's face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away the tears.

Jungkook took a shaky breath. "I... I don't deserve you."

Taehyung's eyes softened even more. "I'm the one who should be saying this." He shook his head firmly, his hands still holding Jungkook's face. "Love, don't speak nonsense like that."

Overwhelmed, Jungkook wrapped his arms tightly around Taehyung, burying his face in Taehyung's chest. "How can I th-hank you?"

Taehyung hugged him back just as tightly, his hand moving in soothing circles on Jungkook's back. "You don't have to thank me, Rosie. I consider both Hyunjae and Sujae as my own."

Jungkook was about to say something, but Taehyung gently interrupted. "Come on, let's get going now. We can have this emotional moment later on." He pulled back slightly, looking at Jungkook with a reassuring smile.

Jungkook wiped his tears and hit Taehyung playfully on the arm. "You could have let me finish my moment," he said, but his voice was lighter, the earlier heaviness gone.

They both got into the car, and Taehyung drove them to Sujae's college. Upon arrival, Taehyung parked the car and quickly got out to open the door for Jungkook.

Jungkook stepped out with a bunny smile, immediately reaching for Taehyung's hand. They walked towards the auditorium, their fingers intertwined.

Inside, as they were finding their seats, they overheard a parent behind them. "Isn't that Mrs. Park? Is he dating someone? Oh god, these people don't even think of their age these days."

"I know right, they don't even think about their children. "

"How can a mother be this heartless? Step parents never give real love or attention. I feel bad for his son."

"Jungkook calm down!" Jungkook muttered to himself and took deep breaths. He didn’t want to break anyone's bones so he choose to use words.

He turned towards Taehyung slightly, raising his voice just enough for them to hear. "Ah, honey, why don't people mind their own business these days?"

Taehyung, catching on quickly, added with a grin, "Maybe because their lives aren't interesting enough, so they interfere in others'."

Jungkook giggled, the sound light and freeing. "Right," he said, relishing the sounds of the scoffs behind them. They shared a wink and a smile, passed between them.

As the show began, Jungkook rested his head on Taehyung’s shoulder, his eyes scanning the stage eagerly. "Where is Sujae?" he muttered,

Taehyung squeezed his hand gently. "Patience, baby. The show just started."

As the students started to take their places, Jungkook felt a surge of excitement as he spotted Sujae. "There he is," he whispered to Taehyung, pointing towards the stage where Sujae stood, looking confident and ready.

He noticed Sujae’s eyes scanning the audience, clearly searching for him. When their eyes finally met, Sujae's face lit up with a small, relieved smile. He seemed more than surprised to see Taehyung there too but quickly refocused on the play.

Throughout the performance, Jungkook couldn't take his eyes off Sujae. His son was giving it his all, and Jungkook felt a swell of pride watching him.

Suddenly, a fellow performer accidentally bumped into Sujae, causing him to lose his balance momentarily. Jungkook’s heart skipped a beat, but Sujae quickly recovered. It wasn’t a big deal but definitely noticeable.

Trying to encourage him, Jungkook and Taehyung gave a thumbs-up, even though they wasn't sure if Sujae could see it from the stage.

After half an hour..........

When the play concluded, Jungkook and Taehyung were the first to rise to their feet, clapping enthusiastically. "It was amazing, Sujae!" Taehyung called out, clapping with full force.

The rest of the parents followed suit, giving a standing ovation. Sujae, standing on the stage, looked a bit shy and embarrassed at the attention, especially at Taehyung’s praise.

After a while, the students were allowed to meet their parents. Jungkook couldn’t contain himself. He immediately ran to Sujae and enveloped him in a tight hug. "You were so good, my baby!"

Sujae hugged him back just as tightly, a bright smile on his face. "Thank you, eomma," he said softly. Anyone could tell that he was still feeling a bit shy.

Taehyung approached him with a proud smile. "You’re a really good actor, you know," he said warmly.

Sujae smiled, his eyes shining, "Thank you, Mr. Kim," he replied, clearly delighted to see Taehyung there.

Taehyung stepped forward and hugged Sujae as well, patting his head gently. "You did so well."

Jungkook and Taehyung could see how much Sujae was happy to see Taehyung there. He seemed more relaxed, the earlier tension from the small mishap on stage completely gone.

They spent the next few moments chatting with Sujae about the play, praising his performance and discussing their favourite parts. Sujae was eager to share his experience, his eyes lighting up as he talked about his role and everything.

After a few minutes, Sujae noticed glares directed their way. He turned slightly and saw Jun standing with his parents. Sujae rolled his eyes, deciding not to let it spoil their mood. He shifted his attention back to Jungkook and Taehyung, with a warm smile.

"Let's take a picture," Jungkook suggested, pulling out his phone. He waved down a random parent nearby, politely asking, "Could you please take our picture?"

Sujae positioned himself in the middle, with Jungkook and Taehyung on either side, their arms wrapped around him in a protective, loving embrace.

The parent clicked a few photos, capturing the beautiful moment.

"Thank you so much."

Jungkook thanked the parent and took back his phone, eagerly checking the pictures.

Suddenly, Jun's mother approached them. "It's Mrs. Park, right?" she asked, her tone wasn't polite.

Jungkook handed the phone to Sujae, and turned to her. "Yes, that's me," he replied.

"Oh, I see you've decided to date," Jun's mother continued, her voice clearly trying to mock him.

Jungkook rolled his eyes internally but kept his smile. "Yes, and?"

Jun's mother feigned innocence. "Oh, I didn't mean it in a bad way."

Jungkook leaned forward slightly, his eyes narrowing. "It's okay, I understand. When you look at my man and then yours, you do feel jealous. But it's okay."

He patted her shoulder lightly, then turned to Taehyung and Sujae. "Let's go."

As they walked away, Jungkook could feel that the women behind him was practically burning.

He glanced at Taehyung, who gave him a reassuring smile. Sujae, holding the phone, did the same. They made their way out of the auditorium, the earlier encounter already fading from their minds.

After a few minutes...........

In the car, Taehyung was focused on the road ahead, his hands steady on the steering wheel. Jungkook sat beside him, relaxed and smiling.

Suddenly, from the back seat, Sujae's soft voice broke the comfortable silence. "Mr. Kim," he said hesitantly.

Taehyung glanced at him in the rearview mirror. "Yes, kiddo?" he responded warmly.

Sujae took a deep breath. "T-Thank you for coming. It really was the best day of my life."

Taehyung's heart melted at the sincerity in Sujae's voice. "You don't have to thank me, okay?" he said gently. "And you can call me appa, mhm?"

Sujae's eyes welled up with tears. He had never experienced a father's love, and now Taehyung was offering it to him so openly. He looked down, his voice trembling slightly. "Thank you... a-appa." The word felt strange but wonderful on his tongue.

Taehyung's smiled widened even more and he felt himself internally screaming with happiness as Sujae called him, "Appa."

Jungkook reached back with one hand and gave Sujae's knee a comforting squeeze. "That's my Sujae," he said with a soft smile.

When they reached home, they saw Hyunjae waiting at the doorstep. As soon as he spotted Sujae, he stepped forward, "You did so good!" he exclaimed. "Eomma sent me the video." He pulled Sujae into a tight hug, spinning him around despite Sujae being taller and harder to lift. Sujae laughed, feeling light and happy.

Jungkook watched them with a tender smile. They all went inside and talked for a while, the house filled with the sound of their cheerful voices. After some time, Taehyung stood up and said, "I should leave now."

Jungkook looked at him and quickly responded, "I'll come with you. Actually, I baked a cake yesterday and made some for Taewon, Heejin, and Soohyun. I want to give it to them."

Taehyung smiled, nodding. "Sure love."

Jungkook called for the maid to bring the cake box which he had prepared.

Once they were ready, he and Taehyung walked out together.

The journey was quick and somehow comfortable.

As they approached Taehyung's house, Taehyung unlocked the door and they stepped inside, only to find the house empty.

"I don't think they're home yet," Taehyung said, glancing around.

Jungkook placed the cakes on the table. "Seems like it."

They both stood there for a moment, the house unusually quiet. Taehyung turned to Jungkook with a grin. "I haven't shown you my bedroom yet. Let me show it to you properly this time."

Jungkook chuckled, remembering the last time he had been there. "I already went there, remember? When Heejin came in."

Taehyung nodded. "But it wasn't a full tour. Let me give it to you now."

Jungkook laughed, "Okay, lead the way."

They walked up the stairs together, Taehyung holding Jungkook's hand. When they reached the bedroom, Jungkook sat on the bed, bouncing slightly on the soft mattress. "It's so comfy," he said, taking off his jacket and placing it aside.

Taehyung stood by the door, his eyes darkening with desire as he watched Jungkook take off his jacket. "Tae, why are you looking at me like that?" Jungkook asked, noticing the intense gaze.

"Nothing," Taehyung replied, stepping closer, his movements slow.

Jungkook looked up at him with wide, curious eyes. "Nothing, huh?" he teased.

Without another word, Taehyung leaned down and captured Jungkook's lips in a hungry kiss. Jungkook responded eagerly, wrapping his arms around Taehyung's neck. The kiss deepened, becoming more strong by the second.

Taehyung's hands roamed over Jungkook's body, tracing the lines of his back, and then he tugged at Jungkook's shirt, pulling it off and tossing it aside.

Jungkook's hands were equally busy, sliding under Taehyung's shirt, feeling the warmth of his skin. Taehyung broke the kiss just long enough to pull his own shirt over his head before pressing their bodies together again.

Taehyung's hands found their way to the waistband of Jungkook's pants, and he paused, looking into Jungkook's eyes for permission.

Jungkook nodded, his cheeks fully red. Taehyung's fingers worked quickly, and soon, they were both free of their clothes,

They moved to the centre of the bed, and Taehyung's hands roamed over Jungkook's body, eliciting soft moans of pleasure.

Jungkook arched into Taehyung's touch, his fingers digging into Taehyung's shoulders.

And then it happened........

So that was all for today's chapter, I hope you enjoyed reading it.

What are your views on it ?

Sujae finally called Taehyung as Appa!!!

I understand if you find this chapter a little boring since it was mostly centred around Sujae.

So what about the last scene ? 🫣

Because of this, something is coming very soon!

And I think this book will be ending in under 10 chapters now or maybe more I don't know.....

Borahae,
Byee.
