I was finally back to my full strength. My powers were back and I was able to fly again. As reward for helping me, I let Megumi sleep with me every night. No, not what you think!

Megumi just sleeps by my side every night. She's been dying to ever since she joined Tobi.

Megumi's POV

I lied next to Nue as she was sleeping. This has to be a dream come true. The two of were back to back as she slept. Because it was the middle of the day, this was the time Nue sleeps until nightfall. It was a peaceful moment until I heard someone outside the door.

I opened my eyes and glanced towards the door. "Nue-kun." I said, trying to wake her up. "Nue-kun." I tried again while tapping her arm this time. Nue rolled on her side so she was facing me and wrapped her arm around my waist.

I blushed madly with a smile as she did this. "Ah~... Nue-kun..." I said in ecstasy. I never knew she was such a cuddler. "What is it, Megumi?" Nue mumbled. "I think there's someone at the door." I said. Nue's eyes opened immediately and sat up.

"Wait here." Nue instructed before getting up from the bed.

Nue's POV

I opened the door to find no one there. "There's no one here, Megumi." I informed. "But I could've I heard someone." Megumi said. "It was probably Suigetsu being a weirdo." I said. "That water guy?" She asked.

"Yeah. You wanna get something to eat?" I asked. "Sure." Megumi got out of bed and followed me to the kitchen. "Ne, Nue-kun. I've been thinking about something lately." Megumi mentioned. "About what?" I asked as I tossed her some strawberry yogurt.

"Well..." She caught the yogurt with one hand. "Now, that your powers are back, what are you gonna do?" She asked. "I'm gonna run away." I answered, plainly. "Again?! Are you insane?! Tobi will hurt you again!" Megumi said.

"Not unless I get out of here fast enough." I explained as I ate a spoonful of my own yogurt. "Nue-kun, think rationally for a second here! If you run off again, Tobi will break you and he's gonna keep breaking you until there's no hope for you left." She explained.

"I'm not afraid of him, Megumi."

"After all he's done to you! How could you not be?!"

"It's all about confidence. I just need to maintain that."

"Okay, but what if he breaks that, too?! Once he finds out you're back to heath, he's just gonna break you again!"

"He can try, but he won't get close to breaking me again."

"Nue-kun, if he's done it once, he can do it again."

I stared down at my yogurt as I thought about what Megumi was saying. I've been tortured twice and I'm definitely not ready for a third torture session. If I leave, Tobi will definitely hurt me. But I can't just sit here and do nothing while the people I care about are getting hurt. "Let's leave." I said.

"Huh?" Megumi looked at me in confusion as she had the spoon in her mouth. "Tobi's not in the hideout right now. We could just escape. Right now." I said. "Have you not heard one word I've said?! If you go out there, you're basically telling Tobi to punish you again!" Megumi said.

"He's gonna keep hurt me either way, Megumi!" I argued while standing up from my chair. "Don't you get it? It's all the same! He gonna keep this up until I submit to him!" I snapped. I fell to the floor, lying on my side. "Nue-kun! Are you all right?" Megumi asked, panicked.

"All that yelling made me tired. I'm so weak right now." I said, lazily. "And lazy." She mumbled. I heard that." I mentioned. "You were meant to. Come on, get off the floor." Megumi said, walking out from behind the table to get to me.

"No, let me stay down here. I'm comfortable." I said. "You can't be comfortable on that floor. Get up already." She replied.

"Take me to my room. I'm too lazy to walk."

"At this rate, I might have to drag you to your room."

"That's fine, too."

"Why are you so lazy today?!"

"It's daytime, and this is the time of day when I usually sleep. You do the math."

Megumi sighed and grabbed my wrist as she was about to drag me. I quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the floor, hovering over her. "N-Nue-kun?" Megumi blushed as my face was inches from her. "Why are you so vulnerable when I have you in a situation like this?" I asked.

"Y-You're eyes are just so demanding and serious. It's like I'm being hypnotized by you." She admitted. "I see... So, if I was guy, would you still be vulnerable against me?" I asked. "No way. I'm not into guys." Megumi said.

"So, you're..." I trailed off with confusion. "A lesbian? Yep, yes, and yeah." She answered. "Wow. Never would've thought you were that. If anything, I thought you were bisexual." I admitted. "I've heard that before." Megumi said, rolling her eyes.

"By who?" I asked. "That water guy. Suigetsu, or whatever." She said. I sighed and got off her. "You're weird. But that's one of the reasons why I trust you." I said, helping her off the ground. Before Megumi could do what I thought she would do, I said, "If you start fangirling, I'll slap you and shoot you in the head."

"Ahh~... Even better." She said, wiggling her body like a worm as she held her face, hearts leaving her body. "Jashin, help me." I mumbled.

Madara's POV

After Sasuke left to the Kage Summit with his team, I vanished to the Eastern Hideout to check on Nue. It's been a few days, so she's probably healed by now. When I got to the hideout, I found Nue with Megumi as they sat at the table.

"So, the curse mark really has a different effect on you?" Megumi asked her. "Uh-huh. I'm trying to learn how to control it. Whenever I use the curse mark, it takes over me. It's like it has a mind of its own." Nue explained.

I coughed, getting their attention. "Look what the cat dragged in." Nue said, sarcastically. "Shh!" Megumi quickly reached over the table and covered Nue's mouth. "Do you want him to hurt you?" She said. Nue rolled her eyes and took Megumi's hand off her mouth.

"You're being certainly protective today." Nue mentioned as she had a hold of Megumi's wrist. "You know he's not afraid to hurt you! Why push his buttons?!" Megumi said. "All I did was acknowledge his appearance." Nue stated.

"Yeah, but you still shouldn't try to test his patience. You've already seen what he can do. Do you not know value your life? Your dignity? It's like you're deliberately..."

As Megumi talked to Nue, it didn't look like Nue was paying attention as she stared off itno space with a blank face. "Megumi, what will it take to get you to shut your mouth?" Nue asked in a bored tone.

"Listen to me, dammit! I'm trying to help you here, and this is how you repay me?!" Megumi yelled. Nue sighed and licked the palm of Megumi's hand. Megumi's face turned bright red as steam burst out of her ears.

"You done now?" Nue asked. "Ye... Yeah~..." Megumi said as lust was written all over her face. "Good." Nue replied, letting go of Megumi's hand. Nue glanced at me and sighed. "The whole time you've been ranting, I nearly forgot he was here." Nue said.

"Megumi, leave us. I need to have a moment alone with Nue." I said. "Aw... But I wanna stay." Megumi whined. "Go." I ordered.

Megumi pouted before leaving the room. Once she left, I turned my attention back to Nue. "What do you want?" Nue asked, frowning. "We need to talk." I said. "Like hell we do. Fuck off." Nue said before smirking.

I frowned behind my mask while my hand clenched into a fist. Looks like her confidence came back after her powers returned. I'll have to fix that.

Nue's POV

As Tobi began to speak, I covered my ears with my hands as I didn't want to hear it. "You're really stubborn, you know that?" I heard Tobi say. "Maybe it's because you're not a responsible parent." I answered, sarcastically. "I'm going to pretend you didn't say that." He informed.

'And I'm going to pretend you're not here right now' I thought. "Anyway, I'm here to inform you that you need to join up with Sasuke's team. They're heading to the Kage Summit." Tobi said. "Why do I have to go with them? The Summit has nothing to do with me." I stated, taking my hands off my ears.

"You're going because I'm telling you to go."

"What if I don't want to?'

"Wasn't it you who said you would protect Itachi's little brother?"

I lunged at him while grabbing the front of his cloak, and slammed him against the wall. "Don't YOU DARE bring up Itachi. You don't know a damn thing." I said, coldly.

"I know you made a promise to him that you would do whatever it takes to protect Sasuke. And I also know how much you loved him as your own sibling. Due to the bond you two created, you would do anything for Itachi, including the dying wish that you so desperately want to carry out for him." Tobi said.

I glared at him as my eyes changed purple. "Who are you?" I demanded. He didn't answer as he stared at me. "Answer me!" I commanded, pulling him off the wall and slamming him back into it. "It appears I've held on to this act long enough." He said.

Tobi showed me his eye from the eyehole, making me gasp as I saw the Sharingan. "No way..." I let go of his cloak while taking a few steps back. "You're... an Uchiha?" I said in disbelief. "For so long, you've known me as Tobi. But now, you will know me... as Madara Uchiha." He said.

So, that's his real name. "But that's impossible. There are no Uchihas left. Sasuke and Itachi are the only ones. At least they're supposed to be." I said. "There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Nue." Madara stated. I gasped as he grabbed my neck and threw me across the room.

"You wanna go?" I challenged, standing to my feet. I created a fireball in my hand and threw it at him. But my fireball went right throw him. How did he do that? "Nue, don't fight him. You won't win. Trust me on this."

Orochimaru's voice again, huh? Is he trying to distract me? If he doesn't want me to fight this guy, then I'll just run. I flew up towards the ceiling, getting away from Madara, and created a fireball in between my hands. Once it was made, I threw it at him.

A huge fire occurred when he got hit as the flames rose to the ceiling. I quickly flew out of the hideout, heading into the woods. As I flew faster, a wire was shot out in front of me from the right. I gasped as I flew right into that wire and my neck got caught in it.

I lost my balance and fell on the ground, landing on my back. "Of course. It was too easy. I should've known he'd set a trap here. That bastard probably has this whole woods booby-trapped." I said as I sat on my knees, coughing.

"Of course I wasn't going to make it easy for you." Madara said as I heard him walk over to me from behind. "Shit." I muttered. I created a fireball in my right hand as I held my neck with my other. As I turned around, I went to throw the fireball at him until Madara grabbed my wrist.

He lifted me off the ground and stabbed me in the stomach with a knife. I gasped as I coughed up blood. Suddenly, I didn't feel so well. Just what the hell did he stab me with? I shakily looked down at my stomach, seeing that Madara had stabbed me with the Kiragani Blade.

"You know, thinking about it now, letting you go to the Summit could be a risk if you're going to run your damn mouth," I cried out when Madara pushed the blade deeper into my stomach. "But you won't tell, will you, Nue?" He said.

I tried to speak, but all that came out were grunts as I gritted my teeth to endure the pain. Madara let go of my wrist as he held me up with just the blade. "But just to be sure, I'd ought to crush your windpipe." Madara said.

My eyes widened slightly as I looked at him. "Motherfucker...!" I snapped. Madara stared at me before grabbing my neck and yanking the Kiragani Blade out of my stomach. He threw me on the ground and I landed hard on my side. I rolled on my back, staring up at the trees. 

"Where... did you get that blade? From Pein?" I demanded as I panted lightly from the pain in my stomach. "That's my little secret." Madara said as he walked over to me. "Argh!" Madara stomped on my chest, keeping his foot there while pinning me to the ground. 

"Hmm... Let's see. How should I break you today, Nue? A few whips to your body? Electric shock therapy? Or maybe I'll just stab you with this trusty blade of mine repeatedly." Madara said. I grunted and frowned at him as he pressed his foot on my chest harder.

"No... I think I'll go after what you love most. Now what was that silly maid's of yours name again? Ah, yes. I remember. Maria Asanaki." He mentioned. "You keep your filthy hands off my friend!" I snapped before throwing a fireball at him.

I gasped as my attack went right through him. "Oh, come now, Nue. You should know by now your attacks don't work on me." Madara said. "Just wait until I tell everyone about you at the Kage Summit, you rotten douchebag!" I said.

"For all the mistakes you've made, I doubt anyone will listen to a word you have to say." He mentioned. "Mistakes? What mistakes?" I demanded. Madara took his foot off my chest, allowing me to sit. The moment I did, he kicked me in the face, making me fall on my stomach.

"What mistakes, you ask? Oh, Nue. You of all people should already know them by now. Killing Asuma Sarutobi. Murdering your sister. Attacking the Leaf Village. Escaping the prison." Madara explained.

"But I didn't escape! You kidnapped me! I wanted to stay in there so I could gain the villagers' trust!" I objected as I sat up with a frown. "But they don't know that. All the information they have is you escaping the prison." He said. "You son of a bitch!" I yelled.

I got out from under him and went to tackle him, but my body went right through him, making me land right back on the ground. How did he do that? Just what the hell is he? Madara kicked me so hard in the stomach, I slid away from him until my back hit a tree.

I sat up and rested my back against the tree, closing my eyes tightly as I panted from the kick. When I opened my eyes, Madara was in front of me and he grabbed my neck. He punched me in the face eight times. 

I glared at him and spit blood out of my mouth. "Just you wait. I'm gonna enjoy beating the shit out of you." I said. "Such a foul mouth. I'm gonna have to take care of that." Madara said, still having hold of my neck.

"Let's use this spare time to discipline you, shall we?"

"You were never meant to have friends."

"You're only purpose is to serve and protect the ones you work for."

"You're only a weapon. Nothing more."

I coughed and sputtered as I tried to get the water out of my lungs. I hung upside down over a large tank of water as my whole body was bind by chakra-restraining ropes. "It'll never work. I won't do as you say. This method won't work on me." I said before coughing up more water.

"A strong heart you have, Nue Houjuu. But eventually, people with strong hearts are always easy to break." Madara said. He pressed the button on the remote he held, allowing my body to drop into the tank of water.

I stayed under the water for about two minutes as my lungs were ready to burst. My body was lifted out of the tank, hanging there as I coughed and sputtered. May I remind you that I'm upside down? "It... won't... work..." I said, exhaustedly.

"I'm strong... You'll never get what you want... I'll never... obey you." Due to me being upside down, I was dizzy and I couldn't think straight as I felt the blood rushing to my head. 'Asuma... Iri... Itachi... Deidara... Please, give me strength' I thought.

"You will learn to obey me. I will get you to bend to my will. One way or another." Madara said.

3rd Person's POV

Madara spent the next two hours torturing and breaking Nue, physically and mentally. Mostly mentally. The young girl laid on the floor, on her back, as she laid there, unconscious.

"Not very satisfying, is it?" Madara said to the unconscious girl. "The Leaf lied to you, Nue. They hurt you, made fun of you, insulted you. They even tried to kill you." Madara said, filling the broken girl's head with lies. He casually sat in a chair with his arms and legs crossed.

Nue furrowed her eyebrows while tossing her head from side to side.

"All that sadness, all that anger you hold inside... Wouldn't those emotions be better channeled into revenge?" Madara asked her. "I... No...  I don't..." Nue trailed off as her eyes were still closed, her head turning to the side.

"Isn't that what you really want? To avenge your mother and father's death? Your people?" Madara said. Nue didn't answered as she laid there on the floor. "How does it feel? Every time you picture them, dying right before your very eyes?"

"It hurts..." Nue answered in a whisper. A small tear escaped her eye, rolling down the side of her head. "Wouldn't you like revenge?" Madara said to her. "If I had the chance... I would kill them with my bare hands..." Nue muttered, angrily.

"Are you sure you want this?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure you're sure?"

Nue's eyes suddenly opened as they glowed purple before sitting up from the floor. "Yes... I. Want. Revenge." She said. "Say it again." Madara commanded. "I. Want. Revenge." Nue repeated.

"Again."

"I want revenge."

"Again."

"Revenge... Revenge... Revenge..."

Madara smirked behind his mask. "Good. It is time to rise, and seek revenge, Nue Houjuu." He said. Nue slowly rose to her feet and faced Madara. The masked ninja smirked again before approaching the broken girl as she was completely under his control.

"Bow to your Master." Madara ordered her. Nue obeyed and took a knee, bowing to him. Testing to see if Nue's mind really was broken, he held out his hand to her. Nue raised her head, looking at his hand before taking it in hers and gently kissing the back of it.

Madara smirked again, knowing he had Nue under his control. There was no going back for her now. "Good girl. You're my faithful little pet and weapon. You will not fail me. Do you understand me, Nue?" He said to her. "Yes... My Master." Nue replied, emotionlessly.

"That's my girl," He gently stroked Nue's cheek, then allowed her to stand to her feet. "Sasuke and his team have headed to the Kage Summit. Do not kill them. They're not the ones you're after. It's the people at the Summit are. Avenge your people's death." Madara said.

Nue gave a nod before making her eyes change bright purple. Without hesitation, Nue flew out of the hideout and took off into the sky, flying over the trees to look for Team Taka.

As they left, Madara couldn't help by chuckle a dark chuckle. "Now... everything's according to plan."
