"Weird" Whispered hermione.

"Hi, guys" called Neville walking to them along with luna.

"Hey, Neville, luna" greeted ron and hermione.

"Um hi I'm Kathy" she introduced herself.

"Hello, I'm Neville Longbottom. Are you new here?" He questioned.

"Yeah," said Kathy looking at luna with confusion. Mione noticed this.

"Luna, you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, I'm just watching out for nargles" she explained.

Kathy's confusion only increased, before she could question "nevermind" says ron.

"Where's Harry?" Neville searched for him.

"Merlin knows" mione shrugged totally done with harry's new behaviour.

"Let's walk slowly, he'll join us," said ron.

With Harry and ginny

What kind of an excuse did I just make? Book? I don't remember reading any book for a long time now. Thought harry hitting his head with his hand.

He entered the compartment to see ginny pacing. "What happened? " He asked worriedly.

"I can't find it" she cried out.

Harry smiled. He pulled out his wand from his robes "Accio!" He mumbled.

Instantly, the bracelet flew into his hands. "Here, you should remember that you're not a muggle anymore" he handed her the bracelet, smirking.

Ginny took it and hugged him. Abruptly, harry's heart skipped a beat, his eyes widened and he forgot to breathe. He's about to wrap his hands around when she backed away.

"I'm sorry, it's just...this bracelet is important to me" she explained.

"No, that's fine," he said covering his flushed face a little.

After a few seconds of silence, "why did you come back?" She asked.

"Oh! My book, I left it here" he got startled and pretended to search for it.

"Isn't a spell enough?" She quirked her eyebrows.

"Yea," he said vaguely using the spell but no book appeared.

"Well, I guess it's not here. That's okay, we better go" said harry.

"Are you sure? We can search for it somewhere else if you want" she asked.

"I'm sure. Let's go" he said leading them out of the train.

They are walking slowly,

"Can I ask you something?" Harry said.

"Sure"

"Do you...I mean....you really think I flirt with every girl as you said earlier?" He asked already regretting the way the question came out.

Ginny stopped suddenly. "No!" She shouted. "No harry, I'm sorry about earlier. I wasn't thinking, all those girls swooning around you reminded me of Dudley"

"Dudley" harry inhaled.

"Yes, he's the guy I was talking about. Never mind him, I truly didn't mean it for you. You are nothing like him" she assured gazing into his eyes.

Harry gazed into her eyes as well, No No!
She doesn't like you the way you do he told himself.

"No worries. We're cool" he glimmered at her. She nodded.

Harry badly wanted to change the topic.

"So, what's so important about that bracelet?" He asked casually shoving his hands into his robe pockets.

Ginny smiled as she extended her arm to show him her bracelet. She pressed like a button in there which revealed three photos "that's my parents and me, it's special" she clarified.

Harry stared at it wistfully for a moment and looked up at her "it sure is" he agreed.

"What do they do?" He asked.

"My dad's a business and my mom accompanies him" she answered.

"What about your parents?" She asked.

Harry felt blurry all of a sudden and his heart is shattered into pieces. Parents...

He came out of it as ginny shook him. "You alright?" She asked.

"Ye-yeah" he glanced around to locate they're at the carriages. "We're here" he mentioned.

"Oh"

They caught up with the others.

"Did you find your bracelet?" Asked Kathy.

"Yeah, thanks to harry" she smiled at him.

"What about your book harry?" Asked hermione mockingly. Harry is still in his reverie.

"We couldn't find that," said ginny instead.

"Thought so" muttered hermione.

After the introduction and greeting with Neville and luna,

They climbed onto the carriages. Ron, hermione, Kathy and ginny on one side. Neville, luna and harry on the other.

Harry tried to brush off the question that ginny asked earlier, eventually, he did. That's when he noticed ginny's not the one he sat next to which disappointed him a bit.

Once they're in Hogwarts,

"Wow, this is the coolest school I've ever been in" exclaimed ginny.

"I couldn't disagree" Kathy's eyes are beaming.

In Great Hall,

"Ginny, Kathy" called harry. "There," he pointed to some first years and some other new students standing next to the phase "The sorting ceremony begins in a bit, you guys should stand there." He explained.

They both nodded nervously. "Don't worry" says harry.

"Yeah, no matter which house you'll be put in, we'll stay friends okay?" Smiled hermione.

"Yes, any house except Slytherin," says ron.

They all laugh.

Harry, ron and hermione settle at the Gryffindor table.

Harry is still indulged in staring at ginny who is engaged in conversation Kathy. Noticing this hermione cleared her throat for his attention.

"What?" Asked harry.

"I don't know, you tell me what is with the strange behaviour?" Hissed hermione her temper getting better of her.

"What are you talking about?" Asked harry completely oblivious of what's going on.

"Mione wait" says ron. "Let me get this straight, do you like ginny?" He asked seriously.

Harry waited for a minute before replying "No" he shook his head.

Ron and Hermione sighed with relief. "Of course, how can you like someone who you just met" laughed ron.

"Sorry harry. We were overthinking" said hermione.

Ron is about to say something when harry interrupted him.

"I love her" harry said calmly.
