In girls dormitory

Ginny is sitting on the edge of her bed completely spaced out. Harry's words crossed through her heart like a dagger. 'So, you like people hitting on you?' These words running in her head. "He has no right to say that kind of words," she thought. Also, she felt guilty talking to Draco Malfoy. She had no idea that pisses off harry this much.

"Ginny" called Kathy. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said anything in the first place" she apologised.

Ginny just nodded. Kathy didn't mean this to happen. 'Should I apologise to him?' She vaguely questioned herself.

"Do you like Malfoy?" Kathy asked out of nowhere.

Ginny looked up at her with a quizzed look. "Are you for real? I saw him today, I don't even know him. Besides, it's not about him now. I'm thinking about harry." She let out an exasperated sigh.

Kathy was about to say something when they both heard someone calling for them.

"New girls!" Called out Romilda Vain walking to them along with her group of girl mates. "I'm Romilda Vane!"

Kathy and ginny looked at them.

"We are so disappointed in you, new girls" she spits out. Ginny, Kathy glanced at each other with confusion.

"You are still not introducing yourselves" she responded.

"Oh! I'm Ginny Wilson"

"I'm Kathy Burton"

"Muggles?" Asked Romilda making her way to sit on Kathy's bed.

They both nodded. The girls behind Romilda giggled.

"I saw you guys sitting with the golden trio." It wasn't a question.

"What's a golden trio?" Asked Kathy.

Romilda snorted. "Harry, Ron and hermione" she answered. "Don't you guys know?"

"Are we supposed to?" Retorted ginny.

"Of course!" Squealed romilda making ginny bounce a bit. "They are like this weird group who always engaged in their world, chasing after wicked mysteries and blah" she rolled her eyes.

Neither Kathy nor ginny said anything. So romilda decided to speak up again. "They don't usually collaborate with anyone or let anyone join them."

"That's not true. They were nice to us." Protested Kathy.

"Tsk tsk that's only in the beginning dear. Eventually, they'll think of you as a disruption. They will make an excuse to slip away or-" she smiled wickedly "-they will create a fight for no reason and turn their back on you. Believe me, I've known them for ages. Am I right girls?" She finished her little speech crossing her arms.

"Yes!" The girls chorused.

Ginny sat there, dumbfounded. Something in her head telling her not to listen but it's being hard not to.

"Why are you even telling us all this?" Asked Kathy furiously.

Romilda smirked. "Only for your own good", she got up and walked away followed by her girls.

"She's poisoning us!" Yelled Kathy once Romilda is away.

"I know," said ginny lightly. "But-"

"But what?"

"Don't you feel like we are intruding? I mean they've been friends for life and I came out of nowhere and made harry mad on their first day back." Explained ginny with a hesitant tone.

Kathy didn't respond, she doesn't want to agree. Ginny grabbed her hand. "We have each other, Kathy. We could manage" smiled ginny half-heartedly.

With Harry and Hermione

"I already hate being a head boy" groaned harry. They are walking back to heads dorms after the meeting.

"We didn't start anything yet. It's just a meeting" protested hermione. "Or are you frustrated about something else?" she hinted.

Harry groaned heavily. "Don't even get me started on that" he hissed.

"I didn't even say what that is." Smiled hermione cheekily.

He glared at her.

"Don't you think you are overreacting harry?" She asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it" he brushed it off aware of where this is leading.

"Fine!" Shouted mione. "But this is all your fault" she pointed.

"Are you taking her side?" He asked with disbelief.

"Side? I'm on no one's side. As a matter of fact, I'm supporting you" she replied.

"Yeah, by saying that it's my fault clearly explains that you're supporting me," he said annoyingly.

She rolled her eyes. "Harry before you get angry, just think about this whole situation from her view. She doesn't completely know anyone here. We've been nice to her and she's been nice to us too. Also, Malfoy has been nice to her so she tried to be the same" explained hermione.

Harry smoothened, "but I told her not-" mione interrupted.

"I know you did. She couldn't just ignore him when he's talking to her. By the way, what is your insecurity? That Malfoy's gonna take her away from you" she sneered.

"Shut up!" Harry's fist clenched by imagining it.

"Shut me up but you have to be close to her to get her, Harry. Not start some childish fights like this" she let out a triumph smile. She knew she won this conversation.

Harry know she's right. She's always right. He hates it that she's right.

"I'll apologise" he muttered under his breath.

It's so good to be back. I'm glad my exams are over and I'll be frequently updating new chapters.
