It has been a week, the days went usual with classes. Harry and hermione were kinda busy with their heads duties. Ron, ginny and Kathy used to hang out more. And Kathy became good friends with luna whilst ginny with dean as they shared some classes.

As much as harry tried to spend his available time with ginny, he couldn't 'cause he's engaged spending that little time with Slughorn as Dumbledore insisted.

In the library,

Ginny's leisurely reading 'Hogwarts History' as hermione suggested. Hermione isn't here cause she and ron needed a couples time. Luna begged Kathy to go with her in search of some sort of nargles. Harry was called by Headmaster Dumbledore. So, she's all alone and enjoying her time with her book.

"I rarely show up in the library but if I knew you'd be here then I'd make a habit to come here more often" ginny shivered a bit at the cold voice.

She looked up to see Draco Malfoy smirk at her leaning against the shelf. Ginny's brain gave her signals to leave but she didn't.

"How have you been?" He asked politely.

Ginny didn't answer, she kept pretending to be reading the book. She heard him chuckle.

"Yeah! You shouldn't talk to me. I totally forgot this rule that pottah made and you should follow them." He knew this would make her talk.

"He didn't make any rules nor did I follow them. I heard from everyone that you're a bad guy. You treat people like a piece of trash, you never respect elders and muggles are like some scumbags to you. You think this is your authority that every single person here should bow to you." Ginny didn't know where all this anger came from. She's surprised Madam Pince didn't show up.

She's waiting for Draco to snap back at her or make a mean comment but when she glanced at him, he looked hurt. He's trying hard not to show it but it's clear.

Ginny's face paled 'I shouldn't have said any of those words ' she cursed herself.

"You're right" he finally said. "Every single word of it is true. I'm that guy you just described, sorry, I was that guy. But you don't know me yet. My family is not decent, ginny. It wasn't easy for me to be the tough guy or the bad guy. I never had a choice, I still don't. I just have to do whatever they order. No matter how many times I apologise to Potter, Weasley and Granger, they still think I'm doing some kind of a trick because that's who I am now. Neither I can change the past nor the future"

Ginny is dumbstruck. If there's anything in this world she'd find weird except for dudley getting thin, it's Malfoy letting all his bottled up feelings out in front of her.

"Regardless, I won't bother you ever again, in return, don't ever tell anyone about this" he stared into her big chocolate brown eyes one last time and walked away.

Ginny exhaled heavily. She's pacing thinking about what Draco said again and again. She decided to get some fresh air hoping that would help her.

Harry is getting annoyed with Dumbledore. He wouldn't give the reason about Slughorn. So, he decided to talk with Hagrid. Maybe he would know something about this.

He's walking down to hagrid's hut but unfortunately, he saw ginny, standing at the top and looking down at hagrid's hut. He thought she's in the library.

Agreeing on scaring her, he calmly came behind her and shouted "Aah!" Surprised by this, ginny lost her balance and almost fell off when harry grabbed her by her elbow pushing her towards him.

He instantly let go of her noticing the closeness. "I'm sorry," he said slyly.

Ginny didn't say anything, she's not even looking at him. Harry noticed that she's distracted. He bent down to glance at her face and saw her sweating heavily.

"Hey, is something wrong?" He asked moving a little closer.

She still didn't respond. Harry sighed, he pulled his sleeve to wipe off her sweat. Immediately, ginny backed off.

"Ginny, what's wrong?" He yelled at last.

Her early conversation with Draco kept running in her head. But she doesn't want to say this to harry and piss him off as she did before. Instead, she hugged him. She needed it. She wanted to feel safe and with harry, she knows she's safe.

Harry is startled at her sudden action. He leaned his head to look at her face, her eyes are closed and she looks like she needed comfort. So, Harry hugged her back.

After a couple of minutes, they broke. "I miss mom" she simply lied.

Harry nodded his head. "You can write her, you can use hedwig if you want" he offered.

"Thanks" ginny smiled tightly.

"I'm going down to hagrid's. Would you like to come?" He didn't know why he asked her that. He knows he couldn't ask about Slughorn when ginny's there but he didn't want to leave her alone.

Ginny didn't want to be alone at that time. She nodded her head.

Sorry, I took a lot of time to upload.
I wrote this chapter in a way that everyone should understand that Draco had gone through tough times too. That's only my opinion, everyone has their own.
The next chapter will be fun with more hinny content.
