"Again." Pein ordered me. I quickly got back on my feet and charged at him. I tried to slash him with my katana, but he was dodging all my attacks. "You still lack speed." He mentioned as he continued to dodge my attacks. I went to throw a punch to his face, but he caught my wrist.

I frowned at him in anger as he stared at me with no emotion. "Don't let your enemy see your weakness." Pein said. "What weakness?" I demanded. At first, I thought he was talking about how I didn't like people talking about my wings and tails.

But I was taken by surprise when he flipped me over his shoulder. I landed on my back with a light thud. I got back up to attack him, but stopped myself just in time when Pein aimed the tip of a kunai knife at my neck. I frowned again.

"Don't believe everything you enemy says." He advised, emotionlessly. I sighed in defeat. Yeah, that one's on me. "Yes, sir." I muttered. He held out his hand in which I grabbed onto it and he helped me to my feet.

"You know, this training session would be a lot easier for me if I had a little taste of your blood." I stated. "Not a chance." Pein said, then vanished somewhere. I guess that means my training is over for the night and he went to his office.

"And that's my cue to get a snack." I said. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed myself some strawberry yogurt from the fridge. When I closed the door, Tobi was standing right there, making me jump slightly.

"You startled me, Tobi. What are you still doing up? It's late." I said. "Tobi wants to show Nue-chan something really cool." He said. I raised a brow at him. "Okay. What is it that you want to show me?" I asked.

"It's outside. Follow Tobi!" He cheered. He turned around and ran out of the base. I blinked my eyes from how fast he was and chased after him, leaving my yogurt on the table. "Tobi, slow down!" I called as I tried to catch up with him.

How much sugar did he have to run this fast? "Tobi, where are you?" I called. I pushed past huge leaves as I searched for him. "Tobi, we're too far from the base! Pein's going to wonder where we are!" I said. "Over here, Nue-chan!"

I looked to my right and saw Tobi waving to me from a few feet away. I vanished to where he was and saw him standing in front a curtain of leaves. "Okay, Tobi. What's this thing you wanted to show me?" I asked with my arms crossed over my chest.

"It's in there." He said, pointing at the curtain of leaves. I looked at the leaves, then at him. "In there?" I repeated. He nodded his head. I sighed and went through the curtain of leaves. I found myself in a beautiful field with a waterfall. "Whoa..." I said in amazement.

"This is Tobi's secret place. But this is his favorite spot." Tobi said before walking ahead, approaching the waterfall. " Tobi said as he stood beside me. "The waterfall is your favorite spot?" I asked, confused.

"Not the waterfall, Nue-chan. But what's behind the waterfall." 

"I don't get it."

"Tobi will show you."

I gasped when Tobi suddenly pushed towards the waterfall. I went through it and saw that I was in a cave filled with glowing crystals. "Wow..." I whispered. "Does Nue-chan like it?" Tobi asked from behind me. "It's... beautiful." I said, quietly.

(A Few Minutes Earlier) 3rd Person's POV

"I can't believe you talked me into this." Kiyoshi said as his fellow pet Misaki, led the way to where Nue was. "You can't turn back now. We're almost there," Misaki stepped over a tree root and continued forward. "I'm surprised the witch doctor made you look handsome." She commented. (Picture of Kiyoshi below)

"Please. I was already handsome to begin with. She only perfected my beauty." Kiyoshi boasted, in which Misaki rolled her eyes in response. "Anyway, how were you able to get a whiff of Nue's scent back at the village?" Kiysohi asked.

"From the strand of hair I found when she was on the floor." Misaki answered. She stopped and crouched behind a bush as she spotted Nue and Tobi near a curtain of leaves. "Wow, she sure has grown." Kiyoshi said, impressed.

"Are you talking about her height or her chest size?" Misaki asked, bluntly. "Both." He answered. "Pervert." Misaki mumbled before rolling her eyes again. She looked at Nue and Tobi as they walked through the curtain of leaves. "Should we follow them inside?" Kiyoshi suggested.

"No, we'll definitely be spotted if we go any further."

"Then, what should we do?"

"I'm not sure. I didn't think we would get this far."

"Stupid cat."

"Perverted snake."

"Ugly fur ball."

"Idiotic reptile."

"Obnoxious hissing creature."

"You just insulted yourself there."

"....."

"....."

"Shut up."

Misaki looked down at her hand, noticing there was black fur on her skin. "We need to go back to the witch doctor. I'm starting to turn back." Misaki informed. "Me, too." Kiyoshi said as his snake tail appeared behind him.

"Well, she did warn us that the transformation doesn't last long." Misaki stated. The two of them looked at the curtain of leaves where Nue and Tobi disappeared behind before getting up and going to their boss; the person who turned them human.

(Present) Tobi's POV

"This place so amazing, beautiful, Tobi." Nue said as she admired the crystals around her. "I'm glad you love it Nue-chan!" I said in an obnoxious voice. "I... I've never seen anything so beautiful." She said quietly and amazed.

I watched as Nue walked deeper and deeper into the cave. When she was far out of sight, I turned around as I heard footsteps. "What are you doing back here?" Megumi Kuro said. I know what you're all thinking; "How is she alive? Didn't Nue kill her during the Chunin Exams?"

Well, she did, in a way. Nue did kill her, but what Nue didn't know was that Megumi is immortal. However, there is a tiny orb that lies inside Megumi that keeps her from dying. If you destroy the orb, you also kill Megumi. But Nue failed to do that since she didn't know about the orb.

I met Megumi when Nue went on that mission with Kisame. At first, she didn't like me. In fact, she wanted to kill me for entering her "territory". But then, I struck a deal with her. I told her if I could get Nue here, she could have a second chance of killing her "precious" freak. 

After she lost the match in the finals, Megumi escaped the morgue and ran off to hide, not wanting anyone to know that she wasn't dead. Not even Orochimaru knows she's alive.

"So, tell me. Where is that bitch-of-a-girl, Nue Houjuu? Did you bring her?" Megumi demanded. "Yes, I've brought her. She's down there, examining the crystals." I said, pointing towards the direction Nue went.

The reason why Nue was so distracted by the crystals because she loves anything that has a glowing theme to it. Megumi smirked as she looked at the direction Nue went. "I can smell her from here. She's grown and her wings and tails are still beautiful than ever," Megumi began to giggle.

"I can't wait to tear her apart and keep her head as a souvenir." Megumi said. "Have at it. You should get her now while she's distracted." I advised. Without any hesitation, Megumi dashed forward, following Nue. I vanished to where Nue was and sat on a ledge high above Nue.

I want to see how this battle will turn out. I want to see just how strong Nue's gotten.

Nue's POV

As I was admiring the crystals, one of my tails twitched. Is something about to happen? I answered my own question when someone tackled me to the ground from behind. At first, I thought it was Tobi. But when I flipped on my back, my attacker grabbed my throat as they faced me. My eyes widened when I saw who it was.

"It's so lovely to see you again, my adorable little freak." Megumi said. "No way... That's impossible! I killed you! I watched you die!" I said. "Did you miss me, Nue-kun? Because I sure did miss you." Megumi said, ignoring my question.

Kun? Since when did she start adding -kun at the end of my name? "Megumi. How are you alive?" I demanded. "It's not that hard to figure out, Nue-kun. You might've killed me..." She leaned down so she was near my ear.

"But I didn't stay dead." She whispered. I frowned before kicking her off of me. I did a backwards roll, then stood to my feet. "It seems you've returned to your original self. And you've grown quite a bit. I'm so glad to see you again. I can't wait to tear off your head and keep it. That way, we'll be together forever." Megumi smiled.

"You're still creepy as ever, Megumi. You haven't changed a bit." I commented. I noticed her teeth weren't pointed like they were back then. What happened to them? "You've staring at me for a full minute. What's on your mind? I want to know." She said.

"Your teeth. They're not sharp like they were back then." I mentioned.

"It's my kekkei genkai."

"Your kekkei genkai?"

"My kekkei genkai allows me to sharpen my teeth whenever I want. Surprised?"

"Not really."

"How cold, Nue-kun."

I rolled my eyes. "Take a hike, Megumi. I have better things to do than look at you right now." I said. I turned around and began to walk away from her. "How dare you walk away from me! Get back here, Nue-kun!" Megumi screamed after me, but I kept walking.

"You'll regret walking away from me." She growled. I quickly spun around while activating my kekkei genkai as my kunai knife slashed with Megumi's sword. I kicked her in the stomach, jumping back from her.

Megumi made her nails grow long so they were like claws and ran towards me. She tried to cut me, but I kept dodging out of the way. She was definitely faster than she was in the past. Where was Tobi? Did I walk too far for Tobi to see or hear me?

I quickly summoned my Shadow Cat and she appeared behind Megumi. "Kill her!" I ordered my cat. She hissed before pouncing towards Megumi.

Megumi kicked my side, making me crash into wall, and then turned her attention to my cat. Before my summoning could attack her, Megumi quickly grabbed her by the throat. When she did that, she squeezed the cat's throat until she burst into darkness.

"Just how strong is this bitch?" I murmured. "Did you really think that was enough to stop me, Nue-kun? You'll have to do better than that." Megumi said with a dark chuckle. I quickly got up as she charged at me.

When I saw her about to throw a punch to my face, she smirked. 'Shit!' I thought. I underestimated her and she kicked me in the stomach. My back hit the wall, a few crystals lightly piercing my back.

That was one, powerful kick. What kind of training has she ben doing? Did I even really had to ask that? "Now, it's my turn to summon something of mine, Nue-kun." Megumi said with a smirk. She quickly did some hand signs and my eyes widened as I recognized them.

"Earth Style: Rock Arms Jutsu!" Megumi slammed her hands on the ground as I quickly tried to get away from the wall. But due to my lack of speed, the earth from the wall behind me turned into arms and grabbed me from behind, pinning me to the wall as my waist, arms, and legs were restrained.

I tried to break free from the earth's hold, but they were too strong. "Dammit." I muttered under my breath. Megumi rose to her feet and smirked at me. "I've gotta say, I'm really impressed with you, Nue-kun. You've grown up to become such a woman." Megumi commented as she walked towards me.

"I'm glad that you've turned back to your cold personality. The good and happy side of you really sickened me." She said with disgust while standing in front of me. "What a compliment." I said, sarcastically.

Megumi giggled with a smirk. "Ne, Nue-kun. How many people did you have to kill in order to return to your true nature?" She asked. "Enough with the questions already. What do you want with me? Out with it." I commanded.

"Oh, Nue-kun. It should be obvious to what I want. I want you." She said. She came close to my face and licked my cheek. I grimaced at the touch of her tongue. "You taste even better than you did back then." Megumi smirked.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're a freak?" I said, coldly. I tried again to get myself free from the rock arms, but to no avail. Megumi frowned before slapping me across the face. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Megumi advised.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, please. Nobody listens to that saying anymore." I mentioned.  She frowned again. "So, what now? You're gonna keep trapped here like some trophy?" I asked with a frown.

"Oh, something like that. In fact, I was thinking about cutting off your head and keeping it for myself. Or maybe, I could cut off your legs. That way, you'll never escape from me." Megumi said with a smirk. "Do you know how Yandere you sound right now?" I asked. Megumi chuckled.

"You're funny."

"It wasn't a joke, dumbass."

She chuckled again. "Do you remember the last time we fought, Nue-kun? Remember that kiss we shared?" Megumi asked as she examined her claw-like nails. "How could I forget? Every time I think about it, I wanna throw up." I said.

"You're so rude. Anyway, there was a couple of reasons why I kissed you." Megumi mentioned. "Do I have to hear them? Or do I really have a choice?" I asked.

"Frankly, you don't. But the reason why I kissed you was to get the poison inside you. Though, that was pretty obvious. Reason #2 was because I wanted to know how good you taste." Megumi explained.

"I think I take back what I saw about Orochimaru being creepy. You're way creepier than him." I said. Megumi balled her hand into fist as she looked at me with a frown. She roughly grabbed my hair and kissed me, forcefully.

I frowned in disgust as I felt her tongue inside my mouth. I jerked my head to the side, causing Megumi to let go of my hair. "What's the matter, Nue-kun? Don't you love me? Because I love you." Megumi said, trying to act innocent.

I spit at the ground, trying to get the taste of her tongue out of my mouth before glaring at her. "Megumi, I'm warning you now. You shouldn't test my patience. You really don't wanna see me when I'm angry." I mentioned. "Ooh~. Now, that I want to see." Megumi said.

Does this bitch listen? Probably not since she ignored my warning. I closed my eyes tightly with a grunt when she bit my neck. She gently licked over the wound as it began to form a bruise. I gritted my teeth as my hands balled into tight fists.

My eyes changed purple as I let out a frustrated cry, making the crystals shatter. Megumi quickly ducked her head, trying to protect herself from the glass. Using all my strength, I broke free from the rock arms and punching Megumi in the face before falling into a kneeling position.

"I warned you." I said with a growl. The two of us pounced at each other and I made my wings scratch the I pounced at her while Megumi did the same. I scratched the side of her leg with my wings as I passed her, making Megumi cry out slightly.

She turned around, landing in a squatting position while gripping her would with one hand. "It hurts... It hurts, Nue-kun! More! Please make it hurt more! More!" Megumi screamed, happily. She charged at me with her claw-like nails.

Megumi tried to scratch me as I dodged her attacks. When she went to strike me again, I grabbed her wrist, twisting it upwards. I pulled her forward, then kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying.

Megumi's back hit the wall with a hard thud until she blushed and moaned in pleasure as she sank to her knees, her head hung low in exhaustion. She lifted her head as her face was flushed, her tongue handing out of her mouth like some animal in heat.

I frowned as I walked towards her. "Please... more. Please give me more pleasurable pain, Nue-kun. It feels so good." Megumi moaned. Who does she remind me of? I kicked her in the side of the head, making her fall on her stomach.

My foot kicked her shoulder, making her roll on her back. I sat on her stomach before taking out a kunai knife. I gently cut her cheek, then dug the blade into her arm. Megumi let out a moan of ecstasy as her eyes closed.

'What a weirdo' I thought. I raised my knife over my head, preparing to kill her. "Go to hell, Megumi. And this time, stay there." I said. I drove the knife down on her face, then continued to stab her multiple times.

Blood splattered on me every time I took the kunai out of her face. 

Tobi's POV

I watched as Nue stabbed Megumi, repeatedly. Too bad she doesn't know something like that won't kill her. By the time Nue was done stabbing Megumi's face, she was panting in exhaustion. My gaze went from her to Megumi.

Her face was completely destroyed and unnoticeable. But she won't stay like that for long. Nue got off of Megumi and stared down at her corpse before walking around her, stopping near Megumi's head.

A puddle of blood surrounded Megumi's head as Nue stood over her. I need to get her out of here before she realizes Megumi's immortal. I went to get her until I saw Nue fall to her hands and knees and began to lick up the blood near Megumi's head.

It makes me wonder why does that. I jumped down from the ledge and ran over to Nue while calling her name. "Nue-chan!"

She lifted her head and looked behind her. "Tobi? Where have you been?" Nue asked as she stood to her feet. "Nue-chan walked too far away from Tobi as she was admiring the crystals. Tobi got lost trying to find you." I lied.

"Oh... Sorry about that. I guess I got a little distracted." Nue said. "Who's that, Nue-chan? Is she your friend?" I asked, pointing at Megumi's body. "She's not my friend. Just a problem I had to get rid of." Nue said.

"Let's head back. Tobi's feeling tired." I said. "Yeah... That's a good idea." Nue agreed. She took a step forward and began to fall until I quickly caught her, helping her stand. "Is Nue-chan okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Tobi. I just... lost my footing. That's all." Nue said. I helped Nue walk out of the cave and I glanced back at Megumi. Her face slowly began to heal. By the time we get out of this cave, she'll be awake.

Nue's POV

Once Tobi and I got back to the base, I walked Tobi to his room. "Goodnight, Tobi. See you in the morning." I said with a small smile. I ruffled his head before walking to my room. I went into the bathroom and stripped out of my clothes to take a shower.

After I turned on the water, I stepped in the shower and began to wash the blood off me. Once I was done in my shower, I dried myself off, then got dressed in my attire. I walked to the living room and lied down on the couch.

"There you are," I opened my eyes, spotting Deidara beside me. "I was looking for you. Where ya been, un?" He asked. "Just took a walk with Tobi. Why were you looking for me this late at night?" I asked.

"I, uh... rather not say."

"Oh, come on. Tell me."

"No way. It's kind of embarrassing."

"Tell me, or else."

"Or else what, un?"

I playfully tackled him to the floor. Deidara put up a fight as I tried to pin him to the ground, the two of us somewhat wrestling. He chuckled as I giggled, trying to pin his arms down. "Get off of me, Nue." Deidara said. "Not until you tell me." I replied. "No way." He refused.

"Fine. Then, you have to give up. If you say I win, I'll let you up." I said. "Okay, okay." He replied, still putting up. "You have to say it." I reminded him. "You win. Okay?" Deidara gave up. I giggled as I sat on his stomach. "You're such a pushover, Deidara." I said as I got off him.

He sat up and I grabbed his hand, pulling him to his feet. Still holding his hand, I began to lead him to his room. When we got there, we lied down on the bed, the two of us facing each other. I gently rested my hand on his cheek. 

"Your eyes are so blue... It kind of reminds me of..." I trailed off as my thumb gently stroked his cheek. "Who? Please, tell me." Deidara said as he rested his hand over mine. I shook my head. "It's nothing." I said before kissing his forehead.

Deidara smiled at me as he slowly began to doze off. As he fell asleep, I stayed by his side, gently running my fingers through his hair. 

When morning arrive, I sat up and glanced at Deidara as he was still asleep. I kissed his cheek before getting out of bed. I walked down the hall until a voice stopped me. "Nue," I turned, seeing Pein standing there.

"Hi. What's up?" I asked. "I want you to catch up with Hidan and Kakuzu to help them capture the Two-Tails." He instructed. "Yes, sir." I said before bowing my head to him. I packed the things I might need on the mission, then headed out.

I wanna find these guys fast so we can get this job done and I can get some sleep. I don't think it should be that hard to them. Then again, this is Hidan and Kakuzu I'm talking about.
