chapter 2: Green seaweed.

Error grunted as the feeling of water up his nose became real. He swears under his breath as he tries to shake it out.

He had woken up at the side of a lake, all wet and covered in green seaweed. "Ugh. . . what happened?" He asked himself as he threw some of the seaweed that had covered his eyes into the lake. "Woah..." Error's voice was. . . different. It actually sounded normal, only glitching every once in a while.

Error immediately gets to his feet, brushing more of the seaweed off of him. The lake was honestly beautiful. The sun's light reflected on it, making it sparkle. Behind Error there was a forest of some sort, the trees were dence.

Emediantly, a wave if questions hits him. where was he? What AU was he in? Why was he above ground? didn't-

And then he remembered.

He remembered fighting Ink, and then Nightmare had joined. . . then the gang decided to help as well.

...What a stupid idea.

Ink had sent Dream and Dance (Dancetale sans) after Horror, Killer, and Dust. the problem was, when you fight with Dance, you have to dance your way out of the fight if you want to get out without being injured, but the only person in Nightmare's gang who knew how to dance was Cross. Dance had basically force the three sanses to dance with him. Dream shot the arrows and just like that, all three were down.

To be honest, having Dance fight to distract was a really good strategy, and if they had tried it on Error they might have actually gotten him.

Nightmare and Cross were fighting together against Color, Fell, and Classic. Lets just leave it with the fact that all they successfully attacked Nightmare and Cross from behind, and then Dream came over after he was done with Horror, Killer, and Dust to keep Nightmare's attention on him so that Nightmare wouldn't be able to kill everyone on the spot. Soon, almost everyone was down. And with Nightmare distracted with Dream. . .

That left Dance, Classic, Fell, Color, and Ink against yours truly, Error.

Then the memory hit him like that crappy book with the hardest cover in the library that no one liked because it was all about math.

Ink had KILLED Error.

And Error remembered it all.

He remembered how Ink look down at him with that emotionless expression.

He remembered how the metal on that horrible paint brush shined in the moonlight.

But why. . . why was he alive?

Error looked down to his hands and jumps in shock as he sees that the thousands of deep cuts had disappeared. The scars that cover his skull too had also disappeared, but the blue lines on his face remand on his cheeks. The other thing that stayed were random scratches and bruises, but hey? Error was not complaining.

He felt lighter, and less glued to the ground. For once, his coat wasn't soaked in blood or covered in dust. But what about his soul? Error quickly pulled it out and studied it. The dark blue chain that had constantly strangled it was now gone, and the cracks around Error's soul -to his surprise- they were healing.

This was. . . new.

Error quickly put his soul away, and then opens a glitchy portal to the code of the AU. Wait. . . multiverse. . .? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??

According to the code, Error had somehow gotten into a completely different multiverse called "PJ's Daycare." He quickly searched through its code to see if there was any alternate versions of himself or any other sans, seeing as the whole of PJ's daycare was just one AU in just one multiverse.

By the look of things, all of the alternate Sanses he knew were toddlers at the ages of 3-8, and they all went to a daycare that is owned by a skeleton named PJ. For some reason, the name PJ struck Error with some serious deja vu.

As he continued to scroll through the long sequence of text, and he started noticing the same names of his old multiverse's Sanses and Papyruses names being repeated.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of the Error's multiverse seemed to have move to this one. But that would mean. . .

. . . his multiverse had died. . .

Wow.

Just wow.

All Error had worked hard for to keep his multiverse alive. . . gone just like that.

It hurt.

It was like doing a twenty page essay and then your dog eats it on the day you were supposed to turn it in, only when you tell your teacher that your dog had eaten your homework, he'll just believe its just some lame excuse due to the fact that saying that "my dog ate my homework!" was a common joke.

-And Error had done A LOT. There's been $1,000,000 G bets that even hell wouldn't accept him. just like how the "dog ate my homework" was a lame excuse, Error had gotten the whole multiverse to hate him. Everything he says that doesn't seem like the "evil Error" he had been playing as for the past century would make it sound like he was lying.

Error sits back down on the wet pebbles in defeat.

"So. . . what do I do now? I could hide. . ." Error hums in thought. "I can't run. . . but. . . maybe I can try. . ." The idea of running made Error think. If he were to get into a situation were Ink or Dream were to somehow find him, where was he supposed to run?

Error stands up again with a sigh. "I guess I should at least explore. . ." He said aloud, he was used to talking to himself, it was a form of entertainment for him. But it wasn't that entertaining to the people listening.

Heh, Who's ever bothered to listen to him anyway?

Error turned and walked over to the forest, but the trees and bushes were too crowded for Error to get past.

A path leading through the mush caught Error's eye. "How convenient?~" With a smile he steps onto the path, looking around the inside of the mushy forest before deciding that it was safe to continue. He hummed as he walked down the path, wondering what monster he'll run into first. He just hoped it wouldn't end up being Ink.

Stretch watched quietly from the behind the damp bushes as the smaller skeleton walked through the forest. Quickly, he pulls out his phone and takes a picture.

He now had evidence.
