Nue's POV

The next day, I stayed in my room the whole day. I didn't open the door for anybody because I wanted to be left alone. Megumi came in here a few times, but I got her out by shooting her out of my room. I stared up at my ceiling while I held the doll that Megumi gave me in my hand.

"What do I do? I want to leave, but I also don't want to get punished. Maybe I leave fast enough, Tobi won't catch me. But how fast is he?" I mumbled to myself. I glanced at my door as there a was a knock. "Who is it?" I called.

"It's Kisame. Mind if I come in?" He asked from the other side of the door. "I guess." I said, granting him permission while shrugging my shoulder. Kisame walked in with a tray of food. "I figured you'd be hungry, considering how you haven't eaten for two days." He said.

He set the tray on my desk and I turned on my side, my back facing him. "How are you feeling, by the way? How are your wounds?" Kisame asked. "I'm all healed up, thanks." I answered. We stayed quiet for a while, as if he was expecting me to say more.

"Nue..." Kisame said, finally. "Hmm?" I hummed in response. "Do you regret joining Akatsuki?" He asked. I didn't reply to his answer. "Just leave me alone." I said as I closed my eyes. Kisame sighed. "You should really eat something though." He said before leaving the room.

After he left, I turned my head, looking at the tray of food Kisame brought in. "I'm not hungry." I mumbled before looking back at the wall in front of me. I closed my eyes and I heard a knock at my door. "I already told you, I wanted to be left alone, Kisame." I said.

"Nue... It's me." I glanced near the door, spotting Karin. "Are you alright?" She asked. "More or less... Is there something you wanted?" I asked. "I... was just worried about you." She admitted.

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For making you worry about me."

"You have nothing to be sorry for."

I glanced at her again before closing my eyes. "I'll leave you alone for a while." She said before leaving as she closed the door behind her. I placed my hand over Itachi's and Deidara's necklaces I was wearing around my neck and sighed.

"I miss you, guys." I whispered before falling asleep, taking a small cat nap.

For a while, I was undisturbed until Megumi came into my room. "Nue-kun, can you play with me?" She asked. "Go ask someone else." I said as my eyes were closed. "But I already asked everyone in this damn place. None of them will play with me." She whined.

"I wonder why." I mumbled, sarcastically. "Oh, come on, Nue-kun!" Megumi flopped down behind me while rolling around on the bed like a child. "Don't you wanna have a little fun? You've been cooped up in this room for three days now!" She said.

"So?" I said as I furrowed my eyebrows, trying to go back to sleep. "So, do something! Anything!" Megumi practically begged. I ignored her as I tried going back to sleep. Megumi sighed and I felt her sit up.

"I really love your room by the way. It's so romantic." She commented. "There's nothing romantic about it. I only made it this way so I could de-stress." I said. I opened my eyes, knowing I wasn't going to go back to sleep because of her, and sat up.

"Was your bed always this big?" Megumi asked. "No. I used my powers to make it king-sized." I answered. "Ah, okay." She said, understanding. I glanced back at her as she sat on the other edge of my bed while gazing at the ceiling.

"Let me go back to sleep." I said, falling back on my bed while closing my eyes. "You seem stressed." Megumi mentioned as she lied back on my bed as well, our heads next to each other. "I am." I confirmed. "Don't be stressed. You're no fun when you're stressed." She said.

"Don't tell me what to do." I replied, in which she giggled. I opened my eyes and gazed at my ceiling. "You're so adorable." Megumi commented. "Megumi, what is it that you like about me?" I asked. "I don't like you, Nue-kun. I love you." She corrected.

"Right. What do you love about me?" I rephrased. "Everything." Megumi answered. "Everything?" I repeated, confused.

"I like everything about you. Your hair, your eyes, your personality, your wings and tails. Everything. You're perfect. Everything I ever wanted and needed." Megumi explained. 'Needed?' I thought. What does she mean by that?

"Okay. Then, what can you tell me about the whole masochism thing?" I asked, closing my eyes. "Nothing, really. I just love pain. Especially when I'm being hurt by you." She said. "Creep." I insulted her. She took it as a compliment as she gave a small giggle. I have to get out of here.

Maybe I can escape at night when everyone's asleep? Yeah, it could work, assuming Tobi will be asleep. Think, Nue. Think. How can you get out of here without Madara noticing? That's it! I'll make a clone of myself, have them stay here so Tobi will think I'm here, and then escape.

This might actually work. Just maybe...

"I'm going back to sleep. Don't disturb me." I said to Megumi. I crawled up to my pillow and lied down as my back faced her, then fell asleep within five minutes.

Megumi's POV

She's just so cute when she's sleeping. I sat up slightly as I watched Nue sleep. "Oh, I really want to hold her. She's just so irresistible." I whispered, excitedly. I went to touch her hair until Nue shifted and turned around so she was facing me while resting her head on the pillow.

I blushed as I saw her peaceful sleeping face. "I can't help it! I have to do it!" I hugged Nue and snuggled my head into her chest. "She's so warm... I wish I could stay like this with her forever." I whispered, happily.

I'm obsessed with this girl and I'm not letting anyone have her! Nue is mine!

Nue's POV

After sleeping for a few hours, I woke up, feeling ready to go along with my plan. I looked down when I felt something wrapped around my waist. I sweat dropped as I found Megumi snuggled into my chest. "Megumi!" I jammed my elbow on top of her head.

"Owie... Why do you always have to hit me, Nue-kun?" Megumi whined. "Shut up, will you? You're the one who said, you like being hurt by me." I said, pushing her away from me. "Good point." She said. "Shh!" I shushed her, raising a finger to my lips.

I got off my bed, going over to my door. I quietly opened the door as it creaked. "What are you doing?" Megumi whispered. I shushed her again as I looked down the hallway from left to right. It was quiet. Almost too quiet. But I have to take a chance. Possibly a risk.

What the hell am I saying? This is a risk! A huge fucking risk!

I stepped into the hallway and quietly walked towards the entrance. I made a clone of myself and it appeared in front of me. This wasn't like shadow clones. This clone was different as they last longer than regular Shadow Clones. If you stab it, it won't turn into a puff of smoke.

It'll keep fighting until I want it to go away, except for when you stab it in the heart. Then, it will disappear immediately. "I'm counting on you, okay?" I said to her. She gave a nod. "Good luck." She said. I gave a nod and headed outside.

It worked! I'm free! I took off into air, flying to the Leaf Village. I can't believe that actually worked! Okay, okay. I have to stay focused. Get to the Leaf and warn them about Tobi.

As I was flying through the trees, out of nowhere, a chain shot out and wrapped around my ankle. I was forcefully yanked to the ground, making me hit the dirt hard and roll forward until my back roughly hit a tree.

"I'll admit. Your courage and bravery is admirable," I looked ahead and gasped when I saw Tobi step out from the shadows. "But lacking. Not to mention, annoying." He stated. "How did you know?" I asked with wide eyes. 

Tobi responded as he held my clone by the back of her shirt collar. Her head was lowered as her eyes were closed, defeated. "I'll admit, she made an effort to stop me from finding you. But it was a wasted effort." He said, tossing her on the ground.

"Damn you!" I threw a fireball at him, but it went right through him. "Obviously, you haven't learned your lesson. I believe another punishment is in order." Tobi said. "Do your worst." I challenged, but on the inside, I was scared.

"Like I told you before. You're not leaving Akatsuki. Looks like I'll have to punish you again." Tobi said. "You can try as hard as you want. You won't come close to breaking me." I replied.  "Heh. We'll see just how long you last against me." He replied.

I closed my eyes tightly with a grunt as kunai knife was driven through my hand. I wanted to scream out so bad, but I didn't want to display weakness. I failed to keep my screams in as Tobi drove a knife through my other hand. "You... motherfucker...!" I snapped at him.

"Harsh words won't get you out of your punishment, Nue." Tobi said. "Yeah, no shit." I replied. All my chakra was drained from me as I was chained to the same wall with the same chakra restraints. I winced in pain as Tobi yanked the knives out of my hands.

Blood oozed from the wound as my whole body shook with pain and fear. "Remember, Nue. You must never give in to submission. That shows signs of weakness. No matter how hard they may try to break you, no matter how hard they try to hurt you, you must never give in. Always stay strong. Endure. The more you endure, the stronger you become. Remember this, Nue."

"Father..." I murmured as I remembered his words. I must stay strong... for the sake of my clan. I can't let this bastard win. Come on, Nue. You can do this. "It's already been over an hour. I'm surprised you haven't shed any tears." Tobi said as he looked over my bruised body.

I weakly lifted my head and smirked at him before spitting some blood on the ground. "You call this a punishment, Tobi? This is nothing. I know toddlers who can do worse than this. There's no way in hell I'm going to shed tears in front of the likes of you." I said as my right eye was closed.

"Someone really needs to take care of that mouth of yours." Tobi said before stabbing me in the stomach. I gasped while coughing up blood. Tobi yanked the knife out of my stomach and I hung my head while panting lightly.

"I think it's time for round two of your punishment." Tobi said. "Round... two?" I repeated. Oh, great. What's next? I closed my eyes as I heard Tobi hook something to the chains on my wrists. "I understand you're able to absorb electrical charges. But I wonder if you can handle this kind of electrical charge." He said.

Huh? What is he talking about? My eyes widened and I cried out in pain when I felt myself being electrocuted. But how is that possible? I mean, I'm not supposed to feel pain from electrical charges. I should be able to absorb it, no problem. 

"Have you figured it out yet?" Tobi asked. I looked at him and I was electrocuted again, causing me to scream in agony. "These electric shocks are made out of Kiragani substance." He explained. "Kiragani...?" I repeated, lifting my head slightly. Where have I heard that before?

I noticed a machine near the wall and looked up to find some sort of jumper cable hooked up to the cuffs of the chains. When did this machine get here? Has it always been there and I just didn't notice? I gritted my teeth and yanked on the chains as I was electrocuted again.

After a minute and a half had passed, the electrocution stopped. I hung my head in exhaustion as I panted lightly while Tobi sat in a chair with his arms and legs crossed. 

It was as if he was enjoying the way he was torturing me. "You sick fuck... When I get out of this, I'm gonna fucking murder you!" I yelled. I tried breaking free from the chains, but I hardly had any strength. 

"Hmm... Looks like you are a hard nut to crack." Tobi commented before yawning and standing from the chair he was sitting in. "It's late, so I think I'll head to bed. As for you..." Tobi adjusted the voltage to maximum and the electrocution began again, the shocks a lot stronger and a lot more painful.

"You'll be staying here until I think you've learned your lesson. We'll see how you are until morning." He said. I gritted my teeth while looking at him, grunting from the electric shocks. "Sweet dreams, Nue." Tobi left the room, closing the door behind him.

When he left, he also left the electric charges on as well. Of course he meant to do that. "Fuck you!" I yelled. I screamed in pain all night long while I was being electrocuted. So, this is the price I pay for trying to escape.

It's my own fault.

I took a risk, and now I'm paying the price.

Father... I'm trying to stay strong for you, but this pain... It too much I can bear. I don't know how much more pain I can handle. I'm sorry, Father. But I think... I think I failed you. I'm so sorry, my people. I'm a disgrace to my own clan.

Forgive my weakness...

Forgive me... 

Tobi/Madara's POV 

The next day, I went to the room I left Nue in, deciding to check on her. I opened the door and found Nue where I left her; chained up to the wall while she was being electrocuted. I turned off the voltage and Nue's body went limp.

"How did you sleep last night, Nue?" I asked her, not that she got any sleep at all. Nue wheezed as she tried to speak. "Hmm? Speak up. I can't hear you." I said. Nue weakly lifted her head. "I'm... sor... ry..." She whispered. 

"You're sorry? For what? Tell me what you did wrong." I commanded. "I tried... to escape... and I was wrong..." She answered in a weak whisper. "Do you think you've learned your lesson, Nue?" I asked. She slowly nodded her head.

"No... I don't think you've learned your lesson yet. To be honest, I don't think you've learned a thing from your punishment." I said. I placed my hand on the switch, preparing to electrocute her again, until Nue spoke up. 

"No, don't! Please... Don't turn it back on. I can't take... anymore... Please... don't turn it back on..." Nue begged. "Then, prove to me that you've learned your lesson." I commanded.

"H... How? What... do you want me... to do...?"

"Beg."

"Beg...?"

"I want you to beg. Beg your master for forgiveness."

I snapped my fingers and the chains on Nue's wrist released her, allowing her to fall to the floor. "I'm waiting." I said. Nue stayed on the floor, unmoving, until her fingers twitched. She slowly and weakly crawled towards me until she stopped at my feet.

"Please..." She rested her hand on my foot. "Please... Please forgive me... Master..." Nue begged. She weakly looked up at me as if she was about to cry. I kneeled down so I was face to face with her and grabbed under her face. "You'll have to beg harder than that, Nue." I said.

I let go of her face as her head dropped in exhaustion. "Master... Please forgive me..." She kissed the top of my foot. "Please forgive... this foolish girl... Please, Master... I beg of you... Forgive me." Nue begged in a weak voice.

I smirked behind my mask as Nue continued to kiss the top of my foot. If you think this is end of your punishment, Nue, then you're wrong. I'm not done breaking you yet.  But just to be sure you don't try to escape again...

I kicked Nue in the face, causing her to fall on her back. She turned on her side, her hair covering her face.

"I forgive you for trying to run away. But your punishment isn't over yet." I said, walking over to her. I grabbed her hair and lifted her head off the floor.

"You'll have to work hard in order to regain my trust, and I'm not going to take another risk of you escaping. I don't care what it takes. I'll crush your hopes and dreams of escaping and returning to that so-called village you call home. Even when you heal, I'll keep breaking you. Again... again... and again." I said.

Nue screamed in pain as I broke her legs.
